Threaded Email in 6.5.3? - Mogul, XV6800 General

Does anyone have a version of outlook that supports this on the xv6800? I've been searching around but having no luck. Any input appreciated.

Bump on this? I have a feeling it is because I am using gmail and not a 2010 exchange server.

I have been using Flexmail and like it quite a bit, but the RAM footprint is huge. I just found IBE Mail last night and wonder what you think of it.

so I didn't personally try it.

There are several of them; please see the Mailer Bible at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=569&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
I read the many articles you reference in your blog, but I still can not find a client that will show HTML email when using an Exchange Server..Flexmail will for POP and IMAP, but not yet for exchange...
Any clients that use push and html email for MS Exchange??

problem sending calendar updates from 8525 to outlook 2007

hello group,
I have searched the forums and the wiki, but have found nothing about this. I'm also looking at microsoft's kb, nothing yet.
when I set up a calendar appointment on my 8525 and add an attendee, an email gets sent to that attendee with the appointment via whatever email account you have selected in calendar options.
when I do this, the appointment that the other person receives is set to the time and day I sent it, rather than the time and day of the appointment.
has anyone else seen this?
is there a fix? perhaps the dst patch caused it. this didn't happen with my old harrier.
***update edit-
this only happens with outlook 2007. when I send to outlook 2003sp2 the appointment date and time is correct.

I'm still on the old 1.34.502.1 cingular rom, since I couldn't get blackberry connect working with the new att rom.
thanks in advance!

tried this with two different outlook 2007 installations and it is broken on both. can anyone that has access to a pc running outlook 2007 try this out and tell me if it is a problem for them, and what rom version you are using?

What version Exchange are you running?
Have you installed that April OL2007 patch I saw mentioned on M$'s KB? Doesn't seem to address your issue but who knows...
I'l test with my Exchange 2003, OL2003 and OL2007 clients and see if I can duplicate your complaint later today.
thanks!
I'm using pop, no exch server. it works if I select the appt and send as an ics, but not when I set up the appointment on the hermes and add attendees so it sends the appt email automatically.
tytn account is pop,
outlook 2003 and 2007 are both pop too. don't have access to an exchange client running 2007, but exchange with outlook 2003 does work, I've tested that.
I haven't loaded the hotfix on the kb, because it does seem unrelated. all updates are applied.
posted the problem on the ms newsgroups for outlook 2007, but no replies yet.
thank you very much for your help!
wes
Sorry but you're on your own. I quit "popping" years ago.
Good luck!
ok,
thanks anyway.
for what it's worth, I don't think the mail service has anything to do with it. either the appt is formed incorrectly on the hermes, or it is interpreted incorrectly by outlook 2007. strangely enough, the same email appt. show up correctly in 2003, so it is something specific to outlook 2007.
thanks again,
wes

Yahoo! Mail not working

Did any one experinced that yahoo! mail kept prompting the "incoming email password" screen?
Any solution to that? thanks!
Y! Mail does not support POP3.
a couple of weeks ago, I was using the HTC SNAP. It worked perfectly. (I suspect Yahoo changed something as they launch their new browser based email client).
Now, it does not work on the mega. BTW, by default, IMAP is automatically defined, not POP.
Cheers!
And still... How do we fix this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Henry Hayes

html email

hi all,
in my active sync settings there is a setting for html email but it is greyed out. anyone know if its possible to enable? i want to see images in my email. thanks.
Html email is available and works on the HD2; I use it. However it works only if your exchange server is 2007 or later. If it's 2003 or older, html email is not supported over activesync. Could that be your issue?
That's exactly my problem. Thanks for pointing it out. Now I'll have to upgrade exchange server LOL!
