Definitely the EVO. I've had BAD experiencies with Samsung build quality in the past, so I'm staying away from them. Plus, it's not a HTC device, so it won't be on XDA! That cancels the Samsung out right away.

My fingers are too big for the keyboard on the hero so the 4.3 screen on the EVO sounds awesome but Sprint really screwed things up with the EVO in terms of the extra 240 that customers have to pay for purchasing one as well as the upload speed caps and disabling of of the HDMI out.
I like the hardware on the Samsung if it lives up to the hype of being the fastest android device on the market. Also if the increase in battery life can be achieved this should be one impressive phone. I could do with out the slide out keyboard though, so I would prefer that the Galaxy S come to Sprint as opposed to the S pro.
There is a thread somewhere in the forum that says the S pro is coming with 4G if that is the case then this is serious competition to the EVO though I still really like sense...can sense be put on a samsung phone?

When you purchase an EVO they take on an extra $10/month fee to what ever your existing plan's cost is. Since most people upgrade their phone every two years in order to get the discount this amounts to an extra $240 for the cost of the phone. Note I say cost of the phone because Sprint does assert that this extra $10 fee is not for 4G but rather is for hardware features of the phone such as the "super fast 1Ghz processor and large 4.3in screen"
The EVO is capable of HDMI out through a mini USB to HDMI cable. This would allow people to connect their phones to their HDTVs. Initially I was really excited about this because it would mean that you could stream SprintTV and other web content to your phone and watch it on a larger screen. Unfortunately it was reported that the HDMI out on the phone was going to be disabled for all content other then photos and video taken with the on board camera :-( I am not sure who is at fault for this but it is just one more example of how us costumers here in the US get screwed over by someone :-((

The May 6th event in London in London is drawing ever closer. It is still three days away, and our mouths are already watering for the HTC Diamond. The presumed highlight of the show, will be the HTC Diamond. Now, instead of the low quality spy shots we have seen, we finally have some awesome images. Also, we have the rumored specifications of the device. Strap in, because this is some exciting stuff.
For media, there is a 3.2 megapixel camera, 4GB of internal storage with MicroSD expansion still on the table, FM radio and a 2.8 inch glorious VGA screen. Connectivity is a sure thing, with HSDPA 7.6mbps, and WiFi, you are ready for all the high speed you can handle. To round out the feature list, it has a slide out QWERTY, quad band GSM, a rumored accelerometer, and is 10.7mm thick

I'll tell you why:
Because this is the most popular thread and people get a wider coverage for their posts here.
It sucks that they misuse the xda-forum like this, and they make it a nightmare for the rest of us to navigate the forum.

This is true and I had thought of posting my Themes in this section which others have but, I posted them in general instead. Making a theme isn't development IMO as compared to making the killer app iTask.
That thing is ugly
Sorry for posting in the wrong section!! =(
really ugly !!! The front looks good, but the BACK !!!
vga is great, but the screen isnt bigger than others, why ? and does it still have just 64000 colors ?
The cpu is good, but this is no real milestone, and really uggly design sorry. Reminds me of the ugly corners of the touchcruise.
But you are all right, this is all definitly wrong here.
hohoho
LG KC1 is Marvell Monahans 806 MHz CPU
I think it's beautiful all the way. The back is painted with an optical illusion that it looks like a diamond, where in fact it's just flat. Brilliant!
Have you guys ever heard of buzz marketing?
This is exactly what this DaVince boy is doing.
I hope for him that he makes some good money out of this.
BTW the HTC Diamond brings in some step changes and not the quantum leap he alluded to.

