I did a bad back-up from my original Rom.
And now 2.1 is in the air, i would like to have the original rom back.. if somebody can help me ?
The S/N from my phone is HT98ZL900286
The official HTC site dont give me a working update for my divice..
I would like it to have it on this version.
2.73.405.5 ( ready to update ===> 2.1 )

Worst case you will have to update via Goldcard.
Anyway, I don't think it's a good idea to publish s/numbers.
i did try all official HTC's on this forum.

Even though HTC removed the link from their website, the ORIGINAL file is still in the same place!!

How about that? I was for 2 hours trying to find it and could only find crappy patches with weird roms and utilities to bypass... that DO NOT WORK in Vista 64.
Dunno why nobody posted the original file? Its just run & upgrade, no need for workarounds...

Hi, can anyone get me an original PTG ROM for Artemis? I cant seem to find any working link and although I read the tutorial on how to backup my ROM (the original one) I am affraid I cannot do it myself... or on my own...
I have had problems before and had to send it for repair twice, but I don't wantto send it with another ROM, they might say it was that that chrashed it, or say it voided the warranty...
Please help me....

There is no upgrade for SEA.
HTC's fantastic support...
Use the cooked ROMs available. So many good designer ROMs available in the forum. Way better than HTC's.

Just dl the file from the link given. You have to sw off ur device and remove ur battery to see ur s/n. Thank you for the link.

i dunno why i have been upgrade to this bt have been comes out some prob ..
then curser dint work proberly .. once u turn off un activities then cannot be turn it back on .. sometimes the conectivities also have some problem .. mostly after install for the frist few day is ok bt after the next few day's the problem come out quickly .. usually this rom update is for htc p3651 is not for htc p3650.. pls note this .. once install the rom the most likely prob is the scroll prob and hang about 2 second once u open a new program .. anyone who have the same prob ?? anyone who can help ?? i was installing the 1 which b4 this rom was update .. any comment on that rom pls let me know or u may sent me private msg this would help me much coz i'm new to tis forum so thanks alot

I've asked HTC Tech Support, they replied that there are no updates for my device. Even if the newer ROMs are installed right now in just assembled phones. So it looks like I have two options:
- Buy newer Rose;
- Get ROM dump from other user and flash mine.
For me both solutions are not user-friendly. HTC is too busy with making new Android phones to even care for users like me. I wonder, how much time would take to add a ROM dump for upload on their web page? 5 minutes? They already have those ROMs, so what's the problem?

Apparently for some unknown and bizarre reason my phone is Eastern Europe Edition and because of that there are no updates for now.
yaa.. its stupid i to have too same version of rose.. i love it but it have big bugs! and htc wont fix it ;/ what we have to do if flash other roms its illegal

there are a set of tools available under "itsutils" these tools allow you to back up ur rom...you'll need to find instructions they prob under blackstone rom section

Change your date to about a month forward and you should see the update (if your provider has released it).
O wait you're on a generic rom. Maybe change the rom to an official from your provider and then wait for the update.

choice 1: download offical update of 2.1 from pc and install it directly
choice 2:hack your device,but a little complex make gold card(gold card is a special tf card which have some codes and program that could approve you to flash any custome rom ) how to make gold card you could look up some information,I have some chinese information,but I think it's so difficult for you to read them.
If you have root,it's more easy,download rom,press home+ power to get into Recovery ,use recovery to backup your original rom,then wipe all ,and then flash your new rom,reboot system.
some device will notify you to update rom,but official rom i think it will forbbiden you root your device,it's not convenient. using the modified edition is recommended.
I used the Goldcard method my my 3 UK Hero then loaded the official 2.1 ROM downloaded from the HTC website. Very simple to do, as said you can also have a look for Universal Androot and go down the root path.
