no, you cannot fit, the circuit board cutting is differnt, 2nd, the 6828 front panel buttons are different from atoms.
Yes, you can.
For sure. I did it.
Just only phone call button problems, but OK.

Hi
I am looking for an additional cradle for my XDA II and on ebay there are quite a few XDA I cradles for sale.
Should the cradle for the original XDA work with XDA II
And my second question is that I have 1 dead pixel on my new XDA II, is this common, should I take it back but maybe risk getting another XDA II with even more dead pixels?
thanks

The xda1 cradle is too small for the xda2, I think a little could be shaved off the internal part of the cradle to make it fit but if you force it in you will get a scratch on your nice shiny xda2, i know because i did it myself.
Hi,
Iv been watching these forums for a while and have had a xda exec for over a month. I like the device except there is something which has realy made me wonder something. I cant find the answer so i though somebody might know the answer to my question.
On a xda exec, on the back of the device where the usb connector is, far left to that is 2 rubber circles. I'v taken these rubber circles out and there is two gold connectors behind. My question is what are these connectors for?

Hi,
Was thinking of buying one of these for my XDA IIi but I understand the battery is 5mm thicker. Will it fit into the standard case? If not, what solutions have peope found? I prefer wearing the unit in my belt.
Did a search and no-one seems to have answered this question.

The 2400mAh battery will be accompanied with a dedicated backcover and it could be forced into the standard case
OK thanks. Sounds like it can be 'forced' in an acceptable way?
yes it can be forced into the leather case... i'm using one currently...
Thanks guys, I bought from DigitalEra
Works great, 5 days without charging for me so far
Hmm except that it dies occasionally.
The green light flashes but the screen is dead, no ActiveSync, need to remove the battery and re-insert in order to reboot.
Whaddya think? Par for the course or faulty battery.
Dear all,
I am wondering if i can replace my broken pda2k screen with a pda2k EVDO screen?

thanks.

you should always look for the same ribbon color for replacement.. I guess your pda2k has a gold ribbon while EVDO sometimes silver...

Do you mean it can't be replaced by a pda2k screen totally?
Thanks.

From what I understand of the construction of the BlueAngel (PDA2K), both models are internally "effectively" the same. It is only the radio device which is different between the two.
Having said that, it should be entirely plausible to swap the display between the two devices - although you do need to ensure that it is compatible with the video board (driver) in the PDA2K.
From memory, the panels I've seen in the BA are ones made by Toppoly, and Sony. The core driver chip should be an ATI one in all BA's. If you have a different chip (doubtful), or yet another panel manufacturer, then you might want to double check things.
Gut feel says it should be as simple as swapping the two. Good luck on the repair!
My dear old Touch HD just fubared on me, or to be more precise, the button that controlls the power on/off and screen on/off is messy and is kind of pressed at all times which makes the mobile useless :/
So I wonder if anyone wants it or atleast the two batteries I have for it? One of the batteries is a Momax 1500mAh (which seems worse than the standard batteri Im afraid)
If so lemme know
Post the price for parts i guess.

Just a query, have you tried to pull the power on/off button back using tweezers?
I'm from the UK (if that matters.. No idea)
I'll take the batteries, and any spare screen protectors or cases you have. Just bought an HD, and lookin' to pimp it.
If you have one of those desk chargers for batteries, that'd be cool too.

I have an unopened Invisible Shield package if you want.
For all of you, I dont want any money for it, just pay the transfer costs and Im fine
i have a broken Touch HD i think my board is broken (or bricked).. everything is working fine.. it lived to 1 month then it broke.. :/
I could use the cover as mine fell down and is very scratched.
If you are going to sell parts of this you'll have to abide by forum rules and use Market Place
Hi, you can help me! i would need the screen panel and the motherboard part where is the SIM...you can really send to me?
