hi,
I just flashed My devise and liked the Rom. But when I made a backup, which is from another rom, Background of the Lockscreen changed into some ****. I mean the screen where the Numbers are and where I Must enter My passwort to unlock the devise.
Does somebody know how I can change that? I tried to copy the folder "Lockscreen" in windows into My storagecard und put it there again after My backup but it didn't change anything.
SO help me Please.
Thanks

If you restored a backup from another ROM you will likely have many more problems than just that, depending on the differences in the builds.
It is never a good idea to restore system files from a different build, even though the backup program will say it can do it, it can- just not correctly.
PIM restorals can also hose up Manila
**Also, this post belongs in the general section or your ROM's thread as it is not related to ROM development.**
But how can I corrext that?
Which file(s) Must I correct?
Help please..

That's a GREAT ROM, (OK I'm biased) Play with the settings menu 'display', and also the CyanogenMod Settings 'display'. The G sensor should work. There's a free app in the Android Market; QQ player. Try it... it finds and plays many audio & video file formats.

From the Changelog section, in post #1 of the ACA SD ROM thread... You might've posted your questions in that thread.
-*GSensor-Calibration tool: To use it
In terminal emulator type, su (return)
bma150_usr( lay phone flat on back and hit return )
exit(return), exit(return and close).
yeah, i'm use this, it's dont fix my problem

Save your user programs & data w/ Titanium backup. Start fresh. Overwrite or (even better) delete the old Android directory on the SD card. Re-install the ACA SD ROM, and let it create a new data.image file. Put back Titanium backup and restore your programs and data... but now, with a fresh newly created data.image file (save the old one on your PC - but don't use it in the new installation). This should work... but if it doesn't maybe you have a hardware defect. Maybe not... do the G-sensors work in WM 6.5?

Yes, G-sensor work in WM 6.5, Today I re-install my sd rom, delete old data.image and create new, it's doesn't work (**** ), I can't running my g-sensor of any roms android, SD and NAND...
BTW:
How I can edit a file build.prop? I try edit this with Total Comander, but I can't overwrite this file. In thread in rom I reading
The default lcd_density of ACA is 167. Edit the lcd_density= value to 240 in /system/build.prop to get standard sized icons and fonts)

But I don't understand this...
It's now a use AmeriCan Androind NAND, its better for me
How do you know the g-sensor doesn't work in ACA SD Android? What programs which would use it, are not working?
I have same setup as you. Everything should work.
Easy to edit startup.txt on your PC desktop prior to installation. After installation you would need to use a rooted file explorer like 'ES File Explorer' (free in the market). build.prop file is located in SD (card), System folder.
You need to give ES File Exp su privileges... and then go into 'Settings Menu' go to Root settings and check the boxes for Root Explorer AND Mount File System, (this is to make the files writable as the system default is read only. Edit the build.prop w/ ES note editor (will popup choices once file is selected for editing). Finish editing and make sure to go to menu and SAVE. Reboot. Easy.
ALL of your questions here in this thread SHOULD've been posted in the ACA SD ROM forum... not here in general Q&A. You'd get more help there, than just me. (I'm not bad) but not an expert. The only issues you have are lack of knowledge. That's easy to get here at XDA.
Good Luck & BTW ...you're welcome
Bro,
I can't understand everythink.
I use your metod for change lcd value, it's work, thanks
I change my rom for NAND, this same when I have on SD. I find this topic, and I don't know to how I delete this file.
You help me? This is a link for topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10369163&postcount=1
Your original post was about AmericanAndroid... SD ROM. I tried to help but I'm still not sure what the problem is really about. You had WM 6.5 ROM with G-Sensor working, and you say it's not working in ACA SD ROM.
Now you have ACA NAND ROM. - I'm not understanding your setup or real problem (you say you can't calibrate the G-Sensor), but I don't understand how it's not working.
I DO understand this... you CAN'T have Android in NAND and on SD. That can't work. I'm sorry I can't help you more. Take this advice...
If you have problems with ACA SD ROM... post your questions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957652

/cust is a spool. It's a virtual folder created from cust.img and cannot be modified without modifying cust.img. Check the marketplace for an application that does just that. I believe that there are several.
Hy all, I just wanted to ask if I can actually make a backup or save my actual rom with all my configuration (not the sd card data stuff since I know I can copy paste that in or out ^^) Im actually with a custom rom which is great and I've changed stuff from system/ usr and I would like to be saved as well the real question is..
CAN I MAKE A .ZIP OF EXACTLY WHAT'S IN MY PHONE RIGHT NOW? A PERSONAL ROM WHITH ALL THE CONFIG SAVED?
Thank you for the help ^^ did the MAYUS for the people that don't want to read a lot
Of course you can. It`s called nandroid back-up. You can find it in your custom recovery.
So I got a little crazy and deleted these apps without thinking. So basically can somebody give me a copy of the files and inform me how to properly put them back on my phone please? Thanks

Flash a stock firmware via Odin. And for next time apps you donĀ“t want it only freeze. For example with Titanium backup or Link2SD

What version are you in? Did you root your phone? If you are in custom ROM you can extract from your ROM and use Root Explorer to put it to app or pri-app base where you extract from your ROM

odd, once I did downgrade once I never had to download the package again as it is stored locally until I delete it. The recovery tool picks up the stored rom and flashes it without downloading.
Here All Guy's are clever, so they uses their own mind and their own step's.
and the steps they uses that is more simple than you described here.
Why you don't go to settings menu in Recovery Tool ?
Why you don't define your "Custom Package" Folder.
Even you don't have copy any large content into any directory.
Like,
C:\ProgramData\ Etc Etc It's very complicated to backup your Image Files.
Mean, Assume I've more than 10 device and i want to place my ROM files on different Drive for backup purpose.
I.e "D:\ROMS\RM-xyz
Cheers..

you need to use Nokia Care Suite 5 and higher to accomplish flashing.
edit: ok, ignore this. just see the next post for a good tutorial.
Hi @derausgewanderte,
Nokia Care Suite has become obsolete. Use rather Thor2.
Best regards,
