[PROBLEM] FM_Radio_2_5_20141928_00 - Windows Mobile

Hi,
got a weird thing happening with the FM_Radio_2_5_20141928_00 radio package. When cooked the app starts but no gfx are displayed.
If I cook FM_Radio_2_5_19194027_01 and install the 2014 one as a cab it works fine.
One big difference are the gfx. The older FM Radio has bmp's where the new one uses png's.
This is the package I am using http://rapidshare.com/files/385070454/FM_Radio_2_5_20141928_00.7z
The radio looks like this

I hope its something very basic I am missing.
Thanks

it seems to be missing the bmp files referenced to in the app.reg

Weird though... the package is taken straight from the huashan OEM. Nothing changed.
But it would explain why installing via cab over the older version worked.

It's probably the initflashfile entries that refer to .bmp's
You have the original initflashfiles.dat from Huashan?
Edit, indeed in the rgu are references to bmps, sorry my bad.

Well thats exactly what is causing the headaches.
This package is as is from the Huashan OEM posted somewhere around here. No modifications.
Why would the rgu/reg reference to files that are not in the package to start of with?

Should be fixed ext package
http://www.4shared.com/file/8dX21_D5/FM_Radio_2_5_20141928_00.html
Can not test. Unfortunately doesn't launch with the T-mobile stock 6.5 rom.

Easy. These OEMs from Huashan is still in early test stage and they are not finished.

Probably someone tried to fix it using a earlier .reg
Btw placing the bmps in does fix the package but it doesn't find any radiostation here.

New HTC camera 6.8

Here is the link of the new HTC camera from raphael (build 32018) OEM packages-
http://rapidshare.com/files/147099153/Raphael_CAMERA.rar
Works with- Kaiser, Polaris (confirmed)
Other devices are being tested.
Plz report about issues. works best with 3mp cameras. supports QVGA devices.
This OEM files are for those who cook roms. Camera doesnt work on simply coping these files in windows folder. if u hav done that mistake then delete the 'camera.exe' in your windows folder with file explorer to get your camera working again.
anyway of packing it into a CAB file?
Edit: also copied the OEM files to my tilt and my camera wouldnt work
coping only the OEM files wont do the job. it is for the cooks. may be some one can provide a cab?

do you think at&t's still on track with end of oct release date? i hope so but i have my doubts...
For the ones that are asking for a cab file. When you extract the rar file, you can put all files in your Device to the Windows folder.
is there a difference in light reduction, nightshoot and speed? speed is the main problem with the Polaris' camera.
i did that with my tilt but it would give me an error everytime i tried to open the camera app

Sorry, I am not running a ROM with Sense 2.5 and therefore don't have a way to determining how the icons need to be sized, etc, nor a way of testing.
Looks good....nice job!
Updated to work with stock slider tab. Please read instructons on the website carefully!
Do you have any idea why this slider cab is not working on nrgz his roms?
In the manilla settings tab it says it is version 2.1 compressed.
Probably because it is compressed.
Let me compress them and I will PM you a link so you can test.
Compressed versions now available on the website.
Please let me know how they work !!
hey the new icons dont appear unless i hover over them..otherwise its the original icons.
Hmmm.. that is a strange one.
Are you using a transparent tab?
Can you provide a screen shot please?

Just flashed an Ark666 rom yesterday...
So I will flash back to NRGZ's rom tonight or tomorrow to check it out
And is their any possibility that you can upload the images so the single icons?
This so that we are able to use your slider in every manilla?

Where can i see to fix this one?

maybe restorator does what you want
give it a google and open the program then drop the dll you want in the program and you can see everything in the dll
I already did and this aint an icons inside dll problem since i already change it.
The problem is in the "batterydrv.dll" inside the Kaiser OEM drivers that is set to 10% and since Notification Enhancement read the battery usage from it i need to change some value inside that dll and i cant use restorator for that, i need an Hex Editor....but the problem is that i dunno which key to change
Thanks anyway.

