I have a question, last one is studying the differences between the HTC and the nexus they desire and come to the conclusion that the nexus is more smartphone developers and the desire for regular users Sense...
can anyone expand each sentence or a link to the article very useful
Expand?... one is more flashy and aimed at the average consumer, one is more raw and aimed at the techy folks... I'm sure you can guess which is which.

Well there are some HD2 owners who post here who are kind of self-hateful...

More often than not, you'll run into a user who will tell you the pros and cons of each device. Even if this is an HD2 (of course, with a bit of bias), I have no problem telling others what this phone can and can't do. It can't compete in terms of compatibility and usability with say an iphone, but it certainly excel in all other aspects. If someone is new to winmo (upgrading from an iphone), I would steer them clear of the HD2 and point them toward N1 or other android phones...something that is more akin to their likeness.

The emphasis on the Nexus One forum has gotta be more about the unity and development of android. Not who's phone is the "best." People defending the Nexus One like rabid dogs against the trolls of the forum should be real happy with what we have and be happy for any phone that comes out that furthers the success of Android.
Yes, I've always considered it naive, no, ignorant when people quoted Nexus sales figures as a failure for Google.
Some people just don't understand the difference between operations (volumes), tactics (method) and strategy (end game) in this case.
So does anyone else think that perhaps HTC releases their devices incomplete and in ****ty states because they know they can half ass it and have the community pick up the slack? I know with out some of the big hitters on this forum most android phones would not be as feature rich as they are. How much of the community code do you think makes it into an HTC Sense release for a particular phone?

I would say very little makes it into a Sense release. Ideas might, but actual code, I doubt it.
Now into the actual AOSP branches, there is quite a bit of community code, which is also at the base of Sense ROMs of course. But I highly doubt any of our code is in the HTC code bases.
It's ashamed too. Do they not realize what a freaking gold mine these forums are? They basically got brilliant guys fixing their bugs, finding new uses for their machines, and finding new ways to please their customers. If I was HTC, I would have a whole department just scouring forums like xda-developers for ways to improve my product...and for free too.
Or maybe HTC has a group of developers that work for them to produce products that are more than adequate for the general public who purchase said products, and prefer to spend their time making more with less, instead of less with more. Better for HTC and all manufacturers really, to cater to the majority (of which we, in this forum are not a part of, as we are obviously the higher end users) for that is where the money is. Should note that there are far fewer geeks than there are "normal" people.

So my current device now is the wildfire buzz from htc ... I was going to sell it but after installing (cm9) on it I had second thoughts (thanks to xda-developers )
any way that's not my question ... my question is ( I want to get another mobile and I want it to be one of a kind so I was thinking to get the new iPhone 5 and I was very convinced .. until I saw that magnificent device the Xperia Z and now I'm puzzled .. what should I do ... go with this magnificent android device or try the IOS device that have a lot of people using it right now and saying that it will last for a long time with no problems)
So the bottom line is ... what's your professional opinion about this problem???

Well the Xperia Z and The iPhone 5 are very different in many ways but the biggest is clearly the OS... Android vs iOS. Well in my opinion Android is the better one but that is my opinion... Everyone has its own taste in smartphones so go to the next shop and test some of the newest android devices and then the iPhone 5, watch some comparison videos, read some articles about it, etc.
On the hardware side there are some big differences aswell:
Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core chip for the Xperia Z and Apples A6 Dual-Core Chip for the iPhone
1Gb Ram iPhone vs 2Gb Xperia Z
4" Retina Display with 326ppi on the iPhone vs 5" Full HD 420ppi Xperia Z
Both are pretty awesome devices... So either way you go, you can't go wrong

In my opinion, iPhone was the best in like 2 years ago. After I do root, ul boot loader, install ROMs and port ROMs etc... I will never leave my android... it is up to you whether to choose what but I suggest Xperia Z.

Eh who cares...people will buy what they like better...and in my opinion the sgs4 is a much better phone the one...especially the white HTC one...I think that one looks ugly because the speakers seem to stand out so much

To be sure Samsung is guilty where they're guilty in this. However, people are spinning this out to be "big dog does everything in its power to crush little dog" and criticism of HTC or their products is just "paid shills trying to hide the truth". That's simply not the case, and Samsung is more than capable of sinking HTC in sales, bloggers or no bloggers.