Enough to make me not buy it, sadness.
does HTC fix the video driver problem with the Diamond?
I was thinking of buying a Diamond for Mother's Day for my wife who is enjoying her Wizard. I was assuming that the video performance problem that exists with the Touch, the Kaiser, the Athena, etc., etc. is fixed in the Diamond, but I'd like to be sure.
My Wizard and my Cingular 2125 perform better than my Tilt and my Athena. By perform better, I mean screen redraws; doing things like changing orientation, or using the Camera, or scrolling in a web page, are painfully slow on the Tilt and the Anthena. I don't own a Touch, so I don't know first hand, but I believe the Touch is listed on http://www.htcclassaction.org/.
Since the Diamond is in the Touch family, I am concerned that it will have the same video performance issues. I'm not up enough on which chipset use which drivers.
Does anyone know if HTC has fixed the video driver problem in the Diamond?

Scrolling/Lag Fix?

I had been having ALOT of trouble with scrolling in text messages as well as websites absolutely sucking, and always jumping around when i wasnt touching the screen. I noticed in another forum that people who were having this problem (including me) have almost constant 3g data connections (the light in the tool bar is always lit). Initially I tried rebooting, and using advanced task kill to see if i could kill whatever the data hog was, but it didnt help.
I then discovered that by going to the settings in advanced task killer and setting security to low, that by killing everything (aka the tons of htc.* crap) that my 3g light no longer was lit like a christmas tree, and that scrolling actually worked. Everything on this phone seems snappier now, but maybe that is just a placebo effect. Either way im just happy I can actually read my older text messages again Give it a try if you cant scroll. Maybe someone wiser than I can figure what specific app is ****ing up the data connection. I dont think it is anything I installed, since I was already killing those with the normal security settings.
P.s. **** htc. If I wasn't stuck on my parent's plan I would jump ship on this p.o.s.
Root and remove the ****.
Jump ship to what? This phone has the best hardware specs of any US device to date...
Yeah, root and remove the sprint crap. I even removed Sense UI, and I have never had a lag problem. Even using 'overclock widget' to downscale dramatically when the phone is "turned off ".

HDMI, 8mp rear camera, front camera, and kickstand are the reasons I got it. Not screen size or 4g.
The only phone with similar specs (out right now) is the N900. It lacks the HDMI, has lower mp cameras (but they are likely better), has the outstanding 32gb of internal storage, and is every bit as hackable. Unfortunately, Nokia has essentially abandoned that phone otherwise I would be all over it.

Samsung isn't the manufacturer you want to go to if you are upset with HTC's build quality (Samsung's current Android phone hardware track record is extremely checkered).

THIS. Sorry if this comes off as rude but seriously, it's getting tiring hearing people try to say this phone sucks and rubbing it in EVO owners' faces. It's a great phone even despite its downfalls. There are plenty of us who don't have all of the glaring problems. If you want a Galaxy S or a Droid X or a Droid 2 or a Droid Incredible then stop wasting your own time visitng the EVO forum and return your phone already. I swear, it's like people need to justify the fact that they bought something that they ultimately ended up not liking.
Point blank: If you don't like the phone and you want to return it, then DO it, instead of declaring it in every post and trying to rain on satisfied customers' parade.
As to the actual topic:
I'll try this in a second. I wasn't really having much lag or scrolling issues in the first place though. I think some EVOs are just defective.
I do have a question though: Did anyone notice that the amount of touch/scrolling lag seems to depend on the app that you're using? For example when I scroll in the app menu, it lags quite a bit before it starts scrolling. But in Handcent and Touiteur, I barely have any lag at all. The scrolling is also smoother in those apps as opposed to, say, the Engadget app which has some highly noticeable jerkiness to the text when you scroll really slow.
Is this an issue that the developers of the app control?
Edit: I did notice that things were a wee bit snappier accross the board but scrolling still seems about the same for me.

I'm of the belief that people come to these forums because they do have an attachment to the EVO, and while they are upset about something, they are looking for reasons to keep the phone.
They want convincing evidence that they were correct in making the decision to purchase the EVO.

