just get the tweaked market place, install it on you internal storage, then search for windows live... installation is quick and easy. all the cabs here so far ive seen are from the old builds.

What is the difference between the two? Doesn't Windows Live Mobile come with Windows Live Search?
I heard that Windows Live Mobile syncs your MSN contacts over and duplicates it in your contacts list, I DO NOT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN.
What version should i use of each program if I don't want the contact duplication problem? I am using the AX3L cooked rom on my Trinity, can some please help to shine some light into this? There seems to be so many different builds and versions for this that i have read. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Windows live search is microsoft's search engine at live.com
Windows live search mobile is a program for mobiles that is basically a mapping/local search program
Windows live messenger is an program for mobiles that is basically an IM/Email program that works with your MSN account. I think this program is also labeled as "MSN" on some devices/installations.
Does that clear things up?
For transferring files using chat messaging, I can't find a better WM6 messenger app than the Windows Messenger that is included in the AP4 ROM.
I want to transfer files with a friend who has a AT&T Tilt/Kaiser. They are using the original Tilt ROM, and they don't want to change the ROM.
I would like to get the CAB or the installer for the version of Windows Messenger I have, so they can install it on their Tilt (preferable the CAB.)
I think Windows Messenger is a component of Windows Live rather than a separate app, and the Windows Live installers I've been able to find don't have a working version of Windows Messenger.
I'd appreciate it if someone can help me find a CAB or installer app that includes the Windows Messenger that comes with AP4.

I found a version of Windows Live Mobile that includes Windows Live Messenger.

My friend installed it on their Tilt and it works.
One odd thing though. It looks like there is a limit to the transfer file size. It seems to be 2 meg limit. This limit does not exist when transferring files between Windows Messenger apps running on XP.
can someone give me a download link to latest version? i searched but it brings back 2 year old posts.

The link you provided is a link to acces via web browser to windows live services included the messenger. There's no more version to run on our ppc this means you have to eat their mass publicity and no recieve messages when you're on your way.
So there's Palringo, e buddy, fring...what else type of msn program would work on hd2?? Thanks

If you have installed new windows live essentials beta, there is a service feature to link your facebook profile to your msn messenger. DO NOT do this, causes sync issues in windows mobile. mainly editing a contact on your phone. i had to change my email account because of this. microsoft are wan**ers and can't help!!!!!!!

I have to say that personally, I've linked my Facebook profile amongst others with Windows Live and have installed the Wave 4 Windows Live Essentials beta and have had no sync issues with Windows Live on Windows Mobile...
