I´m to stupid to install the Manila files... =(
I can´t install the total commander on my Diamond. Nothing happend on the screen, when i try to install the commander. has anybody an idea?

Please, make the .theme file so it can be installed using Diamond TF3D Tweak application, and safely removed, if needed, with original manilla files being restored.
This would be great as the theme is a cool one

Just Zip the manila files and renema it from Dirtypaper03.zip to Dirtypaper03.theme and it will work

I don't understand why people post before reading? 99% of the time the answers are already in the thread!
It says it 3 posts above...
Rename the .zip to a .theme file and then use TF3D config.

..and I don't understand why people keep on making .theme-files instead of .cab-files
those theme-files can only be used by people having installed the tf3d config app. I can't see any advantage in using .theme-files with this tool compared to a cab-file.
so please, dear theme creators, make cab files (too). most of the themes are so brilliant, really everyone should be able to value up their diamonds with your themes, not only a (small) group of people using a special tool.

[Q] Help Please! Wifi problem.

I'm cooking a Spanish HD2 ROM.
All is working fine except the Add wifi network.
When a choose "Add Wifi Network" nothing happens.

If you are cooking a Spanish rom with English packages you need to translate them, but IMHO its better to dump a Spanish rom a grab that mui.
Wi-Fi Wizard is the package.

Thanks, I grab the spanish mui file but there's still the problem. The package is Wi-Fi Wizard v1.44.0.0 and the lastest spanish package is Wi-Fi Wizard v1.24.3.1.

You need to take also the language folder not only the mui file.
Open Spanish Wi-Fi package, you will see inside a "file" folder and a " 0403 " folder, you need this folder.
Try also to take it from Wi-Fi settings...oh well it would be better if you take all the 0403 external packages if you wanna make a Spanish rom.
Or you can simply rename the 0409 mui files in 0403 mui , though language will be in english.
Last suggestion is to attach here your Build.log so we can check it.

The problem is that the mui file is older than the new package, if I cook the package 1.24.3.1 all is fine but old, there isn't the new options.
I'll try to translate a 0409 mui file if I find a newer >v1.40.0.0.

Sometimes it doesnt matter how much a packages its old,the mui are only language, i told you this because i cook Italian roms , for example latest Italian HD2 rom is 1.66 ,well ive cooked with TMOUS 2.10 ext package with 0410 muis from 1.66 .

Yes, but in this case is necesary a new mui file, and at the moment I don't find none.

[Q] ROM Cooking For HP iPAQ Hx2

Hello,
I have an HP iPAQ Hx2 using the v2 of the Spiaatie WM6.5 ROM, but now I want to start cooking some ROMs to understand better about the Windows Mobile kernel, because at the time I just know it's API very well(as a developer). Then I want to know two things:
Where I can get the best kitchen to cook ROMs for it?
Where I can get the WM6.5 ROM file to customize?

I guess you need a CustomRuu.exe not the original,at least we do this way for HTC.

But there is any custom RUU for iPAQs?

1. To convert cab's to packages you can use this app [here]
2. You will need to add hTC Animation to kitchen.
3. Change classicblue_stwater_240_320.jpg, classicblue_stwater_320_240.jpg and images in Classic Blue.tsk (theme) file for example.
4. I use the same old style kitchen, as the new one does not work with iPAQ. I will not share my kitchen as I have spent many hours tuning it up and figuring things out. If you want to cook your own ROM - you will need to learn and use search a lot, same as I did years ago. And don't post unnecessary threads, if you have a question about ROM cooking for hx2000 series - post them all here.
5. You can't flash iPAQ from EBOOT mode - use PRE-BL mode and if it still does not work use RUU from my lastest ROMs.

[SOLVED]Bluetooth in Dutch ROM

HI there everybody,
I have a small issue with my ROM when cooking a Dutch ROM. I have a working HD2 WWE ROM and using OSkitchen to make the ROM multilanguage, the ROM is a 3.14 base. When I cook the ROM in Dutch I have a few issues (see screenshots)

All the bluetooth texts are in { } codes, I know that has something to do with the language, but where do I find these files?
I used the OEM packages for BT from the 1.66 dutch ROM, without luck.
I hope you guys can give me an answer.
[SOLUTION] while dumping the dutch ROM, oSkitchen made 0409 versions of thebluetoothwelcome0xxx.wmcl" and Btrez.dll0xxx.mui resulting in the above pictures.

with file for your languages
but if you use Oemdriver from rom tmouse,you must traslate this file in your languages
because old file presents in your old stock rom leo NL certainly are not compatible

you are in luck my friend i am busy with a hd2 rom to in dutch
i attached the files in 0413 and they need to be in oemdrivers
hope they help you out but i think they will as i dont have those signs

Hmmm when looking at the oemdrivers from the Dutch ROM I dumped with OSkitchen, it seems that the files miniterror posted are dumped as 0409 files, how weird!

yep had the same thing when i looked there
i also made roms for rhodium and i saw the bluetooth part is arranged the same in oem folder for it so i took those files and it solved the {} thingies for me

[Solved] Working Wi-FiWizard 1_47_5_0 from OBOE

Finally I also decided to ask my first question here since registering.....
Guys, did anybody manage to fix Wi-FiWizard 1_47_5_0 from the last Oboe on Leo?
The problem is that half of the Advanced menu items is invisible.
Below is a screen with a problem menu.
Any help - appreciated.
If someone has a really working package - please share.
P.S. It has nothing to do with mui 'cause actually executables in the packages (Wi-FiWizard 1_47_5_0 & CMWifiAdvanced_1_0_7_0) contain all necessary dialogues and strings, so mui in WWE version can be easily deleted.

CMWifiAdvanced 1.0.7.0
CMWifiIP 1.0.4.1
when I checked your, ct_moi executables, I realized that you're using
CMWifiAdvanced 1.0.5.0
CMWifiIP 1.0.1.0
The rest is the same as ones of mine. So I just used the same executable's versions and now everything's working fine.

those two actually work, just don't use any mui-files for 409 (goes for all cmwifi-packages from oboe). only thing that isn't working for me is wag-button in ip, maybe 1.0.1.0 would be worth a try - if i really needed this setting, that is. ^^

caliban2, sorrowfully for me they don't work completely. Maybe kinda device-specific feature. I've spent three days trying to make them work in different combinations...
And for sure - mui in my 409 were the first thing that was deleted - they are useless for WWE as I wrote already - all executables contain necessary dialogues, menu and strings.
BTW roughly half a year ago Alexx (decent developer) got the same **** with these packages - also on HD2 - but as far as he disappeared from both Russian and xda forums - I can not ask him if or how he solved this....
Nevermind, it works now due to the help of my friends, and I'm quite satisfied Maybe the problem is that some OEM packages were not updated to correspondent ones from OBOE or some other reasons... But according to dependencies - the only package (needed to be updated from oem for them in my case) was HTCScroll (was updated during tests) others were up to date....