Only thing it has is its internal storage which means nothing to me, I have 2 16GB, and 3 or 4 8GB cards. Space is erroneous in this day and age. Oh, and the Super AMOLED screen. That i have no argument for, even though its the same resolution, but .3" smaller.... And no word on a Froyo update for it yet. Awesome!
So yeah... I feel like you're kidding yourself.

As for lag, I have none. However, my phone wasnt stock for very long. I have removed Rosie, and all the Sprint apps. I use LauncherPro Beta for my home replacement. I have OC Widget set to underclock when the screen is off, and have AutoKiller running at 'Extreme' (I think since we have so much ram the lesser presets dont really do much). Also with my setup Im sure i could go at least 12 hours off the charger with moderate to heavy use.

All you guys who say your Evo has no lag: I have a friend who also has and Evo and swears there is no touch/scroll lag on it at all... I checked it out, it's 100% there. Later that day, I played around with his MacBook Pro - same thing. The mouse is lagging 0.1-0.2 seconds behind my movement... I guess his claim of "no lag at all" was simply because he's used to it on his computer

His Macbook Pro lags? One, i doubt that, and two are you saying that those of us "claiming" not to have lag are just making it up? Because my Evo runs flawless. I know there are better setups than mine, even an overclocked one, but I like how my phone is and truthfully there is NO lag. Not when scrolling, nor on the keyboard (which is where i usually noticed lag on my Hero, even when it was overclocked).

You are forgetting the hummingbird processor which is more powerful than the snapdragon in the evo. Internal storage is important when the memory card is under the battery. As you said, the screen is better than the evo's 65k color screen. It also doesn't have the 30fps limit "feature". You are fooling yourself if you don't think the galaxy s is at least a competitive phone, if not better.

Yes, his MacBook Pro lags, but only the mouse tracking, not the whole system... tho I ended up fixing it by installing appropriate drivers and now mouse is as snappy as any other Windows based computer. now he DOES see the difference
No, I'm not saying that all make up those claims, not at all... just saying not all those "claims" are true, as was the case with my friend's Evo.

Weird, I thought 1ghz, and 1ghz were the same regardless of the maker... And i said storage is erroneous to ME. Also, if i need sixty billion colors i'll watch a blu ray on my HDTV.... not while trying to browse the web on a 4 inch display.... Also i never said it wouldnt be a competitor...
Quick question where can i check out one of these Galaxy phones? Thats right there not available. So until they come out and everyone has had a chance to play with it and find its flaws, just like the Evo and every other electronic device trying to live up to its own hype, then we shall see who is competing with who.
EDIT: Also if we are just comparing specs, then why not throw the HD2 in the ring? Should that be a competitor too?

Ahh ok. I was going to say... My Blackbook is over two years old and still runs like a beast, but that could be the 4GB of RAM and the 7200rpm HD.
For the record though, mine arent claims, and i seriously believe that if Sprint didnt load all those crappy apps, and HTC would optimize Sense no one would have lag. With out the Sprint apps or Sense UI how could this phone not be blazing fast. I cant wait to play with a fully functional Froyo ROM. The improvements should yield a user noticeable difference.

