Do you still have Keyboard?
if yes go to settings select input and select,
small keys ,now your keyboard should have a caps lock key
have a nice day
Cool ! Got it.
What did you mean by "do I still have keyboard ?"
Should I replace it with something ?
Caps-lock is double tap on the shift key, right?
Use Resco keyboard
Hi to All,
Apart of "phone pad" problem I discovered yesterday, I have just found new "feature" on my Qtek9100. When I use hardware keyboard typing SMS messages, occasionally (again) I have put my keyboard in state like I permanently hold "blue point" button, i.e. I can write all "blue" symbols (e.g. digits, ~, ! etc.), and in order to write letters I have to hold down "blue point" button. It is very annoying I must say. First I thought, that I put my device in some short-cut mode by pressing combination of keys, but according to user guide, there is not such state.
So my question is - anybody experiences the same, and if yes, any cure available?
Thanks in advance,
Regards
A quick double-press of that key acts like a "lock" - like a caps lock, if you like. To disable it again, double-press it.
Same goes for the shift key.
John
Thanks very much jko.
I just wonder, why those handy tips are not described in the user guide, but of course this is rhetorical question
if you haven't done so yet, do the tweak that shows you whether you have the FN on or caps on(keyboard indicator I think its called). its in the big all tweaks topic and also included in the optimizer/wireless G .cab
hi, is there anyway or software that can make qwerty on snap as navigation button, because i feel more comfortable with button rather than trackball, thanks b4
you can remap a key to run a specified program...like the envelope button starts yout text/email...you can have another button start your gps program
An
I think the question is : "It is possible to use the keyboard to navigate within the menus instead of using the trackball"
And I do not have the answer... Maybe by playong with the kmap file ? but that would mean abandoning some letters from the keyboard... Not really wishable, is it ?
Dose anyone know how to change the input method with keyboard? Thanks a lot
If you want to use the alternate character for the key you can long press the individual key, press fn for a single use or long press fn for a locked position. The up arrow works the exact same way for capitalization. The ae key brings up the special characters for the entered letter and the smiley face is the emoticon button. The sym key brings up the onscreen keyboard symbols and don't forget to use the .com button while browsing.
Take a look at page 17 of the user manual and it explains things pretty well.
Also note that if you enter the people, messaging, email and search and a couple other things with the keyboard closed you can slide the keyboard open after entering and it will place you in the text field ready to type without an extra screen press. This is a very good keyboard if you get used to it.
Hi all
I am wondering about something. Is There a way to disable the onscreen buttons, when the keyboard is open? But now can the main question is can the back button be left enabled so you can close the keyboard. I find that I am constantly hitting the home button when using the keyboard, and would love to have that disabled while the keyboard is open.
Thanks to any help.
