I payed $40 for this program and it was working fine on the stock WM6 rom that came with the T-Mobile Wing.
Now, on the touch it 2.3 rom it installs and connects fine but there is no text box. I've tried a dozens times reinstalli and nothing seems to work... any ideas anyone?
Reinstall your stock rom, there is stock T-Mobile RUU floating around...If you look in the "customizing" group, you can find a standalone plugins (cube,home plug cabs) you can install on top of your stock rom. Looks just like Touch-it minus some apps that come with touch it.
I would do the page pool mod on the stock rom. I am running a stock rom on my wing with page pool mod and the home plug. It rums perfect. I had lots of bugs on my phone as well with the touch it, like they say "Every install is a differant one on a phone"
So, some people might have bugs and some might not have any...
also uninstall the OZ client,,that crap wont quit after its started!
Plus other useless apps.
MY IM+ runs perfect, the only problem is this new version does not want to work with the proxy settings. I need to find the older version!
Are you running proxy? If yes, what version IM+ are u using?

Did you run the Network Wizard config tool to set up your internet connections etc...? If your phone isn't configured to connect to the internet, nothing that uses internet will work.

Hmm... I installed the official USA RUU T-Mobile ROM onto my wing... MY IM+ now works but it is very nnoticably slower then the touch it rom.
i wish there was a way around this so I can use IM+ on the touch it rom
do the following on your stock rom
4mb page pool
over clock to 260mhz using battery status
i had the same problem, i switched to Agile Messenger and it works perfectly

After trying PIE 6.1 for a while. There's really nothing to shout about. Going back to opera 8.65 and eagerly waiting for 9.5.
I even think of removing IE and all its dll from rom.
PIE 6.1 sucks half the sites i go on my phone freezes and i have to take the batterey out to restart... PLus It NEVER closes even with stop all with the task manager...
I used the old one on a regular basis, and sites that are designed for mobile devices work fine. They also work fine on the new version.
But anyways, i guess you could say a turd will always be a turd. It couldn handle the largers sites then, and it still cant. The zoom function has no extra value from my point of view... it doesnt make the browsing experience any better. For it to become a better browser, I guess we would have to wait for a new version that is built from the ground up from scratch.

I installed the cab linked above, soft reseted the device (Polaris) but I can't find the program launcher anywhere, and I still have PIE 6.0

OK BeeJive has released Jivetalk (alpha) for WinMo6.x pro devices
It is truly a marvel on my Hermes(Cingy 8525)
Heres my issue I cannot get it to run for the life of my on my Herald(tmo wing)
I have tried several roms and it wont work
Open Touch, Touch-IT, and another i cant remember at this time
I want some other Wing users to see if they have the same issue also

yeah i have open touch 4.0 lite and it doesn't work, fails to startup. when i had the original tmobile rom on my wing, it worked.
The JiveTalk cab of yours work perfectly on my O2 terra, a Herald variant.
Used to use Palringo until today but JiveTalk seems to take over that place, thanks btw
I checked out the Jive site and there you could make a HTC P4350 and a T-Mobile Wing selection.
I'm not sure if this is just a marketing questionaire or a hardware id related question field.
Which version did you pick?
When I login to various IM networks the status messages is "On HTC P4350",
my assumption is that it could be hardware related.
Try if selecting the Wing version makes a differences if not try to use JiveTalk over WiFi,
because your mobile carrier might block the appropriate port via proxy.

FLASHED BACK TO TMO ORIGINAL (on my HERALD)

This app is tht HOTT to me
I cant understand why it wouldnt work with the custom roms though

The roms it doesnt work on are because they do not have SQLCE cooked in
Must be "cooked in" for jivetalk to work
Works on all Binky11's ROMS and all vp3G's as well
SQLCE and .NET CF are both required for JiveTalk to work.
I haven't managed to get Jivetalk to work on my phone, after trying to install everything... still errors every time...

Same here. Got .NET CF 2.0, 3.5 and SQL CE installed and still no luck.
Itje's 7.1 ROM was the the last ROM JiveTalk could run properly.
Anybody know how to enable the today plugin for the newest JiveTalk? It's not under start>settings>today>items.
you have to download it separately. after you do that and install it will show up where the normal today plugins show up in that list. it shows up for me.
does anyone know where it saves logs? or how to delete them? i think they are taking up a lot of my memory, i only have 3.2MB left and i am not putting ANYTHING on my phone and cleartemp clears like 500KB

i couldn't begin to tell you where it is. the only reason i know about it is because when i updated it told me i can either edit a css file (or something) to have it work or install the cab that will automatically add it.

