ROM updates / whats new in them?

Hello i just upgraded my QTEK from ROM Version 3.14.06 ENG to ROM Version 3.16.13 ENG and from Radio Version T313 to Radio Version 3.19.01. Everything worked fine and the ROM and the RSU were upgraded with success but idnt find any deffrence the device is still the same as for the GPRS i was hopping that when the device goes to standby it wont disconnect. Any idea what are the changes in the new ROM i have installed and the bugs that were fixed. If there is new ROM updates then the one i got from qtek.dk where are theyand will they work on my QTEK 1010 32MB.

as I said... 3.16.43 is unofficial and I can't share it... 3.15.15 is out there somewhere (use the Search function )

Hi again i can find the new ROM versions that you instructed me to use instead of the ones i download it. Can you provide me with a direct URL to download the 3.15.15 + 4.16 ROM and will they replace the 3.16.13 Version.

to upgrade your qtek before?

Please be very careful how you give out information.
You have screwed up I believe many people who got
their device frozen and cannot be used after trying to
upgrade the ROM and Radio Stack from the website
you provide without warning people of the serious
damage it could cause if the Rom & Radio Stack
upgrade is not from the same source.
It is good that you are trying to help people but I hope
you could continue doing it BUT please give a complete

I expect people who buy this device to have a certain amount of IQ. Everybody knows flashing them IS dangerous, so they should know as much as possible on the item.
Before I flashed the device for the first time, I've already read EVERYTHING which is in the ROM Upgrade forum and everything which mentions ROM on this site. I knew which is the best, I knew where to get it, I knew I can screw it up and I knew how to NOT screw it.
It's peoples fault if they brick their units.

i dont know where to start with this but i should agree with Zviratko 100%
we expect people who buy this devices to have a certain amount of IQ and knowledge most of us here are pros.
Please understand that if you dont know what you are dealing with dont bother doing it. Read all the forums and pages of Xda-developers they contain the biggest archives about those products, learn then apply.
Zviratko is one of these important resources learn from him i know i did!

Re qtek 1010 rom update
could you please tell me where you got your rom update from. I have been tearing my hair off trying to get the right update. Some genius upgraded using the O2 upgrade and killed his QTEK.

T-MOBILE 4.01.16 ROM

My dad just bought a tmobile Pocket PC. Before upgrading his phone with a custom ROM from Lumpistefan''s kitchen, I saved a copy of the original ROM in BootLoader format.
I have the new T-MOBILE WM 2003 ROM 4.01.16, as currently shipping from T-MOBILE.
(Phone's build date is 5/2004, ROM 4.01.16)
If anyone has webspace they could donate, I'll supply the rom so others can stop looking and just download it.
PM me if you want to help the cause, I'm only gonna upload it once to whoever wants to host it.

I'm registering in xda-developer because I've bad thing with the combination of ROM v.401.16 ENG (t-mOBILE) and Wallaby 5.17
Since it success installed, it won't be upgradable again! Sure...!
Until now my XDA cannot be upgrade or downgrade to another ROM version!!!
aNY one have the ideas...??

Use the cooked ROMs available. So many good designer ROMs available in the forum. Way better than HTC's.

Just dl the file from the link given. You have to sw off ur device and remove ur battery to see ur s/n. Thank you for the link.

why is it only for south east Asian countries?I'm in Iran and I couldn't access the file because of my serial number.I used direct link to download the stuff but is there any particular reason or any problem with it?the original windows mobile 6.1 from htc was a crap.it's slooooow! i dunno why i have been upgrade to this bt have been comes out some prob ..
then curser dint work proberly .. once u turn off un activities then cannot be turn it back on .. sometimes the conectivities also have some problem .. mostly after install for the frist few day is ok bt after the next few day's the problem come out quickly .. usually this rom update is for htc p3651 is not for htc p3650.. pls note this .. once install the rom the most likely prob is the scroll prob and hang about 2 second once u open a new program .. anyone who have the same prob ?? anyone who can help ?? i was installing the 1 which b4 this rom was update .. any comment on that rom pls let me know or u may sent me private msg this would help me much coz i'm new to tis forum so thanks alot

I did a bad back-up from my original Rom.
And now 2.1 is in the air, i would like to have the original rom back.. if somebody can help me ?
The S/N from my phone is HT98ZL900286
The official HTC site dont give me a working update for my divice..
I would like it to have it on this version.
2.73.405.5 ( ready to update ===> 2.1 )

Have you looked at HTC France?
Worst case you will have to update via Goldcard.
Anyway, I don't think it's a good idea to publish s/numbers.

i did try all official HTC's on this forum.
non of it works on my hero, every time, not the correct version..

I suggest installing 2.73.405.5 using Goldcard:

On the download page, to the right of the serial no. input box, you should have
"Where do I find the Product S/N?" label. Click it for instructions.

I think he wants someone else's S/N who has been able to download the ROM, so he can use that S/N too.

it's just for a few CEE countries and Greece, don't see any arabic ROM there

the ROM On this site (sunnysoft) is not match the ROM that this thread start for that ROM is for Europa and this ROM is for Asia.

Since you are not doing spam, I doubt the MODs would get upset if you put the link but strategically put a couple of extra spaces in it - ie: ww w.rapid share. com/blahblahblah.html

Try to search for a serial for GCC & Egypt. Thats what I did. ROM seems to be okay. I don't really know what the changes are. I cam from 1.66.405 I think.

Rom Release 1.66.415.9 for HD2
If any one has tried the ROM, let me know whether its in English with Arabic support or ONLY Arabic?
HTC website is not clearly mentioning the type of ROM