Are you going to buy this phone? Why?
________________________________________________________
Definitely want to buy this phone. It's spec blow out any other phone on the market, including the Atrix.
The Atrix will not stand up to this device, and the only thing going for the Atrix is the Laptop Dock, which in my opinion is not worth it because alone it is $500 for the dock, and there are much better netbooks for that price, or tablets for that matter.
Now, I am waiting for this device to come out in the US, but it probably will not for some time. It seems as though it is coming out in Europe first, and if I order it from over there, the websites are listing preorders at $650+. If it comes to US, it will probably be a bit cheaper, but not much. It wouldn't really matter either way because I do not have an upgrade so however I can get my hands on this thing, I'm going to do it at the cheapest price.
From the looks of it, websites are saying March 4th or 5th release in UK, and 2nd quarter release in US. If it's that soon in UK, I'd order it from there, but I probably won't have the money right away. Also, I don't know if I'm losing/gaining anything by buying the European version. Usually when it comes to the US, whatever company it goes to adds all its bloatware and so I'd be happy without it. Because chances are it will go to AT&T(Considering it has AT&T's 3G) and they seem to preload a bunch of their apps on Android phones.
That's all me though, I wanna see what others think.
What I would like to know is, will the SGS2 will be released in a USA version like the first SGS (Vibrant, Fascinate etc.)..?
Never found info about that..
In the videos, people have snapped off the back to reveal a 1500 mah battery. Samsung claims it will be a 1650 mah in the final product, but I am still concerned that it is just talk since there doesn't look to be anymore room in a thin device like this, unless the batteries are the same size. Another question is why HTC devices usually have 1350 or 1400 mah batteries, not the standard 1500 mah that other phones have, and whether certain phone companies have exclusivities of some kind with the battery tech. Or maybe it is just deliberate mislabeling and HTC is being conservative.
I want to see a review first, 2 things that worry me about this phone:
Battery Life
Processor
No one seems to be able to confirm either spec at the moment, and that is a little troublesome. I don't know how power efficient the screen or the mystery processor is, so I would want to see some hands on experience with that, and I'd want to know what is inside, whether or not it is a lottery as to which one you get, and if it is Samsung's Exynos then how well it stacks up against Tegra2. If Samsung has been a little more transparent about the hardware then it wouldn't have been a problem, but the fact they are keeping it under wraps means one of two things: the Exynos is amazing and the retails version will blow everything out of the water or more likely that they are having trouble with it, be it reliability or supply issues, and will substitute it certain markets for a similar equivalent.

Here's a good review. I will put it at the first post too

I will certainly not be getting it. Unnecessary it is, at least for me. But it does look much better than the SGS!

They say the screen is more efficient than the old superamoled, and I believe them. I don't see any good reason for Samsung to lie about modest efficiency improvements. The processor uses the same ARM9 cpus that the Tegra does, and several other chips as well, so they are all about equal. Even if they release a different chip for secondary markets, all the chips are about equal like I said before, so unless you are obsessed about a small percentage difference or a few points, it really isn't worth worrying about.

Actually, I believe Eldar Murtazin (the author of the article) is a respectable phone reviewer. He gets phones from manufacturers to test way ahead of time (eg in this case, he got the Galaxy S II in November 2011 way before CES).

Oh my...face recognition unlock, i gotta get my self one of these phones lol...
cant wait ^_^
Another nice feature is the micro USB connector on the bottom, which will make possible docks..
No old CRT-style TV-off effect when hitting power? Blasphemy, deal breaker!

hi, I'am sure I'll buy this phone as soon as it will show up in Poland.
Now I'm usung an old and erroring Nokia e65.
I want a phone that:
- has good camera with LED
- can record high quality videos
- is fast enough for various games
- plays music clean (galaxy s also was great in this case)
- has USB OTG and streams high quality media! (together with external hard disc it can be a portable HD video player ^^)
- runs Android
I was concerned about HTC DHD, what's more I bought it in November!
But I was fooled and didn't received my device. It took about 3 months before I got my money back... but hey! as I heard about SGS2 I want it now more than I wanted DHD
cheers, Wojtek

I've just preordered mine from clove.uk. Expensive, but it's price for being impatient
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
I don't understand why people pre-order, you're still going to have to wait until the phone is released to get your hands on it. At the most it saves you one or two days but makes you spend a lot more than the retail price.

Motorola Atrix 4G Review
Motorola Can Beat All Against Competitors
Source Article: www.motorolaatrixforum.com
There were a bevy of Android phones introduced at CES. One stood out and that was the Motorola Atrix 4G, winner of the Best of CES 2011. This was largely due to the unique accessories and capabilities of the phone. In particular, the ability to dock the Atrix 4G into a laptop dock accessory and transform it into a capable laptop. Unlike most phones we’ve reviewed in the past, the Atrix is unique in the breadth of accessories that transform this phone into a laptop, multimedia device and more. These all come at cost, but we’ll get into that later in the review.

