Yes me too. Got mine from devicewire (still have about 60 in stock if anyone wants one), but then due to a misunderstanding with Clove found out that they are also sending me one out and have already charged my card! Not sure if its coming tomorrow as well, if not I'm hoping I can cancel. I'm not even sure I can afford to go home and be killed by my missus. Still, what she doesnt know wont hurt her. Just need to sell my eee pc and HTC S730 that I bought last week now.
So Clove actually have stock now? They haven't updated their website.

Yeah they have stock although not sure if its for people who have already pre-ordered. Devicewire.com do have 60 free stock (available to everyone). Luckily as I work in mobile technology I can claim that my many devices are 'from work'.
I also have two on order, one from clove and one from expansys-usa. I think the clove will get here first and then I can cancel the one from expansys. This will be the second from expansys that I have canceled.
Managed to cancle my Clove one although wish that had come first as it was cheaper.

HTC Shift in a London Store (INKINO again!!!)
Just a quick heads-up. Inkino have their stock in and also have one HTC Shift out on demo. It is better then I expected. Surfing was very quick and they let me try it with my SIM card so that there was no 'smoke and mirrors'. There is a nice protective case in the box too. The actual box looks like a big box of chocolate so sneaking it past the missus should be a breeze....
I witnessed 5 going out of the door whilst I was there so it is safe to say that this is going to be a hugely popular machine. Any voicecall hacks yet??
For those who are not aware, Inkino are at 48 Tottenham Court Road and 9 Great Russell Street in Central London and also at www.inkino.co.uk I have no business connection with these guys apart from being an addicted customer who appreciates the old-school style of service.

Just a question for all of those people who pre-ordered online at Rogers.com. When you finish pre-ordering, you should have gotten a confirmation email. Did you get any other emails like a shipping with a tracking number?
I got the confirmation email and that's it. I was just wondering if others is the same as me.

Yeah I preordered on april 6. Got a confirmation number in an email right away. I called today and so far no tracking numbers are available. I am waiting till dinner time and Im going to try again. I just want this phone so bad
How did you order it? Every time I try to port my number from Fido it gives me an error. Rogers gives me some BS on the phone and I give up. I think they are goign to show up in the stores on Friday but noone knows. Total bloody incompetence with Rogers once again.

Im adding a line instead of porting over (and keeping the second line to shorten the time between upgrades) but a rep told me you could preorder now and finish up the port after you get the phone. BUT beware Rogers reps are full of bs and you will get different answers everytime you call.
Yea, the rep told me to pre-order with a new number and when I get the phone, phone them and do the port over then.
It just bothers me that there is a possibility of getting the phone AFTER it launches (April 15, 2010). If so, then what's the point of me pre-ordering other than getting the bt headset for free.

What?? If I get it after the 15th I am going to s**t bricks. And people are dissappointed with SE's delays. Its seems like a match made in heaven SE and Rogers lol.
PS: did you see the fine print? Your going to have to wait an additional 2-4 weeks for delivery of the headset.

Yea well HOPEFULLY we all get it ON or BEFORE the 15th. Anyday after that would be stupid. The Rogers stores will probably have it on the 15th since I read some article stating that the phone is shipping to stores. If that's the case, that means even though we preordered, we won't be the first ones to get it =(

I talked to a store today in Calgary here that had a rep in at the time and they said the phones were in shipment right now to the stores for Friday (as stated before). I would rather order it online for the headset but am worried about a delay. You would think you would get it SOONER that way, especially considering they said order it by the 9th for delivery on the 12th LOL. Oh Rogers.
I talked to one of the rep at rogers and they told me they are getting it next month O_O
lol that's totally wrong..
But yea.. I guess the idea of pre-ordering is so that you WILL get it on launch day at least.

Haha, this is good ... for me at least ... i'll have time to decide if is worth to pay 550 + tax to get it.
So I just spoke with a supervisor and he said that he promised me it would be in my hands by this friday. I asked him why I would preorder just so I could get it after everyone else. He responded that for preordering we are getting a $10 activation credit and the headset for free and locking in a "supposedly" better price. And they also said I would get emailed a tracking number as soon as its available. Got my fingers crossed it comes this week!

I did and he confirmed they had them in stock, but my order is still in review. I'll feel better when my order goes through and they send me the tracking.

Just talked to Martin at GSMnation. Mine wont ship until Friday. They have had 50-60 orders for this phone in two days. Apparently they've been shipping them out this week, Hopefully BagOfSnakes got his in a lot earlier than my order so he gets his by Friday.

I've been keeping a close eye on the internets and comparing online retailers. I posted the day they put the Arc up for sale. Unless they had tons of preorders we should be the first few. But I don't even think they had a North American Arc up for preorder at all. They already charged my CC too. That better mean they actually have the phone in their possession to be sent.
I contacted their live chat today and asked about the Silver color. They said that they plan on selling the silver color soon and he advised me to check back next week.
Just wanted to share this info in case people are interested in the silver like I am.

I spoke to the SE folks last month and they mentioned that they did not have a release date for the US. They mentioned that it was going on sale in Canada towards the end of April and that an unlocked version would be available in Canada towards the mid-end May timeframe.
Hopefully, the information I got was incorrect and you guys get your phone soon!

Well, their website says "In Stock - Ships within 24-48 hours". So hopefully you should get yours no later than Tuesday.
YEA i spoke to them this morning and he told me the phone was in stock. i asked him when is my order being ship he said 24/48(ordered mine last night) hours to process orders so looks like im getting it next week ... i also asked the guy for the SGS2 he said it was schedule to arrive this week or latest next one...

