i'm looking for my HTC Touch Pro by Sprint.
anybody have experience with these two silicone skins? or if it's bad, do anyone have a recommendation for Sprint HTC Touch Pro? i just bought generic silicone skin and it sucks. the rail falling off from the silicone and its just useless junk now. sorry for my english, i've come from Indonesia. Thank you
I don't know about those two for sure, but the one I had was a pain in the butt to get out of your pocket. It also was really hard to push the power button with it. I will not buy silicone again. Seemed to protect it well tho..

I agree that It makes it difficult to take the phone out of pocket.
In spite, I love it. I tried a hard case, which made the touch screen work in a funny way. I wish, some shields were out there which wraps around the edges. Then there would be no need of extra casing.

I already have an IS installed. But it does not cover the edges. See the attached picture (got from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=453847)
Anyone have any ideas on how I can go about cleaning the ear-piece grill? I see some flakes of string/hair, no sure what it is, or just string particles that is stuck there that I'm having difficulty removing. Should I go with the canned air route? Or do I risk blowing the stuff INSIDE the ear-piece and consequently, the phone?
Any ideas are welcome.
i use a lump of bluetack

Interesting. I'll give that a shot. Lawl. I just used tweezers and those seem to work as well, though it couldn't get the tiny non-string particles.
Cheers.
I've usually just been using qtips (lightly dampened, then dry), and just blowing into it with my mouth. I've avoided using canned air just because I'd be worried about damaging the speaker inside. That might not be a valid concern, but I haven't bothered finding out.

Okay so not having a screen protector yet has already hurt me. The sides of my phone - in the tiny gap between the screen and the cradle - has already accumulated dust. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove it?
I use a sitcky side of a sticky note. Seems to help

I did something similar on my N1 to the same effect, I used scotch tape instead, seemed to work pretty well.
Think it is zagg who sells some stuff to get it out.

Tried it. Doesn't work.
Sticky note/scotch tape, though, sounds like a great idea.
Compressed air?

Q-tips, no seriously...
I usually just use the edge of a piece of paper. This phone is a magnet for crap in between the cracks because of the raised edges.

+1 That's what I do and it works well.
Between the screen and the case at the top of the device there is a 1mm gap which after over 2 months of owning has lots of little bits of dust!
Has anyone else got this and removed it?
If so how?
Cheers.

The gap there is by design, there's the microphone assembly behind it.
As to how to clean it: well, I personally find the "miracle goo" - thingies great for cleaning such small gaps. The "miracle goo" is the kind of stuff that picks up all kinds of small dust and dirt particles, you just push it against the things you want to clean and leave it there for a minute or two and then pick it up again. Many IT- and office-supplies stores sells it, atleast here in Finland. Just try and look around.

Hi Guys
What way would be best to remove scratches of the metal rim? Sandpaper? Aluminium Polish?
Any advice appreciated
FKO...
I haven't got any scratches yet but if or when I do I'll use autosol with a cotton bud
I removed mine with a nail buffer. Just be careful & tape over the surrounding surfaces.

Hey! How did you that?! Just that will make the metal worse (I think)?
Thanks!

Autosol? But that (maybe) will get off because of you hold the phone daily and sometimes the phone overheats then the polish will come off easily
Just want to know what's your experience with autosol because I just sick of the scratches on my Note 4 and I want to try it.
Thanks!

Thanks folks, will check out the autosol
May also look at the other one.

Oic. Have you guy encounter rusty around the home button?
Ringke slim case will keep metal in perfect condition without adding bulk to a device.
