How to send sms without pressing touch screen???
I can call and do everything, but I can't send sms.
My warranty has expired.
You lost your touchscreen or what? I think we cant do that. You can write your message, but you still have touch you screen to send it.
you could map any hardware key to the left and right softkeys (say the mail and the Internet hardware buttons). Do a search for hardware key mapping applications such as AEButton Plus. Just an idea. Hope this helps.

try it with the navigation buttons or button green phone symbol..!!! Good Luck

Is there a way to remap the Send key when I am in text messaging? When I have my keyboard open, I have a bad habit of hitting the key just above the E, which is right now programmed to be Send. How can I change/disable this? I am happy hitting the touch screen to send.

i am thinking of buying a touch dual.
but i want to know if sending an sms is just as easy as with a smartphone without the touchscreen.
for example on my tornado without touch i can send a new sms by scrolling down and then press twice to the right, press the right button and i have a new sms.
to see and reply to old sms's i just press the joystick and i get a list.
is it this ease with the niki, or do you need to get out the stylus to send a new sms?
You can use the keypad to send the SMS. T9 or just old typing will work. You can also use your stylus
sending should not be the problem.
i would really like to know if you have fast access to sms and new sms, or if you need the stylus for access.
you dont need to use the stylus at all you can access them with a few touches on the screen.
either press start and messaging or the message count on the home plugin, then it depends what screen your messging was in last time you closed it,
i took a look at the niki in the store.
as soon as you slide open the niki, it gives you the option of sending a new sms, without having to go through the entire menu.
Soft panic button who send with one button a sms for emergency situations, it would be really good if it includes gps coordinates

While I am in landscape the send button is too close to the keyboard, and it happens that I press send instead of a key.
So my SMS is uncomplete.

I cant seem to get the sms send button to work, clicking this button does nothing, the button does acknowledge the click, as you see the button show the down event. nothing happes tho! it just sit there waiting for you to click on the send button
using ervius with xipbuild 23138 and the same sys build on a touch diamond!

Solved reading another thread! removed OutlookEnhancement..
found the thread by using the keyword messaging.. I did search under SMS, TEXT, UNABLE TO SEND SMS.. to no avail!
