Droidx "droid eye" livewallpaper download - G1 General

i found this here, the source is right back to xda in the nexus section
http://www.droid-life.com/2010/06/26/download-droid-x-live-wallpaper/
when i try and use open the LP i get a white screen :s
has anyone got this cool lw to work? is it a screen size issue? because droid 1 users have reported it to work.

Im guessing your on cyan(2.1), try pushing to /sys, then fix permissions.

Super Hero V2

ok i just installed superhero v2..how and where do i get both the htc and goodle widgets?? please help!!
also the apps im trying to download wont start downloading..any ideas why not??
or will be so kind to send me there zip file..I HAVE LOOKED AND SEARCHED ITS ALOT OF HERO BS THATIM NOT LOOKING FOR!!
Don't think you've searched hard enough, but I'll help ya out.
The widgets should be there if you just add them to the home screen, using the plus button on the bottom right.
An inability to install apps from the Market sounds like the permission problem that some people run into, which you'll need to run from the console or from a terminal.

The persoon who rooted your phone may have also used the clock removal mod. Searchh the forums for this, as i know it can be reversed, just dont remember the exact steps without reverting to a backup that still has the clock.

Disable X10 bottom lights

So i was reading an ebook before bed and I didn't realize how exceedingly annoying those two lights at the bottom are until I switched off the light. In the dark, it makes me want to gut it out. If there's a thread already expressing the same sentiments, I apologize. Is there a mod for this?

Thanks for the guide! ^^
Maybe it helps for something else.
There's probably a way to do it through software. I know that zdzihu had the opposite problem while working on FreeX10. The bottom lights went out and they wouldn't turn back on. He later fixed it in beta 3, so I'm guessing he would know how to turn them off. I'm sure it's contained in framework-res.apk somewhere, because some other threads talk about copying that file in order to get the "fix".
If you're inclined, you could also compare framework-res.apk between FreeX10 beta 2 hotfix 1 and beta 3.

I am fairly certain that it has nothing to do with the framework-res.apk in particular.
BUT, there's an app for that... https://market.android.com/details?id=net.geekherd.softbuttonshack
+1 for me, waiting 4 easy solution
btw the leds hack app doesnt work on our phone
Well, this solution I have is only applicable if you're in Free X10 beta 4 with CM. You can install this theme (GB) via recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=944066 and you will lose the bottom lights.
Hmm services.jar i think

Appreciate all the suggestions, guys. I went to check out LEDs Hack (thank you My_Immortal) and according to the dev, we need to run this through ADB and send it over to him so the X10 can be supported:
*Alert, I can only support devices that go through me. If you want me to support your device, and you have experience with linux and adb, run this command "adb shell find /sys -iname brightness" and send me the list of files returned via email*
Excuse my n00biness but I don't know how to do that :S
About installing FX10B4, I came from that to 2.1 because something got messed up (my fault). I was hoping we could get a universal solution so users across all platforms will benefit.
Figured out how to do it in terminal emulator. Already emailed the dev.
Now let's hope the X10 gets supported soon

MikG 3.0 2nd issue - no lockscreen/sd card

Oh no. Here I am posting again within a few days with another issue.
My previous issue can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459225
I just turned my phone off to attend a few classes and when I turned it on my lockscreen was invisible (so could not unlock phone) and I saw an error on the top bar saying my memory storage was empty. If I reinsert my sd card the error goes away but lockscreen is still invisible. The phone does nothing. I hate to say it but I'm thinking about switching outta this ROM. It's moving fast when it DOES work so would love some help on this.
Thanks in advance.
This happened to me when flashing, i had to flash, reflash reflash reflash until it finally came up, Maybe try rebooting it a bunch of times?
This happened to me as well when I tried MikG 3.0. You might want to try going into recovery and selecting the mounts and storage option and choose mount emmc. If it gives you an error, then your EMMC is borked and you must flash back to a stock incredible based from (such as TeeRom, Ice Cream Sense, or Stock GB) to format phone storage. You'll lose everything on EMMC but it will fix your issue. I also took out my SD card before choosing to format phone storage just to be safe
Looks like something is causing this issue on Mik3.0 and I unfortunately must advise backing up your emmc before using it.

What Mods are the two of you using? Ext4, themes not in the MikG forum? I need to know so I can try to recreate the problem. As I said in another post, this ROM does NOT even touch the emmc partition. Let me know what changes you've made. I can't help you with no information. There's been a hundred downloads and you two are the only ones I see with an emmc issue. Are your phones new, used, eBay? Thanks for the info.
EDIT: Also, what CWM recovery are you using?

My info:
- Bought brand new 1.5 years ago
- CWM 5.0.2.0
- Hboot 0.92
- Nothing additional was flashed, not even tiny's kernel
- Wiped Data/Factory Reset, boot and system from CWM before flashing
- Restored apps with data from Titanium
- Set up Google and Facebook accounts
- Installed and applied Slate.apk
- Applied the following tweaks:
Font: Roboto
Autobrightness: Lowest
Boot Animation: HTC Stock
Down Animation: ATTEMPTED to switch to HTC Stock, however it was hanging on the download so I hit home to get out of the screen.
Status Bar Transparency: Switched to transparent, switched back
Rosie Drawer Scrolling: Disabled
Quick Settings: Disabled various quicksettings (4G, ADB Wireless, Silent, Vibrate)
Animation speed: Switched from Normal to slow on both transition and window
- Edited build.prop ro.fingerprint to reflect GB instead of Froyo so I don't get the OTA nag
- Set up everything all nice and stuff
I may have missed something, but that's pretty much what I did.

