I have an unusual problem. I'm using elf with following confirguration
Touch version : Elf

CID : DOPOD001
IPL : 1.11.0002
SPL : 1.11.0000
ROM Version : 2.20.710.2
ExtROM Version : Blue Elves v5.0
Operator Version: None
AKU Version : 1.1.0
Page Pool : 8 MB

ROM Size : 128 MB
In addition to this I'm using S2U2 utility with fullscreen caller picture indicator, battery status plugin as well
When my phone battery is 50%, the phone reboots on its own. Then at about 30% it reboots again.
I've also started noticing battery drain while I don't use the phone too much except for making some calls and using a bit of Wifi.
Please advise.

my elf restart with incoming call if the battery less than 50%

Happens the same to me. i bought a new battery. Flashed with 10 different roms. Put the original Rom and activated warranty.

I've got I problem with flashing wizard that got into my hands. I've tried almost everything, read FAQs etc. Nothing worked. Wizard (O2 Xda) has WM 6.1 loaded but this version of rom doesn't work well. It's slow and when somebody sends text message windows turns the screen backlight on and its on until user manually turns the palm off. The result is that when I get txt msg or missed call and I'm away from phone I end up with flat battery. I've tried to flash extended, radio roms, cid unlocked - nothing worked. RUU makes Wizard eneter bootloader mode - 3-colour screen and error [264] appears.
Interesting things are versions of IPL and SPL.
IPL 1.25.0001 SPL 1.11.0000 !!!
It could suggest that it's both G3 and G4 version.
I've installed Wizard Service Tool 4.22.

I think I have a compete dead HTC Touch ELF here. Someone I know tried to flash it but he bricked it, so I decided to try some things out. He already bought a new cellphone so if I can revive this device I can use it.
Now the problem is it doesn't respond to anything. When I try to reset (Camera button + reset button) nothing happens at all.
When I connect it to the PC (using USB) and I reset it find a device called "PocketPC USB Sync" (Windows 7), but still no screen
So I tried various things from the stickies but nothings seems to make the screen function again.
Could anyone help me further?

I have now discovered something. If I connect to USB with no battery, do a hard reset and insert the battery, an orange led turns on.
with any luckthis is what i am looking at making a guide to fix. I have one in the same state.
Theres not alot that may help, but it may be worth looking at the recover your elf thread. Should be in the rom section. May be something there to try. You may find this thread gets closed as you're not meant to post a thread per each phone though.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I've already tried different things out those stickies, except that Goldcard since I'm currently unable to do the first step.
I'm sorry for opening a thread than, I'm new here and my only intention is trying to get this cellphone back to work!
Edit: I think the screen/screen controller is broken. I managed to install an original ROM from the HTC website. Now sometimes it does those Windows Mobile Alert sounds.

open it up and check that the ribbon to the lcd is attached/ damaged, i think the lcds go for about £15-20 at the moment. They're real easy to change, just be careful on the latch at the back.
Could the no screen be the result of something going wrong when flashed?

i'm not an expert when it comes to that, but i'd guess its highly unlikely. It could be worth checking ribbon etc first, rule that part of hardware? Do you have a second elf? Could try that lcd with it if you do and don't mind opening them.
I removed the screen and placed it again (checking the ribbon). Still not working.
I do not have another ELF to test the screen.
When I try flashing again it seems its unable to get the old version number ("Ancienne version" in the picture). Is this normal?

As you can pull the device info and flash stuff, it doesn't sound like it is dead... Have you tried running MyMobiler to see if that can connect to your device so that you can see what would be on it - Will help decide if it is dead. It will prompt to install on your device though, so you will need to guess and press the left softkey after running the exe on your pc.
If you have flashed a new firmware onto it though, you would probably need to realign - May be able to your msp_remotealignment for that - Not sure.
When I try the Remote Screen Alignment and I press "Skip" it gives this error message:
"An error occurred while trying to configure the remote device. Please reinstall Remote Screen Alignment"
MyMobiler doesn't want to connect, but it also says "Running on your mobile" and sometimes it pops out "Connected", but still doesn't work.

No I didn't had the time to go look for a new screen yet. I'm not sure if I will either.

i am using P3400i windows Mobile 6 Professional CE OS 5.2.1622 (Build 18128.0.4.4) and i am getting a weird problem after using a while the device hangs and operates very slowly..... when i open my messages it hangs for a while and when i minimize it and go to the memory options there i can see that the program memory is increasing and decreasing again and again it continues until i softreset the device...... i tried hard resetting the device where everything is gone no messages nothing and noe it works fine, but when i restore my messages and try to use my message application to mesage... oll over happens again..... i dont no whether it is memory leak situation or not ..... i've around 30,000 messages including inbox sentbox.... i thought this is the problem but how it can be?? i thought may be its a virus thingy then i used dotfred's tast manager to view the processes running in background but i couldn't find out the suspicious process i can say that because i am a computer student and i've some knowledge about the process..... then i installed antivirus hoping may be it is hidden process but no it detects nothing... i also tried to upgrade the ROM but stopped myself as i am novice in these flashing the ROM area and confuse in which ROM to use as i dont want to brick my device.. is there anybody who can help me with this ?? i love my GENE device very much....
and do anyone have official ROM which can go with my GENE? as i no P3400i has no upgrades officially but custom ROMs...

first you have to change your spl(i think you haven't done yet) for change your rom.You can try any rom,if you don't like rom try another
