Hi all,
I want to send pictures from my QTek 2020 to a Sony-Ericsson T610 mobile phone...
I can receive MMS-messages without any problem, but when I send pictures, my friend always get an error "Unsupported picture format".
I checked my resolution and changed that, but whithout any result.
I asked my friend to send a pic with his phone and noticed that the pic-format is a GIF-file (and not a JPG, like I'm sending).
Does anyone has a solution for this problem? Or does anyone has a JPG to GIF convertor? I can't take pictures in GIF-format...
Thanks for helping me!
Sam

Hi Rudegar,
Thanks for your reply!
I checked your link but you can read this "Use HandStory Converter on Windows for easy and convenient conversion of texts and images from your PC or the Internet."
There are lots of tools on PC to convert images, I do have enough of them, but I need to convert them on my PocketPC to send them as a MMS.
More suggestions?
Thanks again!
Sam
here are a few results from google searching for
Image editor pocketpc
because when you can edit then you can save and when they support different formats then you can often save AS a different format

Hi - I have just got my new Blacktone and i'm new to win mobile. I have enabled bluetooth and have successfully transferred a picture from my old phone onto the blackstone (it's a jpg). The problem is i don't know where the pictures are being saved to. They dont show up in the 'Picture and Videos' section and i cant find them anywhere using the file browser.
Please can somone help?
Thanks
You can find them in the \My Documents folder.
I've looked in there - do you know what sub folder it should store them in?
Files received over Bluetooth are normally stored directly in \My Documents not in any subfolder.
After you successfully receive a file, the HD asks you if you want to store it on the device. Have you done this?
I worked out what it was if anyone else has trouble.
There is a little icon at the top of the screen near the start button. You need to click on that and then it asks you if you want to save the file. Click Save and then it saves into \My Documents just like you said it would.
Thanks for the help, K_Hismoom - much appreciated!
No problem. Happy I could help
Hi, does anyone know how to change the default location of bluetooth beam files to storage card? Thanks.
Speaking about Bluetooth, i was trying to connect to the HTC HD from my Hp Laptop and it finds it but as soon as i click to connect, it says "Service File Transfer is not found on device"
what do i have to do? My brothers Nokia works no problems.
EDIT: I can send from HTC to PC but not the other way round.

Hi Guys
I just got my Touch 3G (love it) but still getting to grips as its my first smartphone.
The problem I'm having at the moment is trying to send, for example, a picture via bluetooth. I've done a forum search and understand about using bluetooth explorer or the beam file option from file explorer.
What I'd like a definitive answer on is this: If you're in the 'Photos and Videos' tab of touchflo and viewing a picture, is there an option to send the file from the image menu? Sending items from file explorer etc doesn't allow you to see what they are before sending them, only the file name.
Thanks in advance.
As far i know, you can't send photos or video's form the touchflo image viewer. U have to use the windows file explorer. It was to bad that HTC did not make an option to directly send photo's from the touchflo photo tab.
Try this

how the hell do you send multiple files through bluetooth. its not possible to do this. i can only send one file then i have to send the other. i wan to highlight say 3 music tracks and send them using bluetooth. but it dont let me. any help
Go into Settings tab > menu > all settings > bluetooth. Click right hand tab, select BT Send Object. Select Audio, highlight the files you want, press SEND.
And be glad you don't have an iPhone, which can't even send one file over bluetooth.
thanks man
Hi i had a question. can you send .CAB files over bluetooth? how can we do this?

Well I think you could have tried this, it is very obvious.
In file manager, tap & hold the file and select "Send via Bluetooth".
well, you can create a zip archive using any free tool and send them, I'm currently looking for an app that enables sending multiple files, but I only found old ones that support infra red >.>
it's helpful for sending multiple objects that don't appear in the BT send object menu
[edit] Resco File explorer apparently sends multiple files via bluetooth (sending different types of files at the same time as well), but it's a paid app
Use Dropbox
I've found a workaround... I send multiple photos to dropbox then cut/paste them from dropbox to whatever folder I want. That way I don't use up the allotted space with dropbox. Works for me!
