Guys, did anybody manage to fix Wi-FiWizard 1_47_5_0 from the last Oboe on Leo?
The problem is that half of the Advanced menu items is invisible.
Below is a screen with a problem menu.
Any help - appreciated.
If someone has a really working package - please share.
P.S. It has nothing to do with mui 'cause actually executables in the packages (Wi-FiWizard 1_47_5_0 & CMWifiAdvanced_1_0_7_0) contain all necessary dialogues and strings, so mui in WWE version can be easily deleted.

CMWifiAdvanced 1.0.7.0
CMWifiIP 1.0.4.1
when I checked your, ct_moi executables, I realized that you're using
CMWifiAdvanced 1.0.5.0
CMWifiIP 1.0.1.0
The rest is the same as ones of mine. So I just used the same executable's versions and now everything's working fine.

those two actually work, just don't use any mui-files for 409 (goes for all cmwifi-packages from oboe). only thing that isn't working for me is wag-button in ip, maybe 1.0.1.0 would be worth a try - if i really needed this setting, that is. ^^
caliban2, sorrowfully for me they don't work completely. Maybe kinda device-specific feature. I've spent three days trying to make them work in different combinations...
And for sure - mui in my 409 were the first thing that was deleted - they are useless for WWE as I wrote already - all executables contain necessary dialogues, menu and strings.
BTW roughly half a year ago Alexx (decent developer) got the same **** with these packages - also on HD2 - but as far as he disappeared from both Russian and xda forums - I can not ask him if or how he solved this....
Nevermind, it works now due to the help of my friends, and I'm quite satisfied Maybe the problem is that some OEM packages were not updated to correspondent ones from OBOE or some other reasons... But according to dependencies - the only package (needed to be updated from oem for them in my case) was HTCScroll (was updated during tests) others were up to date....

When typing emails or texts it prompts with suggestions for words. Usefull.
However,
When I was new to typing on my Vario II i made a few mistakes with words for example "willll" this seems to have been added to the custom dictionary / t9 dictionary. Is it possible to edit the file that contains these mistakes ( there are several ) which are now annoying me.
I assume this is possible, does someone smarter than me know how ?

I thought that i might have to edit a file such as custom.dic in PC Windows. There is a custom.dic on the WM5 device but it is empty so I assume it must be stored somewhere else ?
OOPS just realised I didn't sepcify this was a WM5 problem. Maybe those above are using WM6 ?

Well both probs actually. Not being able to delete the custom dictionary entries or find the button / tick box in the instructiosn someone usefully provided above.
Is there a file I can edit, someone must know.

DictionaryEditor only handles dyncompdict.dat. DictMgr is a suite which has 4 modules which handle dyncomdict.dat (DictEditor), custom.dic (SpellChecker), autocorrect.txt (WordCorrector) and intellipad.udb (T9Editor) separately.

Does need a soft reset after for changes to be applied but hey, that can only be useful !
Here is updated files to random access, its not system files, just the graphic files.
copy to your sd-card, then use total commander to copy them to windows dir on your device. (will not work properly on "older random access")
It is not the random access from diamond, its just a skin of the "good old one"

PS: The same thing happened to me after I installed the actual Diamond random access, which is why I went back to the original random access.
EDIT: Okay, I discovered that it is the black RS_Bar.png which causes my phone to stop scrolling contacts. If I replace just the RS_HL.png and RS_ind.png, then it works fine, does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I am able to replace RS_Bar,png with any RS_Bar.png with the white one fine, and it continues to work, it is just the black one which causes scrolling to stop working.

Hi all,
I have an HTC Hermes (Tytn) and I've installed a cooked Wm 6.5 italian ROM.
I have a problem: all the info under "Hardware Information" and "Call Duration" are messed as shown in photo.
What's wrong with the ROM?
I'm able to add or remove files from it, but I don't know what file or DLL or registry key causes the problem.
Hope I've posted in the right section and in the right way too...

My guess is a bad .mui, try to search for a "DeviceInfo" italian cab, QVGA offcourse......but i suggest you to post in the Rom author thread.
This is not the right section, ChefCentral is made for Cooking problems this is a General Tytn problem.

yes i think so... it must be a mui... in your OEM drivers or OEMapps where did you get that muis? from 6.0 ITA stock rom?
try this......
use a WWE ROM, dump the OEM and grab all the muis (make a backup of your originial ITA muis)
and rename all the mui files (not modules) from 0401 to your lang code for ITALIAN and if the text is still in squares your trouble is inside the CPL's or the size of the words in regs, if the text is shown in english... so your muis are wrong
then the cooking job starts, you need to find wich mui is corrupted

you have to use a position-fixed cuihandler.dll module.
how to fix it manually in Menu_Enhancement_1_1_20162731_00_leo_3.14:
two matches of 0x34 should be replaced to 0x24 -> search in s000 module part for 3430a0e3 (hex) with hex-editor and change 34 to 24 (ultrashot told me this)
Thanks for the advise. I tried to use your fix with my package but didn't work, and I'll have to manually fix my package.

- Any suggestion for an easy to use HEX editor?
- After editing, do I need to sign the package or something?
I'll also try to use the package from the LEO with the fix, as see how it works, But I don't know if there is any dependency with other packages of the LEO 3.14.

try the package i uploaded first (i flashed and tested it myself).
if this doesn't work for you, upload your cuihandler.dll and i will ask ultrashot for the correct value (maybe different).
try hxd hex editor or similar to edit.

It was designed for WM6.5.3, so there are no gaps in it.

Almost got my new ROM done but it's bugging the heck out with the "New Contact Card" which is now working when trying to save a new contact from Dialer and Messages
Those first two buttons there are not working and the buttons are misaligned.

I had this problem very long ago and had solved it easily but cannot remember well. Its with unmatched packages though.
I doubt on your Contact Utility Engine package. Try downgrading or upgrading. If still doesn't solve, try different version of New Contact Card package.
I have attached the working packages taking from my last fuze ROM.
Let me know.

Sorry for late reply. I didn't saw you update neither I got notifications of edited posts. Just was navigating and caught your thread.
Anyways, I too have such issues but I didn't cared much. Though its not so worst as yours since mine is WVGA device now.
If I remember well, I tried to align but couldn't. May be you could try as well. Use XMLGUI tool to edit xml files. Luck if you could find the data in xml itself.