[Solved] How to cook in a self registering dll from a cab file

I have attached the InboxEntender cab that can be found in these forums. I am trying to cook it in to my ROM. The cab file just contains the dll - no reg entries. The dll is set to self-register. If you run the cab after install or even as part of the customization it works fine. I would just like to cook it in if possible. I have tried including it in the build using the convert cab -> EXT function and even converting the dll to a module, both with no success.
Can anyone help me cook this file in. I am using osKitchen to build a Rhodium - or Tilt 2 more specifically - ROM.
Thanks,
cj
Get SK Tracker. Take a snapshot, install the cab, take another snapshot, and then compare them. Export the new registry keys and put them in an app.reg in an EXT with the module.

Here's your EXT package.
Don't just give it to him, for crying out loud! You must've heard the one about giving a guy a fish vs. teaching him to fish. He'll never learn anything if you give him the fish.
Farmer Ted is right but I really appreciate the package Cloudyfa.
I had already compared the registry before and after the install and was not successful. I think that the needed keys were hard to see because the install required a softreset and that in itself changes a bunch of keys.
I was not using (or aware of) SKTracker though and that looks like a better option than what I was using. So thanks to both of you. I am going to try to recreate the package so that I can do it next time. But it is nice to see the answer to check my work.
Thanks again.

just to add, u can open the SafeInboxMenuExtensibility.dll using (text) editor in Unicode encoding & u will see the registry root keys u need to export after cab installation.

[Solved] Working Wi-FiWizard 1_47_5_0 from OBOE

Finally I also decided to ask my first question here since registering.....
Guys, did anybody manage to fix Wi-FiWizard 1_47_5_0 from the last Oboe on Leo?
The problem is that half of the Advanced menu items is invisible.
Below is a screen with a problem menu.
Any help - appreciated.
If someone has a really working package - please share.
P.S. It has nothing to do with mui 'cause actually executables in the packages (Wi-FiWizard 1_47_5_0 & CMWifiAdvanced_1_0_7_0) contain all necessary dialogues and strings, so mui in WWE version can be easily deleted.

Wi-FiWizard 1_47_5_0

Hi AndrewSh,
Here's my Wi-FiWizard package, I think it just have to do with the xml.
Hi Andrew,
Here's mine, with manual translated mui.
Thanx everyone for your help.
Leo, can I ask you also to upload all your CMWiFi* packages, that you use with your Wi-FiWizard?
The same request - to ct_moi
Yeah sure.

Here it is, but I use 1.0.5.
Guys, thanx for your valuable help.
My problem was in
CMWifiAdvanced 1.0.7.0
CMWifiIP 1.0.4.1
when I checked your, ct_moi executables, I realized that you're using
CMWifiAdvanced 1.0.5.0
CMWifiIP 1.0.1.0
The rest is the same as ones of mine. So I just used the same executable's versions and now everything's working fine.
Thanks again.

those two actually work, just don't use any mui-files for 409 (goes for all cmwifi-packages from oboe). only thing that isn't working for me is wag-button in ip, maybe 1.0.1.0 would be worth a try - if i really needed this setting, that is. ^^
caliban2, sorrowfully for me they don't work completely. Maybe kinda device-specific feature. I've spent three days trying to make them work in different combinations...
And for sure - mui in my 409 were the first thing that was deleted - they are useless for WWE as I wrote already - all executables contain necessary dialogues, menu and strings.
BTW roughly half a year ago Alexx (decent developer) got the same **** with these packages - also on HD2 - but as far as he disappeared from both Russian and xda forums - I can not ask him if or how he solved this....
Nevermind, it works now due to the help of my friends, and I'm quite satisfied Maybe the problem is that some OEM packages were not updated to correspondent ones from OBOE or some other reasons... But according to dependencies - the only package (needed to be updated from oem for them in my case) was HTCScroll (was updated during tests) others were up to date....
