MT3G (3.5mm) Radios? - myTouch 3G, Magic General

Is there anywhere that states what radios are compatible with this device?
Can I use the 3.22 or the 6.35 Radios? I should be able to if I have the right SPL correct?
I have tried to use ROMs that are for the 3.22 radio, and it doesnt boot.

Be careful when flashing other radios. You may brick your phone. For the Fender devices, I don't believe there are other radios at this time.

Downgrade radio

Hi, i am having problems with the losing signal on my g1
I wanted to try to downgrade to an older radio
I am using the hardspl and the latest cyangenrom, will it cause any problem if i just install the older 22.19.23 radio?
would I need to install the cyangenrom again or do a wipe?
Cheers
Don't quote me on this, but I've heard about people that bricked their phones when they try to downgrade.
I could be wrong, but I'm just letting you know what I heard.

Yeah you will brick if you're running Hayhuro's new SPL, so you would first need to downgrade the SPL then the radio (don't quote me on that though).
Also the new radio was meant for cupcake 1.5, so in theory downgrading to the 1.1 radio you would be causing more problems.

[Q] Need Perfected SPL to boot mytouch 3g 1.2?

So I was considering on flashing pershoot's new kernel for 32B phones that includes the radio to see if there was any difference; however this is a caveat with that and Pershoot notes that in order for it to work I must have the right combo which includes "new" SPL and radio 2708. My phone, mytouch 3g 1.2, comes with the perfected SPL and my question is, as the title says, do I need the perfected SPL to boot up my phone or can I use the "new" SPL?
You can't use any radio/SPL combo with your phone besides what you have or your phone will not work properly, and you'll risk bricking it.

mytouch using 32a radio to run 32a roms?

is it possibly to install a 32a radio and spl on the mytouch to then run 32a roms?

Not on a 32B/Fender phone.
It might be possible with a certain spl and radio combination (ref here)... but EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! I really won't recommend it.

think its a dev phone that will work properly without the perfect spl
well if there is what are some rom that will run on a engineering spl or better yet
what engineering spl will run on cm6.1
thank in advance
Please go read up on the mytouch 1.2.... there was no Eng SPL for this phone. You must run 1.33.0013/1.33.0013d. Any other SPL and the phone will not fully function.

I'd use any of the 3 radios below.

Welcome to the Eugenia Radios Project Thread!
So... I've extracted the Radio ROMs from all the HTC stock ROMs out there and I'm giving you the download link for these, in case you want to flash only the RADIO ROM!

You can use any radio above 2.06.50 safely on a T-Mobile HD2.
Just download the one you want, turn your phone off, then turn it on while holding the vol-down button, then run the RUU from your pc.
EDIT: ALSO, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT FLASH ANY RADIO WITH A .51 IN IT. ONLY .50

You are running Android so just go to Setting>scroll all the way down to About phone> Baseband version. The Base band version is actually your Protocol version and Radio version. I will use mine for example.
Blue= Protocol version Red=Radio version
15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14

Hope this helped.

If would not have to reflash the same radio, that won't help anything.
You could change your radio to a different one, "upgrade" doesn't really mean anything, sometimes the 2.12.50 radio gives better reception than the 2.15.50 radio depending on location and ROM, so check your current version as above poster mentioned and flash a different one to see if it helps.
