Hi,

You'll have to do a search and find a link for the google apps (i don't have one handy). Google had asked cyanogen not to include google apps with his ROMs.
The first post in the CyanogenMod post announcing 5.0.8 has the link for the google apps in it, read it thoughly

[q] how to download from web based android market?

hi guys,
i'm sorry if this was answered before but i searched and couldn't find the answer.
i'm trying to buy an app from the web based android market but i cannot send it to my device.
my hd2 is in the dropdown list but it's greyed out and i get this message: "this item cannot be installed on your device" .
i cannot download directly from the market app because we don't have access to paid apps in my country (although we do have access to them via the web based market ).
so, does anybody know a way to make google think i have a native android phone?
thanks ,
antaed
p.s.
this is the app i'm desperately trying to buy:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.softpauer.motogp2011&feature=search_result
it's not the newest version available but it's close
Deleted Warez
just download and install free and it should work (btw you should enable the "install apps not from market" function
Thank you so much XthelordinatorX

[Q] Voice Recognition Problem on JW's MIUI [ Android 2.3.5 ]

Hi mates, I was trying to use one of voice related applications but all of them turned me to install google voice search, so I look up for it at the market and find it but it says your device not compatible with this app.
I searched the forum and read lots of threads and see that its possible to use it on HD2. So is there anything to do before installing it ?
ROM: JW's MIUI
Android: 2.3.5
TMOUS HD2
Thank you
Did you try to install it from this market?

ok I figured it out! Its not available in my country language so I found the Turkish apk and its working now.

Can HD2 support Google Voice Search?

Dear XDA community,
I am using Hyperdroid ROM running Android Gingerbread on my HTC HD2.
I've been trying to install Google Voice Search from market and also downloaded some apk found in the net, however upon launch I got a Force Close message.
Need it to run SpeakToIt Virtual Assistant
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1304629
Can someone advice or perhaps provide me a working apk that doesn't FC?
Thanks
this one works for me with hyperdroid.
It works, but only if your location is supported.
I think it only allows english speaking countries to download.
Dear mutil. Thanks +
The apk works very well. Tried hard to find one that supports Hyperdroid.
Appreciate it man

Installing Google services on Chinese HTC U Ultra ?

Hi to all
I purchased an HTC U Ultra device but the seller sent me by mistake the Chinese version with no google play services and only English or Chinese languages.
I can manage with English as the device language.
As a solution I tried installing Google Play Services using an app called Google installer (version 2).
It did install (Google play services, account manager, Play store, contact sync and more), but all the time there was a persistent error message that Google play services stopped working, so I did not have a chance to check if things worked. I was forced to uninstall all of the apps that the package installed.
Is there other solutions to successfully install Google Play Services and play store and relevant services on the Chinese firmware ?

sorry. I this thread is different, it as not about changing the firmware like the other one. It is about accepting the current Chinese firmware. If it is against the rules - sorry again