Hardware
From a physical perspective, the Atrix doesn’t stand out from the pack. It’s your standard black slab, but feels very good in your hand. If you stack the Atrix 4G on top of an iPhone 4, the two are almost identical, with the Atrix being just slightly larger. Motorola uses what they term “vacuum metalized housing” throughout the device, which when combined with the curved edges also make for an attractive design. Build quality is very good, but not Nexus One great (in our minds, the gold standard for build quality).
The Atrix 4G is the first phone with a qHD display. The four-inch display is 960 x 540 and uses Corning’s Gorilla Glass. This will provide you with the added comfort that’s it’s difficult to scratch the display. That’s a good thing because images, icons and apps look spectacular on the display. Included with the phone is limited version of Need for Speed Shift, which would allow for a great preview of the graphic prowess of the Atrix. While resistant to scratches, the same cannot be said for fingerprints. When the display is off, it really shows fingerprints. This is not an issue when the device is powered on, but I felt it worth noting.
Coupled with the microUSB port is an HDMI port, both of which help the Atrix transform into a laptop or mini-media center. There is a VGA front-facing camera and the back features a 5-megapixel camera that provides for 720p video capture.
The power button doubles as a fingerprint sensor that allows you to secure your phone from prying eyes. Set-up was a breeze and it allows you to setup a backup password should the fingerprint scanner function incorrectly. In our tests, the fingerprint scanner worked perfectly. You still have to physically depress the button to power on the phone. The swipe simply unlocks your device. The power button is recessed at the top back of the phone and it’s not ideal positioning. Still, the trade-off here is the ability to use the fingerprint scanner for added security. To power the phone on/off, you need to grip the sides tightly in order to press the button.
Processor and Storage
Powered by a dual-core 1Ghz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, the Atrix 4G also includes 1GB of RAM. The result is a device that is an absolute pleasure to use purely due to the speed. Whether you are opening apps, acting on email or text notification or playing Need For Speed, lag is not in the Atrix’s dictionary. Even with a plethora of MotoBlur widgets (which can be removed), the device is incredibly fast. Granted it’s over a year old, but the Atrix 4G is noticeably faster when compared to the Nexus One (my current Android phone). The Atrix will go as fast as you go and that’s saying a lot. Speed by far was it’s most significant attribute during my use.
Linpack: MFLOPS 37.094, Time: 2.23 Seconds, Norm res: 5.68.
The device is clearly targeted at business users and/or heavy multimedia users, but will appeal to anyone looking for a spec-laded Android phone on AT&T. It comes with 16GB of on board storage, with support of up to 32GB microSD cards. Safe to say, the device offers plenty of space for documents and media.
4G Speeds
The Atrix is a 4G phone and AT&T claims network speeds up to 6Mbps are possible. This is highly dependant upon a host of factors, most notably your geographic area. AT&T is still in the process of rolling out their “enchanced backhaul”, which is necessary for you to achieve higher speeds. In our testing, we did not come close to those numbers. Using test applications Speedtest and FCC Test, the highest we saw was 2229 kbps download and 191 kbps upload. Our testing was conducted in NYC and Long Island. If you are concerned about speeds, we’d recommend you download one or both of these applications at your local AT&T Store and run speed tests. Testing in your area will allow you to have a good expectation of download speeds.
As for battery life, it was on par with other smartphones. Having a removable battery, it’s easy enough to extend the life by carrying a spare. I managed a full day with an assortment of apps open. Your mileage may vary.
Voice call quality was clear on both ends. Nothing stood out either way when it came to voice calls.
Software
It’s surprising, if not disappointing, to see new phones get released without the current 2.3 version of Android. Even Google’s Nexus One is without 2.3, so it’s hard to fault Motorola on this one. The Atrix 4G runs MotoBlur and I found it minimally invasive. I actually like the ability to move quickly from any of my homescreens by selecting the dots. Also a nice touch was “people” speed dials with multiple phone number fields for your favorites. For those who don’t care for the UI, there are several available launchers in the Android Market.
There are a number of AT&T sanctioned applications on the device that including, but not limited to:
AT&T Code Scanner
AT&T FamilyMap
AT&T Navigator
LiveTV
myAT&T
Blockbuster
I don’t particularly have a need for any of the apps, but you might. Given the sufficient amount of storage space that comes with the Atrix, this wasn’t a big deal for me.
Multimedia
Like most photo takers, the ability to snap a shot quickly plays an important role in photo-taking. Shutter speeds are quick and the 5-megapixel camera was able to produce high quality images. The front-facing camera is VGA and suitable for it’s intended purpose of video chat. The following are sample photos. They were resized, but not edited.
The camcorder produced good results. The video below is completely unedited and should provide you with a good idea of what you can expect from the 720p HD camera on the Atrix. I’ve also seen high quality video shot on the Atrix in a concert hall setting and was surprised at how well it performed in low-light areas.
Atrix 4G Accessories
