This one?
If so, that's xmoo... He's on here too.
Footprints is included in the T-MoUS stock ROMs.

foot prints exists from the first release of hd2
I've always had footprints on mine. Why would they add something that already exists.
PS
damn hoss beat me to it
Didn't really see anything different from what we normally have. Hopefully it will increase the over all speed of the phone.
Why is HTC still messing around with 6.5, are then intending to release 6.5.x next year? This is one thing I will surely not miss, HTC taking their sweet time providing updates that are on their own devices.
if you look through the ext package versions theyre mostly older or same as what is in 2.13 rom.
oh and dont go flashing it, save yourself a world of anguish. Notice the warning
NOT FOR LEO1.5!!! NOT FOR TMOUS!!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=696848
footprints is already on the stock rom since the tmo hd2 shipped, but is hidden by default. go into the options to arrange the tabs in sense and you can turn it on if you like

Yep if you will search you´ll find cabs of .30 (older) and also .38 (newer) Manila, but in the newer one are missing "slide" animations (between tabs) and also this installation takes some memory
ohhh i did come across that...so Manilla is the touchflo3d...gotcha thanks...is this info in the wiki? i didnt recall seeing it...
Does anyone know if the the HD will be compatible with the new TF3d? If im not mistaken HTC usually updates the phones when a new version of its UI comes out, but has there been any official word for the HD?
I like the HD, but the new UI (particular the contacts) is so much better than the vanilla wm6.1 version.

The answer is a definite yes.
Check out Dutty's 1.8 Extreme ROM, he already has the HD running on the new version of TF3D I've been using it for a few days now and it's very good..
TF3d v2 only
Is it possible to get only the TF3D v2 cab?

A wild guess: He has access to a Diamond 2 or Touch Pro 2 ROM The hardware of the HD is practicaly identical as well as the screen resolution so porting if any would be limited to disabling any eventual hardware checks for the particular device.
Have you ever wondered how we already have WinMo 6.5 for our devices while it's still at least 6 months away from market It was the same with 6.0 and 6.1
Anyone found a CAB for the TF3D V.2 for the HD? I don't want to flash my ROM, I haven't done it before and I am a bit iffy about it as I may lose everything on my phone with an hard reset. Anyone out there?
Bump! Anyone can help?

I see what you mean, I would like to have it also!
I guess we just have to flash our ROMs. LOL.
As far as I know, there are no cabs for TF3D V.2 (manila v3) and there aren't any in the making (and there won't, as I don't believe it's possible to intergrate the neccessary changes without cooking them into the ROM).
If you want it, you're gonna have to flash to a cooked ROM (or maybe an htc ROM if they choose to ever release one).
Sorry
I now know. If it was available, I am sure the cheifs here would of done one already. I just don't understand why HTC won't update these UIs for free. Free upgrades to the newest TF3D will be great and will create more loyal users. As most users won't change their phones every year. They will feel happier if they can just update the UI and use it as a new phone once in a while. I think free upgrades for phones up to 3 years old is a cool idea.
Hi guys as many of you may already know, with the release of the new Touch Pro & Diamond, HTC is releasing a new Touchflo version with many new features (see video)
http://www.intomobile.com/2009/02/19/htc-touchflo-3d-walkthrough-video-new-and-improved.html
I was wondering is any of you have knows where to get it from, or when will it be released. I am aware of xda ROM's such as dutty's XTREME, etc. However am not in the position to sacrifice performance & stability for a beta. Moreover dont have the time to be messing with the phone. Therefore I rather stick to the original release.
I will keep looking around for more info, if any of u have any thoughts on this matter lets share.
Take care guys, adn thanks in advance.
.
Agree with you. Would be fun with a little updating tf3d

It's probably more an IF then a WHEN
but the wiki
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Blackstone_Ship_exe
keeps a list of official roms so I guess just keep on checking that
Most of the "new" features have already been implimented in the touch HD initial release. the only thing i really need is the calendar tab - and that was added to all the new cooked rom's.
In short - I don't really see anything new in this tf3d...
as for using a "beta" rom - I've been running the Dutty V2.1 extreme for the past few days - and it's running perfectly (anther chance to thank Dutty for all the hard work...)
So - i'd say - not "if" but "why not"... just flash Dutty - and you get all you want...
Alternative
What about that, while waiting for a integrated TF3D Rom ?

Okay, so you're aware of Dutty's ROM. Well, it's the same software you're reading about. It may never be released for the HD by HTC since it's meant to complement new hardware models.
I'm running it right now. Using Dutty's. It's great. I'd never even consider going backwards.
Rob
Thanks guys
thank u guys for the info
I really can't find any changes from the original TF3D i currently have on my HD.
It looks the same.
Found this on the HTC site.
(pdf) http://member.america.htc.com/downl...opaz_HTCAsia_English_Telstra_Manual_WM6.5.pdf
Looks nice
Cool discovery
Anything about HTC Sense in it? If the manual is out we can probably expect the ROM itself to be out in a couple of days.

the manual shows manila 2.1 WITHOUT the weather animations... however DOES have facebook integration
Hmm and no Twitter? The D2 isn't exactly an old phone, why aren't we getting the latest features from HTC? I only just brought mine.
heh.
and who woulda thought they would use the Telstra ROM in the American manual for picture demonstrations.
that is a really ugly interface. i can't believe i am trying to get that ROM.
that damn mobile foxtel, and my damn job as a telstra dealer
Yeah i saw the facebook intergration, at last Still got that stupid curtain on the call screen, i thought they had done away with that. Not as exiting as i thought it would be, has half of the featrures of the 6.5.1 rom i tried out.
Manila seems same in Quick Start Guide
I seriously thought we would get Manila 2.5 on our TD2... but I guess WM6.5+Manila 2.5 was too heavy on the phone's ram and processor, manila 2.1 should be good enough after all..
Good to see this. Thanks dude
I just went to the htc uk website and saw that they have released a rom upgrade for O2 users of the phone called 1.72.
Anyone knows if that rom contains WIndows Mobile 6.5.3?
Sure......

No, thank Goodness!
nice/fast/stable
It's running nice/fast/stable on my gf's hd2, but it looks a bit dated once you've tried some of the 6.5.3 roms. Are Microsoft not releasing 6.5.3 to HTC or something? It's really strange that they don't seem to want to promote advances in the OS when android and the like are getting over the air updates to their phones. Little things like the documents tab and the eReader tab from 6.5.3 (plus the fact it's just that little bit more finger friendly) make it all a bit more exciting to show off.
Gotta love my HD2 though Is it true you can't even change the background picture on an iPhone?

nothing to do with microsoft or winmo, that's sense.you can have them tabs on 6.5 if you cook them in.
anyone have issues signing into google maps v4.1? since upgrading ROM i can't sign in, even from the default version on the ROM,version 3.2.1. i can sign into my google account online ok. something is wrong with google maps i believe. any help would be appreciated.
Does anyone know what .net framework is embedded in this ROM?
its cool managed to get .net 3.5 installed again, had to uninstall windows mobile device centre and went into program features and it was there to be reinstalled. All good!
updated to this ROM which is now manika 2012, but the home/today screen won't rotate, i thought it should with this version of manila, or is it a feature of never/custom roms?

I believe this is in custom roms only at the mo.
The HD2 should have been fully landscape supported from the start tbh.
