South african Stock listings on yahoo finance?? - HD2 General

i know this is more a question about yahoo finance, but i would like to know if some has figured out how to find non-usa/canada stocks on yahoo finance.
Otherwise i'd have to get some other program to handle it (anyone know of a good one?) but I'd still prefer to have it integrated with htc sense...

email "push" services for the X01HT, etc.?

it has been mentioned in several threads that there are lots of excellent "push" services for the Hermes... like in japan where you have problems using the device with service providers like Docomo and Softbank, and people just go third-party
can anyone recommend some of these "push" services? some URL perhaps, etc.?
thanks!!!
take a look at mail2web, its the one I use. I use it as a permenant backup for my tasks/emails/contacts and calender. Push email works a treat on it also!
looks good... ill try it at home and see if it works in Japan...
on the other hand, i was wondering if anyone has tried emoze - how was it? does anyone recommend it?
cheers...!!!

is there a yahoo messenger anywhere for the 8125

i looked on the web and in these forum and i cant find a yahoo messenger or all in 1 the oz messenger doesnt let me send pics or join a conference i tried agile but its not free if anyone stumblze across one let me know cuz i dont wanna pay for a yahoo messenger wen i am just gonna write like 5 people thanks for the help in advance..
If you want to use a YIM-compatible interface that allows those things, you're probably going to have to pay. Not only for the software, but in data transfer (unless you spring for an unlimited data plan).
Even with unlimited data, though, file transfers will be painfully slow on GPRS. WiFi is better, but you're anchored to a location, then.
And on a personal side-note: Better grammar will get you a lot more responses. Nobody minds deciphering for non-native English, but you clearly are just street-ing everything to sound "Kewl." This isn't English Lit 495, but please, communicate effectively if you expect the same in return.
so what is yim
I use Slick it does Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, MSN, Jabber, and Google Talk.

Sorry, Yahoo Instant Messenger = YIM.
My military penchant for acronyms has betrayed me again.
Yahoo messenger, u may try
You can try the one available here, its free btw:
http://yahoo-messenger.en.softonic.com/pocket
Though it installed alright on my phone but somehow couldn't log in just kept saying "connecting" maybe someone can try it and let us know how to connect.
I would personally reccomend Palringo, availible at http://www.palringo.com, it is also free, and supports AIM, YIM, GIM, MSN/LIVE, ICQ and more....been using it since the Excalibur came out so I know its good!

How Does The Navigator Work In Norway

any norwegians who have unlocked the phone, can you tell me what is not good with the phone, except from the MMS not working yet. Anyone found a solution to the problem. I have a Chess service myself. I also wonder how I can get all my contacts from Outlook/my htc touch cruise to the G1 phone. Anyone solved this. What about connection the thing to my hotmail account. On my HTC touch cruise this is very simple.
Is the phone worth the money??? Looking forward to hear from you.
Best regards
Morten
Howdy
Cons:
Battery life
No decent IM app yet
Screen gets greasy fast
MMS is working if your provider supports having all the information in one single APN settings file. I am not sure if Chess supports this or not.
If you haven't already, get a decent data plan. That is one of the things I am struggeling to find in Norway, espescially on Telenor. You could get Mobilt Bredbånd, but to a price of 499,- NOK for unlimited, it isn't so tempting anymore. The only option I see is the iPhone bundle that Netcom have, but I want to use Telenor, so I am ****ed.
The easiest way I found to do this, is to download a program called KiGoo. This enables you to have a folder in Outlook that is basically your Google Contacts or your Google Calendar. I just synced all my Contacts from my Nokia E65 to Outlook, and then just copied them from the Outlook folder to the KiGoo folder. It worked pretty good, and almost all details got copied (Names, all phone number, e-mails and all important stuff is copied, and remains in the correct fields as well, unlike the Funambol Android Client, which puts commas in the Last Name field if there isn't anything there), and is the best solution I have tried so far. And believe me, I've tried LOTS of things.
It seems that .csv exporting from Outlook don't work, since Outlook uses Norwegian in to describe the values, which Gmail obviously don't understand.
I wouldn't have my hopes up for the Hotmail thing.
I haven't used hotmail since I was 12, but back then you had to have Hotmail Plus to be able to access your mail via POP3 or anything other than Webmail and the Live Client for windows. The only solution would have to be to forward all incoming mail to your Gmail account, and I don't know if hotmail supports that with out Plus.
You can access your Hotmail account through the browser, but it is only retarded, the Live page isn't optimized for mobile use, and it would just get annoying after a short while.
I would just change my email to gmail, which in my opinion is superior anyways
You can still use your Live ID on MSN so that is no big deal really.
Hope this sorted out some issues for you

HEi i need hellp
Dos any1 knows if the G1 haz a norwegian t9 ?how do u manage to write sms with it ? since he dosent have the æøå

The handset has a full qwerty keyboard, why would there be a problem writing SMS? You get all special characters holding the corresponding key.(a=å, o=ø etc..)

How to get Dutch stocks in Stock tab from International version?

Have the international English TP2 and think that I can only get US stock info from Yahoo in my TF3D stocks tab.
Does anybody know how I can view Dutch stocks (Euronext small caps) on my Stocks tab?
Not sure about smallcap, but my midcap stocks are labeled with .AS.
So; Fugro can be searched as fur.as; and AMG is AMG.as.
Checked for ascx - and indeed works the same way.
Kas is ka.as
Just check coding on Yahoo finance (http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=KA.AS as example)
