i wanted to upgrade my android G1 to android 1.5, i have downloaded the boot.img + recovery.img+radio.img
i have started by these :
HTML:
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase boot
after that when i tried to type on the prompt :
HTML:
fastboot flash system system.img
it says that there's no signature & verification failed. Installation aborted
and now my phone when i power it, it stops in the starter screen image.
what could i do to re-install my phone with fastboot command ? and what have i do to eliminate the verification of signature ?
sorry to hear dat mate. try flashing software but read all instructions b4 do dat
thanks, but the problem is how, because my first aim -i think- is to unblock the bootloader whitch is responsable of the message no signature found.
any one can help me ?
is there a method that allow me to install new system G1 without it verifies the signature ?

Use Windows 7. Rsdlite doesn't work on Windows 10 if I'm not mistaken, probably also on 8/Vista.
Sent from my XT1562 using XDA-Developers mobile app
wont work
I downloaded wine/wineloader on my mac because i have no windows and then i downloaded and used rsdlite for windows 7 but it still wouldnt read
Rsdlite was also unable to detect my Moto X Play. I tried Rsdlite on two laptops both running Window 7 as well as tried different data cables but to no avail.
Was the phone in fastboot mode when you connect it to rsdlite?
Sent from my XT1562 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Yes, mine was in fastboot. And I tried various advice from various forums but no success
its stuck on the bootloader screen, i tried it on windows 7 computers and windows 8, my phone wont be detected by any computer, its called "lux" and somethings wrong with the driver, i uninstalled it, installed it again (motorola device manager), in driver settings i uninstalled it, downloaded the latest update for the driver) and my phone would still not be recognized by rsdlite or the computer in general BUT when i tried using the verizon software repair software on my mac, it was read as razr 2 but it would get stuck at 6%

What ROM were you on when you tried Kingroot? It worked perfectly for me after I returned my Xt1564 to stock, then ran Kingroot, I trashed the root app that it installed and replaced with SuperSu Pro. Has been working like a charm for weeks.

Hi I've seen threads around that have the same issue is there any help I can get.
I only have access to fastboot
my device will hang on LG logo
I've tried flashing recovery and it won't boot into it
I also tried https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70393155&postcount=3 and cannot flash misc, fota, but I can flash cache
- the error i get here is " remote: cannot erase this partition in unlocked state "
-- so i locked it with fastboot oem lock and fastboot flash lock and i get the same error with it declaring a " locked state " forcing me to unlock the bootloader again
I've attempted to flash .kdz files with no luck as im in download mode and the guides even say to put in download mode and LGMobile support tool isn't able to detect phone saying it's not even plugged in.
- is there a .dll file or something i need I've read twice in two different post maybe it's typos
I ran LGMobile support tool and it fails after downloading the .kdz file (my guess) not being able to put the phone in download mode is causing it to do so
I'm running out of ideas can anyone help?

Hello everyone
2 days ago I received the message that finally the update for my device was available, specifically NPJ25.93-14, the download was made and proceeded to install, the installer only advanced very little and failed the installation, I check the recovery log And so I could understand the installation script failed because I did not find the expected base version:
Verifying Current System
script aborted: Error E3002:
Packaged expects build thumbprint of 7.0/NPJ25.93-14/16:user/release-keys or
6.0.1/MPJ24.139-48/48:user/release-key; this device has 6.0.1/MPJ24.139-64/65:user/release-key
E:Error in @/cache/recovery/block.map
I would appreciate your help in analyzing the cause of failure in the installer and how I can solve it to perform the installation of the update successfully.
Thank you
what the.., i don't know why the log says " 6.0.1/MPJ24.139-64/65" if you really have 48. So.. maybe you can reinstall your rom

did you install in the past a -64 rom?
Maybe if you had 64 previously and you tried to install 48 it really was not installed correctly because it was a downgrade
There is not a ota for -64 that you can use for nougat around the forum?
like many of us, I have a rooted, bootloader unlocked retus xt1625 with TWRP installed. Has anyone been able to get the nougat update to install? My version is MPJ24,139-49
I tried to run the update and it booted into my twrp recovery. But I got the same message as above
Does some sort of downgrade need to happen allow it to accept the update?

honestly I can't ensure if the phone had a firmware version 64 or not, i've changed firmware 2 times, both firmware were stock Motorola.
I'm going to check my computer, I sure leave a copy of the firmware that I installed at that moment and I'll be able to check the version
*******************************************************************************************************
Following the recommendation, perform a firmware download provided by motorola again, I did a clean installation again and the result is exactly the same again, the motorola website indicates that the version is 64, but the phone still indicates is The installed version is 48. Assuming I could have done a dowgrade from 64 to 48, the question is, is there a way to correct this?
well buddy, really i can't tell you. Maybe you can try forcing a update downloading the ota and changing the line that verify your rom in the zip file. If you're in the correct build version for the update maybe you can have a success update
For all this process you need TWRP, because the stock recovery verify if the zip file is signed. (Motorola and i are not responsible for any damage)
Finally solved

Well, I've finally been able to resolve the problem with the firmware update, how? simple ..
1.- Download a firmware for the version of my phone, I decided on the 64 version due to the inconsistency that my phone had between what the updater detected and the build that the phone reported as installed. My objective was not to downgrade
I did not want to make firmware downgrade
https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto%20G4%20%28Plus%29/Stock/XT1625-XT1644_ATHENE_RETUS_MPJ24.139-64_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
2.- I did the installation using the fastboot method
fastboot oem fb_mode_set
fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash dsp adspso.bin
fastboot flash oem oem.img
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.5
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.6
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.7
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase customize
fastboot erase clogo
fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
fastboot reboot
3.- When the phone reboot after the installation check the compilation version and the inconsistency had disappeared. Check if there were pending updates and yes, had one. Download and install without problems.
Thank you all for your time and collaboration. :good:
To summarize, I have a Moto G5 Plus, with locked bootloader and I decided to update a ROM STOCK and made a simple mistake by forgetting the OEM unlock option in advance in the configuration menu. An error occurred on the way and tried to return to the stock. Now, when the phone boots up, it enters the boot loader (which is locked) and displays a startup error message that states that you must use the Software Repair Wizard.
trying to enter the recovery gives a code:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode [Secure]
Fastboot Reason: UTAG "bootmode" configured as fastboot
failed to validate boot image
ERROR: Failed to pass validation, backup to fastboot
Boot up failed
Is there a known solution or force a recovery to work?
Thanks to all
Hello;
I found the solution, download the latest firmware from your cell phone, download it just unzip the zip and look for the files: gpt.bin and bootloader.img, those 2 ctrl + c and files go to the folder where they downloaded ADB tools and paste the files there , then execute the steps to open command window here and execute the following:
fastboot flash partitiongpt.bin
fastboot bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
and it is ready to install the downloaded rom.

Try
Code:
sudo fastboot flash recovery twrp.zip
Replace twrp.zip with the actual file that contains the custom recovery