Hey guys has anyone had any details about ASDA dispatching the xperia z preorders?
I'm pretty sure that when i selected the free delivery option, that it mentioned something about it being a guaranteed delivery date of 28th Feb. Does anyone else remember anything similar?
I ordered on the 14th of Feb.
Mine is sitting on 'Back Order' haven't heard anything from ASDA.
Mine says this on the tracking system:
Awaiting Stock - We're waiting for stock of all these items to become available. As soon as these items leave our warehouse and are their way to you we'll send you an email to let you know.
But even if they get stock tomorrow i doubt they can get it to me the same day
It's wishful thinking, but hopefully they're just crap at keeping the website updated. Mine reads the same as others.
Going to be mighty annoyed if I don't get it tomorrow. I never go to Asda for anything - supermarket or online - they're not doing a great job of turning me around...

I've rang them 3 times today and been told something different every time! The one said it was out of stock when I ordered, another one said tomorrow and then the third one said a couple of weeks

I spoke to them about 6pm and was told "your order isn't showing as back ordered on my screen. You see the phone isn't released untill tomorrow, so it can't be dispatched before then. If it doesn't say dispatched by this time tomorrow, call us back"
This was after I'd already explained the guaranteed 28th Delivery. Not holding my breath for getting it on release day. Even though the accessory pack was a big bonus, I picked Asda because no other site had commited to a delivery date at that point. Seems like another examine of Asda over promising and under delivering.

I saw some sites got their deliveries late and had to dispatch on the 28th, i wonder if maybe this was the same for asda.
Mine still says on backorder. Just went through the process of ordering again to see if there were any delivery options this time and there were options to leave with neighbours etc. This wasn't an option when pre ordered. I am not sure if it means anything though.
I have seen on game forums that asda have form for this sort of thing too. Gonna see if I can find more info.

Where does it say that Sony are offering free headphones?
Update: just got off the phone with asda, while my order still says on back order, they're are saying that they have the phone in stock (as reflected on the site) and awaiting dispatch. Though I'm not certain I completely trust that!
The asda website looks like they've done a hasty removal job of anything to do with the preorder, so much that they still have photos of the preorder accessories, with absolutely no mention of coming with any.
I wouldn't imagine anyone would have felt the need to take proof of them promising delivery today, but it was plastered all over the site. It was even in the hidden T&Cs regarding the accessory pack saying you wouldn't actually get the dock and case today, something along the lines of "on 28th February you will receive the Bluetooth speaker, and a voucher for the case and dock redeemable from Sony stores"
The phone is being advertised as "in stock" for new orders, so I've got my fingers crossed that they are just being really poor at updating people's accounts.

I just remember it being mentioned when in the checkout process, i have searched online and others have mentioned the guaranteed delivery date for game pre-orders form asda direct in the past.

I've decided to cancel my preorder with asda and get them directly from sony with the free headphones (which more then makes up for the extra £29). Though I'll probably sell the headphones.
Though even the order cancellation is a hassle, apparently it has to be passed to a "technical team" and will take 24 to 48 hours for an email to come through stating the order has been cancelled.... I don't think I'll ever use asda again!
Can't believe the way ASDA have handled this pre-order. Even their website shows 'in stock', but my order still says 'back order'!! Im on hold to speak to a manager!

The manager gave me a £40 e-voucher for the inconvenience. Ordered with Sony directly, with free headphones!
This doesn't happen very often, but i just spoke to a phones4u employee who actually seemed to know what he was talking about, and he replied to one of my questions with "im sorry but i dont know" which implies to me that he aint making stuff up lol. Anyway as i believe he knew what he was on about heres what he said (still take with pinch of salt tho)
"we recieved limited stock on the 11th which we thought were for delivery on the 14th but sony delayed them and we are not allowed to deliver them until the 17th, we are getting more stock on the 17th which will be delivered on the 22nd"
He then went on to tell me that my order was due to be delivered on the 22nd, when i asked if he how much stock they recieved on the 11th he replied
"sorry but i dont know........ i havent had to tell anyone they will be recieving this phone on the 17th, so maybe they haven't allocated them yet"
So there you have it, like i said take it with a pinch of salt but he seemed a lot more 'on the ball' than all the other idiots ive had to speak to. Shame i wont be able to fiddle with it over the bank holiday weekend but nevermind. Post here if you get one thursday.

Yeah that sucks, still on awaiting stock, i suppose i did get loads of cashback on mine though, so an extra few days isnt the end of the world, just sucks so much -.- considering the website states delivery of tomorrow =/

i just checked there site, still dont actually say dispatched yet but my hopes are building as there general next day delivery terms say if ordered by 6pm, and mine changed at 5.09pm..... yeah i seen a post by you regarding cashback..... you're up t 200 aint ya? i only getting 75

Mine is on its way! checked my emails this morning and had an email from DPD to say its been dispatched and due for delivery today!
Phones4U page must have just messed up and not updated.
Roll on 5pm til i finish work!

shotgun, i envy you so much right now, i phoned dpd yesterday when tracking showed my phone had started its journey to me, but the guy i spoke to reckoned i couldnt collect it from the depot this morning as it wont arrive there until tomorrow, so far according to tracking it left leceister 6pm yesterday, birmingham hub 2 about 8pm, birmingham hub 3 at 9ish n thats it, arrrrrgh........