The Motorola Atrix 4G is unique in that there are an abundance of accessories that transform the phone into a multimedia hub or laptop.
Laptop Dock
The laptop dock is essentially a netbook-style laptop without any memory, processor or other component. The Atrix 4G plugs into the back and becomes the brains of the operation. The laptop dock does include a battery, so while docked, it will actually charge the Atrix 4G.
The build quality of the Laptop Dock was impressive. It’s solid, sturdy and very lightweight given its lack of internals. This also allows for the dock to be ultra-thin, making it great for roadwarriors. The glossy display was bright and vivid, though susceptible to glare. The keyboard was tactile and comfortable to type on. The track pad does not support two finger scrolling or gestures. Performance of the track pad was middling at best.
The Laptop runs a webtop application developed by Motorola, but it’s limited in scope. Within the WebTop experience, you have essentially three apps. Included is a full version of Mozilla’s Firefox browser. Anything you can do within a desktop version of Firefox, you can do with the Atrix Laptop Dock. There are no Office applications, so you’ll need to rely on browser-based apps like Google Docs. One mirrors your phone, allowing you to run any apps you have on your Atrix within a small widget on the laptop dock. This can be handy, since you can make calls while checking email, browsing the web or editing a document.
Performance on a whole was not on par with a moderately priced netbook. Pages load slowly even using a WiFi connection. There are dedicated icons to web-based services such as Facebook and U-Verse. Both essentially do away with the address bar, providing you with more real estate. Think of them as bookmarks that launch into full screen.
A dedicated multimedia app titled the Entertainment Center” is included and allows you to access media on your Atrix 4G. The interface is actually very smooth and well done. It certainly makes it easy to share photos or video taken on your phone. During music playback, it shows some album artwork and animation. It’s similar to what you’d find in iTunes or Zune software.
While using the Laptop Dock, I found myself forgetting that it’s essentially a shell of an OS. You’re reminded when making changes to WiFi or even checking email. Outside of the Firefox browser, all of your work must be done in the phone, which appears as a window on your desk. Navigating your phone via the laptop felt odd. There are no scroll bars, so you have to click and drag to move up or down. While I understood it was driving this whole experience, I hoped the phone would stay in the background, allowing for more of a true desktop experience.
The Laptop Dock plus Atrix 4G is offered as a bundle, priced at $499.99, making the price tag of the Laptop Dock roughly $300. If you decide to add the Laptop Dock at a later date, it’s $499.99. While the concept is great and we could see this being a viable laptop for short trips, it’s not a full laptop replacement. The price point is in line with most well-equipped netbooks, which for some might be a better alternative. In order to use Firefox, you must have both the Data Pro Plan ($25) and the Tethering Plan ($20) The Atrix 4G Laptop Dock is great technology, but needs more time to develop in order command that price tag.
Multimedia Dock
The multimedia dock allows you to connect your Atrix 4G to your HDTV. You can accomplish this with the included cable or using the dock (which then makes use of the included cable. The Motorola Entertainment Center referenced above is what you’ll see on your television. Included with the dock is a remote control and this is the lure of the Multimedia Dock. The remote makes it easy to browse through the Entertainment Center and access your content. We tested video taken with the phone and also an .avi, .mov files. All played back without any issues.
The Multimedia Dock is priced at $129.99, which seems high considering a Zune HD dock complete with remote and cables is regularly priced at $89.99. The Atrix already includes the HDMI cable necessary to utilize your media on an HDTV.
Other peripheral options include a keyboard and mouse. Bundled with the Multimedia Dock, this option costs $189.99. AT&T lists the keyboard at $69.99. It comes with dedicated keys to access options on your Android phone. This might end up being a low-cost alternative to someone who composes long emails or documents while on the go. This is a full-size keyboard, yet compact and light.
Pros:
-->Very fast
-->Solid build quality
-->Numerous expansion capabilities, accessories
-->Checks all the boxes when it comes to specifications you would want in a phone
-->Price
Cons:
Does not run latest version of Android (comes with Android 2.2 Froyo)
Expensive accessories
Download speeds highly dependant upon your geographic area and were not impressive in our testing.
Conclusion
The Motorola Atrix 4G won the best in show at CES 2011 for its ability to transform from smartphone to laptop to media center. Road warriors, especially those with an expense account, will appreciate the expandability thanks in part to the variety of manufactured designed accessories not currently available for any other smartphone. What might get lost is the quality of the Atrix 4G as a phone. With impressive specs and performance, the Motorola Atrix 4G stands out among the rest.
how about multitasking?
Great review (almost seems like something off Engadget (though I know its off another forum). Everything seems to be to spec (as I own an Atrix). One thing you left off however, is that it gonna get Android 2.4 at one point later this year, as well as a camcorder update to 1080p in a later software update... Check the wikipedia article on the Atrix

