What is the best Alarm App.. I have some but i'm not satisfy..
Thanks
Math Alarm
I use Math Alarm.
Other alarms did wake me up... eventually. I just kept snozzing the default android one.
This alarm however requires you to do a simple (or hard if you choose) maths problem in order to snooze or disable the alarm.
There is a great review i found on Google about this app. Just search for "Math Alarm Android Review".
Well worth the price IMO.
I like Alarm Master.. It depends on what you are looking for, and personal preference I suppose though.
Alarm Klock is the best of the rest.
i actually need good working alarm, i dont want to sleep over for my work )
i had several but i don't like..
will try those
anyone else?
Kind of hard to say until you tell us what you don't like about the default one... otherwise, people may just recommend ones with the same features that you don't like.
i just need alarm that actually works no matter the look or other functions

Is it possible to disable phone wake up when a new message comes in? I want wake up to be enabled when a call is coming, but not for text messages. I think there are some "scripts" in the registry to control the ringing-behaviour and these involve wake up. Is it possible to modify this setting specifically for SMS/MMS?

What does it do to achieve it? I don't like XperiaTweak too much, I don't think it's a very good piece of SW. And it means one app more.
it does what you have asked.

Doesn't sound like it's working well for them. Are you sure this is the same thing that XperiaTweak does?
Have you tried applying the registry tweak mentioned in the threads? It was what you were looking for, wasn't it?
HK_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL
Select "New" D_Word and you will be asked to enter the details :
Top portion just enter : DisableSMSWakeUpEvent
and bottom portion just enter the value : 1

I have a T-mobile TP2 and im looking for two cabs, one where i can have a alarm that will work even when the phone is on silent/vibrate and one where i can turn off 3g on the fly. thanks in advance
Try looking here.

I think Klaxon works even when the phone is on silent/vibrate.
And I believe WkTask will let you turn off the 3g

I just commented on this a few minutes ago in another thread.
To disconnect data at will, look here:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Phone]
"Flags2"=dword:0000000A
This does 2 things:
1: Puts a disconnect button in the Connections Popup via the taskbar
2: Disconnects data using the END key ONLY when in the default position on the Today screen.
For the Alarm, do you want the alarm to be a sound? Because most alarm apps will force audio on. But if you are wanting a Vibrating alarm... then CradleAlarm. Right now I use "Touch Alarm" because it is simple and easy and works very very well.

As you may already know, the tones that came with the HD2 are lame So for ring tone, I use one of my fav songs. But I have trouble picking a tone for sms. I've searched the forum but most of the links offer cheesy sms tones like "hey baby" or something. So, does anyone know where can i get some classy sms tones? Thanks.
Weeell...
My idea of classy might be quite different to yours but check the link in my sig.. you might find something there.......
You can pretty much set any sound you want as long as you can get a hold of it on your computer, just cut out the part you want, save it as a .wav file and throw it in your /windows directory...
Theres plenty of free .wav editing software on download.com or other such sites.......

I have just remastered all the Street Fighter II Turbo sounds for my HD2.
I have 'Hadouken!' for SMS, 'Shoryuken!' for e-mail and 'Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku!' for MMS, and I use this for a ring tone!
Loads of good free ringtones here:

Or you can try these........ they're not the best but hey..............

Best ringtone site on the net bar none. There aren't many ringtones and message tones that haven't been uploaded by someone.
EDIT - make sure you change the search to audiko from the default Google search.

Here you go, I have remastered it for my phone so I have changed the volume level to suit my preference, if it's not quite right let me know and I'll redo it for you so it's a bit louder/quieter.

Today I realized that the calendar tone in my Galaxy S was way too short and that it only played once. After looking through all the menus I had to ask my friend Google and I was chocked to find out that it's not possible to change the tone in Galaxy S.
Is this really true? And what's worse is that the function is available in vanilla Android. How can they remove something useful and dont replace it with something better, or at least ANYTHING?
I tried Calendar Snooze but it wasnt that good. All I want is to be able to change tone and also so it will keep playing until I do something.
if you use the forum search button you will find that it has been discussed and solved already. it should be in this forum or the vibrant forum
