Probably a stupid question..

Hello, Im on bell and i have my hotmail email set up with my phone and i find it really annoying that i have to hit send/recieve to get delete and send emails...is there a way to just get the e-mail from the person who sent it, without hitting the send/recieve button..if it helps im running NFSFANS newest version of his rom.
Thanks
You could try mobipush which is a free push email service.
1. Navigate to your email tab on M2D
2. Select menu (bottom right soft key), then accounts
3. Select menu again, then options
4. You'll have a box that says "tap an account to change settings", select hotmail
5. Select synch schedule. You can set the frequency and times. Mine is set to every 60 minutes from 9am to 9pm
It's not as good as my exchange email, but better than selecting "send/recieve" all the time.
on your phone go to:
email -> hotmail inbox -> menu -> tools -> options ->click hotmail ->
sync schedule -> set sync frequency to "as items arrive"
emails will arrive in your hotmail inbox and show up on your phone about 30 s later

Email Downloader

is there any way to control the emails being downloaded by jade? can it customize the size of the emails and the number of days it will keep?
Thanks in advance!
have a look at this option :
Synchronise and then >> open activesync on compter
tools - options - highlight email - click settings - configure from there
Thanks! i'll try it later

How to choose synchronizing email folder?

Hi.
I love the HD2, but I got two things that drives me crazy.
1. Where can I find the option to enable sub-folder synchronizing in HD2?
Here is the link for the previews versions: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/v6-0/mark-email-folder-synchronization-touch.aspx
2. Where can I get into the "normal" settings menu for Windows Phone?
Thanks for all help...
go to your email inbox and and press menu (is the right softmenu), go to extra and then choose to manage folders and choos the folders you'd like to sync. Afterwards in the previous menu, choos update folders and it will be synced.

Email - leave messages on server

Is it just me or device deletes messages from server after send, receive?
You have to edit the mail account and tick that you want the messages to stay on the server. You will not be asked when creating the account...
Can you please tell me where is this option?
I have searched in manual settings, even after creating account, but I don't find it.
I know there was an option for this on my previous, wm6.1 phone, but here on hd2 on wm6.5 i can't find it...I suppose I need to search for it in outlook settings..but I don't find accout settings there...
Ok. I have the Danish version, so the names might be slightly different.
Edit your account -> Schedule for send/receive -> advanced -> here it is.
Thanks...10 characters
Np, did it work?
No...
I go to email tab...I press edit accout...then I need to select account...I select it...and then I have the same thing like when you add new account...and I can change manual settings...I don't find any advanced options...

Go to Inbox, then Menu -> Tools -> Options
As soon as you choose the account you will edit you get 3 choices, right? Then choose the one with send/receive. Then you can choose schedule and how old the messages are allowed to be. In the bottom there is an advanced link...

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant the email program (which I referred to as outlook) on the HD2, go to your inbox and then go to the menu option.. and so on.

It was a little different on my HD2:
start
email
select your account you want to change
menu
scroll and select tools
options
tap account you want to change
click next on edit server setting screen
click next on user information screen
pick e-mail (mine shows contacts, calendar, and e-mail)
click settings
tap download size settings
select entire message from drop down
done
I use gmail trough exchange to sync my email, calendar, and contacts, that may be why mine is different.
OMG, thank you so much.
Damn they made that difficult! Thanks for the help!!
