i don't know what was happen with my XDA II today, when i put it on the dock,it still charge but it wasn't sync with my laptop,i thought that was the software problems so i decided to hard reset my phone but after that it still like that,i try with another XDA II( my friend's) and it is normal but not with my phone. So what should i do??? to sync my phone again,Now i'm not able to install any software to my phone and i'm crying to wait for some help...

and then putting it back in the cradle

Please help, I am really desparate at this point. I just got today Qtek S200 in French. After reading most of the messages in this forum, I felt comfortable that I could change the language from French to English. First I installed Active Sync 4.1 in English. Then, I downloaded and ran Lokwiz.bat to unlock the CID. Next i ran CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe (ROM version 2 something) to change the ROM (again i downloaded the file from this site). During the installation everything seemed to go on fine with % sign increasing with time. Then, at the end, it said "Congratulations...." The sign went away on the computer and the PDA went blank. So, I proudly thought that everything was fine. THen the screen started blinking on and off and the red and blue lights of the phone started blinking as well.
Now, no matter what I do nothing works (e.g. hard and soft reset, etc.). Other than taking out the baterry nothing helps. Also, the computer is not recognizing that the phone is connected either.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you have seen something like this. I am afraid that i burned my PDA irreparably. Thanks a lot.

push "standbye" and "cam" button and than the reset
to show the colordisplay
and than put the usb in and flash another ROM
that´s all...

Thank you so much for replying to my plea. I was so hopeful but unfortunately what you suggested did not work. I pressed all these three things together and held it down but nothing happens, no color display .
Am I doing something wrong or do you have any other suggestions?
Hi, Unfortunately you have flashed Wizard instead of Prophet ROM. I did that when I first got my Dopod and could not find a way to fix it. After many desperate tries, I finally send it for service. I was fortunate that they replace the entire mother board (with different serial number) without charge. Looks like the wizard ROM kills the prophet. If someone or you can figure out how to recover from this without swapping the device, please let us know - I think there are many who would benefit from the experience.
My lesson learnt - only stick to prophet ROM for prophet device!!
I called up support and they told me that it is possible to do it if one has a software (does not need a special machine or anything), they just can't email me the software.
Any suggestions?

hi guys
well i have a quite serious problem with my 8125
cpl of days ago my 8125 screen started disaligning and I couldnt stand it anymore... it would disaling after 10sec and I was mad about it
so i made a backup of main memory and decided to to a hard reset..
after hard reset, I got the WM screen and needed to tap the screen, I did the first two corners but after those i couldnt tap anymore, the touchscreen wouldnt feel anything.. so i softreseted it and got back to the WM screen and that alignement but this time it wouldnt feel anything- i stuck on the first screen..
okay, I thought maybe its a ROM fault (I use molski rom 2.26.10.2 with aku 2.3) and I tried to load it in bootload.. believe what, I found out that fuxing M$ made xda ROM archive down.. i went mad...
so i couldnt update my rom
than yesterday after reading sites and sites over net, I decided to open my wizard and try cleaning it, I did that, put cover back and all that stuff... and now my pc doesnt recognize the wiz when I connect it in bootload mode on AS
okay, so I don't know what to do, im out of ideas and I beg sum1 for help...
I got my 8125 from eBay last August and till cpl of days ago it was working perfectly.. Im not from USA btw.. ill try to send it to a diagnostic service in HTC in my country... but is there any other possibility?? would changing the touchscreen solve my problem?

The bootloader does not work with active sync, i think.
Active Sync requires to dialog with Windows Mobile, and the bootloader just has the basic code to make a simple USB conection.
You can probably use the Wizard Love ROM, which works great with any Wizard (even G4), and upgrade from there to any other version.
Notice that Wizard Love does not use ActiveSync at all, it downloads the rom through USB without active sync.

Hi people. i have a pre-owned (by my father) Samsung Omnia II and every time i connect it to my computer, the phone gets freezed and i have to restart it. it's a problem my dad already had for a long time, but it didn't bother him. now i want to install android and i need to solve it. i have just done a hard reset and the problem persists. does anyone know how to fix it? thanks.

I a noobie in all aspects of what you're doing here so i'll just share what I did with my 2 motorola phones.
I was able to open the phones with RSD(?) and use any sim cards with it.. one was working just fine (with shut down probs and auto factory resetting everytime that happens) and the other one practically in "coma" state... the 2nd phone can charge it's battery whenever i put it in a socket when i attempt to "turn it on", to no avail. please help me or at least explain me first what happened to my phone and what should i do...