Huh... well that's interesting. Too bad it doesn't have paypal checkout, then I'd have gone for it and not have to worry about it being legit or not. Anyone that can verify this??
I wouldnt trust a company that opts out of resellerratings.
They seems to have poor ratings as it is and they no longer participate for the same. I wont risk it.
Give them a call or check out their location. That's the only way to really tell.
but $499 instead of pounds plus next day delivery is so very tempting.. lol
I know in Manhattan, there are a lot of shady electronics stores, but I read many folks favoring Electroprise and and many where folks warned to stay away from the owners of this store, lol. I don't know what's best. I can't call them right now since I'm out of town, but if there is anyone in the vicinity that can confirm, that would be great.
as I said in another thread, I called and they said they were out of stock. Told me to check back Monday.
Sounds very sketchy

Of course it's tempting, that's the idea.
Think about it for a second. $500.00 for a phone of this caliber that's not even available in the states.
You'll never see the phone from them, not in a million years.

I know how you feel, and in India it's just about the same as the UK. Something is fishy here, isn't it? $499 dollars is darn cheap. Can we be sure the store-manager did not mistaken 499 pounds as dollars when he priced the darn device in the first place?
BTW, the specifications (with old information) are directly pasted from GSMArena!

There still seems to be some question as to whether the phone will have all the 3G bands on all of the devices. Expansys said theirs is dual band. Havn't seen any confirmation on this anywhere yet and its something you might want to check before you drop coin.
oh well if its not in stock then no point cause clove and other guyswill have it early next week anyway. although if this was reliable it'd be $200 cheaper.
i see they priced Optimus 2x and Xperia arc more? Hmm fishy..