I went back to the OEM and got the today plug-in back. It is working fine on my ROM (for the Kaiser).
i emailed bee jive people and they told me it should work on custom ROMs.
however, i have a tmo wing running on papa black diamond but it doesnt work however many times i tried it. i used to have it on my blackberry and it is really the best messaging software out there

I know it runs out of the box on Itje's, ICP's and tttrans's ROMs, but i never got it to work on this one.

Anyway if anyone has a fantasy premier league team set up could they go to this website and see if they can log in. Just in case you don't trust the site you can go to fantasy.premierleague.com on a normal browser first to see its a legit site.
When I was running the ROM in my signature I had no problem logging in to this site but now since I updated to CT's Version 6.4 HD I can't log in. It does have a newer version of Opera and I was wondering if that could be the problem.
I've checked on a Nokia and the site is not down but I don't know anyone else with a Diamond.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

I think its an Opera issue as it used to work on my very old stock ROM.
I use internet explorer now with the home page set as wap.fantasy.premierleague.com to access the site.
That's the best workaround I could come up with

Ive downloaded Touch-ITs very good touch flo and so started to download other programs. So far ive done the keyboard and that works a treat.
Problem is ive downloaded the mp3 trimmer and social network engine installed them but cant find them anywhere...how do i access them? can these be used as tabs on the touchflo screen as i really like the interface?

mp3trimmer already comes WITH itje's rom. no need to install it again. which "social network engine" are you talking about?
you'll find all programs if you click "start" (upper left) and then "all programs" (lower left).
I used this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442154 to get the cabs and installed them. Cant find the option to trim MP3s at all. and i downloaded the Touch-It Blackstone Social Network engine. Any ideas?
Im hoping that by downloading the engine that the social networking sites would pop up under the internet tab where youtube is...you know where i mean?

okay, i'm sorry, but i never used stock rom with manila-cab. but i can tell you this:
- manila works best if cooked in, use a custom rom (i.e. itje's touch-it v.10. but there are many good roms, have a look in the rom-developing-part)
- the cab you used is from november 2008, there's a newer version out now
- "social engine": never saw it in the internet tab, it connects your contacts with a corresponding facebook-friend.
so, bottom line:
programs should show where i told you above, even in the cab i think. and: manila as a cab is slow, cooked-in it flies these days.

I am LOST, however up for installing whatever makes it run that little bit smoother! I like the look of manila i am using now but if there is an upto date one then i can give that a go.
I havent found the ROM you suggested but will keep looking, the first thread i came across (the main one) seems to have the download links removed, any ideas?

typing this from my mobile, so to keep it short:
- you need to apply "hard-spl" first to flash a custom rom (it's a sticky)
- if you're flashing itje's v.10.2, be aware that there is a bug for some people with sending sms. i NEVER had it though. also you'll need to apply 2 or 3 fixes.
- READ READ READ!
if you're going to flash ANY custom rom you'll have to learn a lot. "just install and everything's perfect" won't work. and everytime you flash a new rom you'll loose all data on your phone, so make backup first!!!
if you're willing to get into this - do it. it's worth it and it will really improve your x1. if you want to have everything working out of the box with many restrictions - apple makes such a device...

edit: the fixes needed
since the thread on v10 is pretty much to read (it started as v7...), for starters the 3 fixes needed with this version.
- Advanced Network (found in itje's first post, under the dl-link for the rom itself)
- "v10.2_corrected_highlights.zip" (also posted by itje, somewhere in the thread, search for it)
extract the files in these two zips to your \windows-directory (on your x1) with total commander (comes with the rom)
- v10.2_smaberg_1_percent_battery.cab (install normally. this fixes a bug that the battery-meter always shows 100% full. alternatively you could install another icon-set from this forum. watch out if they're for WinMob 6.1 or 6.5 though!)
the cooked-in build of opera mobile 9.5 doesn't work with the hardware-keyboard of xperia. either install build 16194 (iit's from an official x1-rom) or try opera mobile 9.7 beta.
every other question you should ask in the thread of the rom you've chosen.
this should set you up, from here on it's all tweaking, lots of reading, learning and adding apps to your likeness.
i have a problem like this one: i installed the touch it manila cab and then i installed the touch it htc album but... i cannot find the program... what do i have to do?
EDIT: ok i found two exe files in the windows folder wich are : HTCAlbum.exe and AlbumSearch.exe, and when i run each of them i have HTC Album... btw the problem is that i have no text in the menus... what may be the problem?

Mate i looked everywhere, searched forums and then even threads but couldnt locate the cab, im slowly getting used to the site and where to find things so hopefully wont be pestering too much soon