Only thing I see I don't like and don't recommend is TB with data. I have never had ANY luck keeping things stable doing that. Not saying that's it, just pointing it out. Still not seeing anything. Sorry. Just not sure how the ROM can do this. I asked Aamikam, the dev for the EVO version of this for his thoughts. He's not sure how this is even possible since the ROM doesn't touch emmc. Not sure.

There are four reported cases of this issue on these forums so far; the OP of this thread, two more in the rom thread and myself. Still not as widespread as it could be, but it must be a rom issue. I've been restoring apps with APP data (never system data) through titanium in every rom flash and never have any issues, so I do not believe that is it. However I am not ruling it out. I forgot to mention I have an AMOLED screen if that makes any difference.

I also have AMOLED. What I'm not understanding is that I have flashed the exact .zip the reported cases have flashed. I've not seen the issue. Very frustrating, this is my favorite ROM and just wanted to be able to share with others, because this has always been a favorite.

Those having various issues, there is an updated build.prop on the mikmik site. Try it please.

Good ol' software.
I'll try and troubleshoot it tomorrow perhaps. I love this rom as well and if I can get MMS over Wifi working like you say you have then it'll be a daily driver for sure.
What we know:
- Issue happens after a reboot
- EMMC is repartitioned as something completely different/is corrupted, making the volume unreadable.
- Upon boot, apps and whatnot seem to start up but no lock screen is present. The entire device does not respond to touches, including the capacitive buttons and hardware buttons excluding the power button (holding it does nothing though) to turn the screen off and on. Perhaps its having trouble loading Rosie.apk?
Also, I remember I did freeze some HTC stuff I don't use, but I don't recall freezing anything out of the ordinary. When I go back to troubleshoot I'll redo everything step by step, rebooting after each change.

Ok guys. I'be figured out what happened, just have to fix it. There is no emmc on the EVO. I have to trick our phone into seeing it. Talking to Newt to figure this out. Thanks for your patience.

This is great news! Keep us posted
I've been having the same issues mentioned, I took me 3 flashes to get the lockscreen to work and occasionally when I do reboots it won't show up and I'll have to do a battery pull. I also get the sd notifications sometimes, the sd card still works but the notification stays there. Another problem I've been having is that annoying system update from verizon, it keeps popping up and I don't know how to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Build prop update at the mikmik will help with the update nag. Also, I finally got the SD/emmc , and lockscreen issue, all at the same time after doing a font. For two weeks I had no issues, until I decided to change fonts in tweaks. Anyone having these issues after changing fonts? Just trying to troubleshoot some more.

I switched to Roboto font during my run, but I did a bunch of other tweaks previously mentioned before rebooting so I couldn't single it out for sure. Sure does seem like the culprit now though!

I haven't had the lockscreen issue in a while but I keep getting a notification that won't go away saying "Phone storage is empty or has unsupported files". And how do you push build.prop with root explorer?

Download the file to your SD card. Make a backup of your current build.prop. Call it build.prop.old. Copy the downloaded build.prop and paste to /system directory. Then change permissions to rw-r--r-- . Do all of this before a reboot. To change permissions, make sure system is r/w enabled, then long press file and select permissions.

Command center (Circle Widget) on Nougat

Hi All!
I have a Moto Z2 and I would like to install back the Command center/Circle Widget/how you wanna call it...
I've been looking on the web and here on XDA, but the APK you can find somehow is not working on Z2, or at least not been shown in widget list
For my understanding: is Command center/Circle Widget still available on Z Force (Verizon only I guess) after 7.x update? Is it still working?
In case: would somebody extract it and post it?
Really appreciated!
is there anybody who can at least confirm?
thanks!

It is working on 7.1.1 not sure if there is anything besides apk needed to work.
Thanks for your reply! Could you please try to extract the related apk?

Try this one yet? Used on my Moto x pure https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/themes-apps/moto-z-command-center-t3438469
Yep, already tried, but it doesn't work
Or, at least, it doesn't show up in widget list
Posted as well on Lenovo forum, but no helpful answer so far ("sideloaded app, not support.."), that's why I'm asking here an apk extract from Z force
Thanks!
I dont have Nougat but see if it works

Thanks, I'll give it a try!
I've been discussing this as well on Motorola forums, seems the problems is related to standard launcher, which is preventing the widget to be shown in the widget list..
Hey, guys! I was attempting to get Command Center working on my old Droid Bionic running Lineage 14.1, and, while the .apk would install, I could never see the widget. I finally discovered that, for whatever reason, the widgets had been installed to my external SD card instead of internal storage. So, going to Settings>Apps>Command Center>Storage, and you might see at the top "Storage used", with a "Change" button. Just have it moved to internal storage, and you'll be going on your merry way!
Command Center
Please put a app in play store to download command center for Moto z play and z force phones. Thanks
Command Center
I have the Moto z play phone could not get the app for command center to download right until I went to the play store and downloaded Nova launcher. Then I downloaded command center from this site and now it works great!! Thanks xda-developers. I have the mods for my phone and this app is great to see battery life for phone and mods.
This works on any Motorola (or maybe other makes), you just need to adjust the display size in android settings. Sucks, because I like the huge font and display size, but making them smaller allows this widget to be added. If the settings aren't right, the widget won't even show up as an option
