I have only one question!
i could get a htc hero tmobile branded (t-mobile g2touch)
but i use orange
i think there was no simlock at htc magic (t-mobile g1)
does anybody know if there is a simlock on htc hero tmobile branded?
maybe someone could help me!
or is it hard to unlock it?

yes, the orange and t-mobile heros are locked to those networks.
there is a thread somewhere here about unlocking, and i think a few people have alredy done that through unlock-now.com ( I think).
have a search for 'unlock' in all the hero forums as i cant remember what the thread is called exactly....

but there are 2 htc heroes to select
first: SIM Unlock T-Mobile G1 Touch (HTC Hero)
second: SIM Unlock HTC Hero (HTC Hero)
i think i have to choose the first one..
but in austria the name of the pohne is T-Mobile G2 Touch.. do you think it will work correctly?

dunno about austria, but in the uk tmobile lock their phones.
if i could afford it, id get the htc branded one!

Hi you can unlock your mobile by unlock codes and when you unlock your mobile you can use any provider's SIM in your mobile without any restriction..try Unlocking4u to get unlock code for your mobile and get it unlocked..

Hi all. Question: I bought a HTC Touch Pro locked to Alltel. I bought it off of eBay from Gazelle (seller). Question: I will unlock it for it to use my T-Mo Sim card, what version of HTC Network Wizard do I need to install to set all of the connections up? Can I use the same one as I used on HTC P4351? Hi guys, I am new and I apologize in advance if I am posting in wrong section. I bought HTC HD2 unlocked in USA and have windows 6.5 on it. Now I am in India using Vodafone company for phone and internet. Here in India they say I need internet setting for the internet to work on my cell phone. Customer care don't even know of HTC and they say they don't know how to help me. Someone please help me get the internet setting so I can use the internet on my HTC HD2. Thanks a lot in advance.
Hey all, I recently bought a hd2 that was locked to T-Mobile UK, and so I paid to have it unlocked at a shop nearby, I wanted to use my 3 sim card on it as I still had a contract going on it, and everything works okay except when I try and connect to 3g I only get T-Mobile internet which I think is costing me money any ideas on how to connect to 3's 3g network? The phone does say I'm connected to 3 when 3g is switched off also I'm currently running winmo 6.5 but planning on dualbooting android and wp7 asap, if that's of any significance
Try to run Connection Wizard/Set Up! That should change your APN ;-) I know that Android and WP7 on HD2 change those settings easier... And WP7 rocks ;-)
