Battery????

Hey, my S200 shows unusual battery drainage behaviour. it seems like if the battery empties to fast. I have the newest DOPOD rom and some programs like Pocket plus, diary and weather running.
Let me give you an example, If I have just finished charing the device and it displays a battery charge of 100% I unplug it and 1 minute later it goes down by 1% to 99 - an additional minute and the battery meter displays 98. By the end of the day i seem to have a charge of maybe 40% while using the device for maybe 1 hour intensly and the rest just phone standby with maybe 2 calls of 2 min avrg length.
On top i noticed that the left side of the device gets a littel warm when I am using the device extensively or charging it. Is that also normal?
Whats the deal with my device? i dont know a whole lot about pda's. Is that a normal power consumption?
How can I measure if my device performs well in terms of CPU speed because I have the feeling it also runs slow.

Similar to my S200. When I tried to use S200 with my old O2 XDA mini's battery, everything is OK. Battery of S200 has problem ???

battery drain so fast

i have bought htc p3400i wm6 two days back.
vanilla no extra softwares and i am on roaming.
no wifi, no bluetooth, no gprs or internet enabled but found battery drains so fast.
i've seen battery draining at rate of 5% every 10 minutes.
can anyone guide me how to tune battery so that it runs for longer ?
Found no fone calls in 4 hours and battery drained 70%
please guide me to solve problem.

The battery might be a used one.......
Exchange the battery from the showroom........

the battery was sealed pack in box when it came.
right now i select manual network selection and i think battery running okay against that super fast drain on auto network selection.

u should use the standby button on the top left corner of the phone when u r not using ur cell..i have d same model..m able to stand for 2 full days without charging and ya ofcourse on standby with a regular use of it...

hello dear . here is a problem.
first of all u go in setting
and then system
and clear storage.
after that automatic window install itself
after install windows u use the phone and calculate the performence of battery.
it may b your charger can b faulty.
one time u charge your phone help of usb.
an then chack the battery status.

ActiveSync Error
I had the same battery problem (fully charged battery, no data or phone calls, quickly drained battery). I discovered that I had a calendar item that would not sync, so ActiveSync just kept trying to sync it over and over, which is what drained the battery. To check, open ActiveSync, select MENU>STATUS and check for any error. If so, delete the bad item (contact, calendar entry, notes, or whatever it is).

SPV M3100 battery status

Hello,
Sir like many others, I too have a battery problem with my SPV M3100
The battery always shows it's status in the 10s. Which means like..
90%, 80%, 70%, ...
It never shows up something else then tens which is not really good.
The second problem. If the battery is 100% charged, I open WIFI in few seconds it will drain to 90% and 80% and then 70%.. It drains really very fast. I know that WIFI eats up the battery but not like 10% in 1 minute???
Third problem, If I keep my mobile 100% battery on stand by mode and I don't get a call. After 24 hours I go and see it will show and battery left 100%. But if I go and do a small task in mobile, it will drain like 30% in once. That is quite ammazing I have never played on music so can't say how much it drains while playing music on hands free.
Overall on standby mode, the battery lasts like 3 to 4 days. But if you use it for even a small thing, it drains really fast and battery was dead.
Please help, I think this all is not normal, Radio version can be the reason of this???

Even when I go online with GPRS/3G/UMTS/HSDPA..
Does the problem come from the battery?
My battery has UTSTARCOM text on the battery. How about you?
EDIT : You need to flash a ROM with a 1% increment fix, it's because the stock/official ROM has 10% increment battery meter, I don't know why.. And my battery drains very fast because I have over-charging it.. I leave my Hermes charging overnight when I'm sleeping, and it leads to over-charging.. You need to unplug the charging cable when the charging complete ASAP..

I have the same problem on my Spv m3100. The power meter deplete at 10% increments. Unlike my HTC TyTyn 2 - Kaiser this shows actual units.

T-mobile mda compact main batery problems

Finaly I installed Windows mobile 6.1 on my magician, but seemd there is problem. Before I installed it there was orginal wm 2003se. And when battery drain until 9% monitor stop showing, light stops and I need to turn on again. When Battery drained until 30% I can't turn on GPRS because again it turn off. Now when I finaly installed wm 6.1 (When I connected to PC to sync it charged, but when I installing it stop charging and I do that not one time, because I get error 120) magican stop working when battery drained until 20%. So, I want to ask: is there problem with windows or with battery? and if battery can i buy new one or there isn't anymore? That battery is rather old

HD2 Battery Backup very less

Hi Guys,,
My Name is Sahil and i am new here.
I have HTC HD2 with android Cynogen mod.
I am not at all happy with the battery backup it gives me.
On regular usage like calling,sms,just normal usage no playing games or connected to wifi nothing.
- The battsat application shows a drainge of 107Ma..when only playing music nothing else through headphones.
- What shoudl i do .?
- is it normal ?
- What is the normal driange of battery when idle for you guys.

My battery drains at the rate of 1% in 6 minutes when its idle.

Battery drain is an often discussed issue in the forums.
Check out if there is an update for your rom and check the developer board if someone else had the same problem with your rom.
