Got this kickass vista screen,but..........

I can find where they shortcut are,
for example
where the shortcut for running program called
or key lock
or storage card, is this stuff in windows
can i use the phone pad as a T9 input for SMS msging
how do i change the bootscreen and shutdown screen???
so many questions so little time

no replies
over a 100 view and no reply, thanx a bunch

Patience....the wiki - link above holds many answers for example regarding T9 there's an application called phonepad that is available here from the wiki link:

Hey,
I have reviewed the list of control panel applets and tested them. I will attach all of the working HERMES applets. All of these will display the default icons used in the control panel. If you change these to .txt files you can see the links.

Hi All,
This is the latest version of Topaz Tweaks.
Please feel free to give your comment on it.
Note: Use it at your own risk!!! Must be install in Main Memory
Topaz Tweaks v1.2 consist of the following tweaks:-
1. 2 Way Plus InCall Recording
2. Enable SMS Wake up Event
3. Boost TFL3D Performance
4. Enable Manual Screen Rotation (Portrait/Lanscape)
5. Enable Burst, Sport, Video Share Mode
6. Increase Maximum Picture Size in Burst, Sport & Panorama Mode
7. Prevent screen switching off during phone call
8. Four icons in a row in WM Programs/Settings screens
9. Move Emails & Attachment to Storage Card
10. Enable Better Power Management
11. GPS Performance Tweak
12. Unlock TouchFLO 3D Program Launcher Tabs
13. SD Card Tune Up
14. Speed Up Camera Capture Speed
15. Increase volume during call (NEW)
16. Disable SMS Send Notification
17. Set Phone End Key Delay to 0 second (NEW)
18. Use Manila in landscape mode (NEW)
Removed: Change Bluetooth Device Name.
You can still change the Device Name using the following step.
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\Settings change the String Value "LocalName" String to your perfered Name.

Is there any way you could post how to do these manually? I'd like to pick and choose which ones I apply.

Well if you wantto select what you want to tweak. I recommend you to use Advanced Configuration Tool v3.3. It work very well with Topaz.

For 2 Ways In Call Recording you can refer to the two threads:-

Just to enable the 2 Way In Cal Recording you can use 2_Way_Plus_InCall_Recording.cab but this you need to click record in order to record the call and it record to the main memory in wav format.

Advanced Config Tool
It would be great if you can merge the items from Advanced Config Tool customized for Topaz.

Personally I am using Advance Config Tool also but I felt that some of the tweaks are not compatible with Topaz so I went to look for the tweaks individually and try them out, but every time I need to key them in one by one. So that is why I came out with this cab file for the tweaks that I have used on my own Topaz.
These tweaks that I had complied are tested working fine on my Topaz and it safe me a lot of trouble when I hard reset my Topaz for testing purposes. Just need to install the cab and all the tweaks that I always used are load within seconds.
I think I have covered most of the tweak that has being highlighted in Advance Config Tool just that you can't change the value. And I believe Advance Config Tool is create for general usage not just target for a specific device.
Let me know which tweak would you like me to add in this cab. I will be glad to do so.

No, you need to click on the record then it will record if you want to record all calls automatically, I would recomend you to use ACR.
The tweak I use only enable the function of call recording which was disabled by the manufacture.
Feel free to ask me questions about the tweaks I would try my best to answer them.

It seems to be close to 'Diamond Tweaks', isnt'it? I read somewhere that HD Diamond Tweaks would work fine on the Diamond 2? I cannot tell as I have not received the Diamond 2 I ordered yet.

That is what I thought so also when I start tweaking my Topaz. Had tried both HD & Diamond tweak but it is due to the location that the registry are being stored it defer abit from diferent devices and Topaz also have its some uniqueness also.
So I came to understand it and started consolidating the perfect blend myself and guess this is what I come out with.

I came across this tweak for other devices and started trying it out on my Topaz and it seems to work fine.

Well this tweaks are actually tested on Topaz and proven working. I have not tested it on other device.
You can give it a try, the following tweaks should work becuase I used them before on my Kasier before such as the following:-
1. Enable SMS wake up event
2. Prevent screen switching off during phone call
3. Move Emails & Attachment to Storage Card
4. SD Card Tune up
5. GPS Tweaks
My advice is try it out with care make sure you back up before trying.

Actually I'm considering installing your tweak all together even if it means that I have to uninstall some of the features which I have on my D2 indivi dually (camera mods,SD Card Tune Up etc). I only asked about the option to turn on and off the call recorder app. because I don't need to record all my calls.

Rotation, but not for all apps - how to do it?

Hi everyone.
I've been reading the forum and I know about apps like Gyrator, tried it but it doesn't do what I need (or I don't know hot to set it up properly).
I don't want to have rotation on for all apps all the time (including the OS) and then make exceptions, I just want to enable it for a few more apps in addition to the default ones (like Word, Excel, Adobe Reader, IGo).
This could also probably be done manually by doing registry hacks, but I'm not sure how...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Change the icon size

Hey guys,
Since i found the icon size pretty big on the HD2, i want to make them a lot smaller.. so there'll fit more on the screen at the same time.
How can i achieve this?.. i already found some forums on the internet wich indicate i have to hack the register and change some regs.. wich i dont prefer

There are cabs that makes the changes in registry for you.. If you don't want that then its not possible =)

Icon size changer
I found a useful program: Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.5.4.cab
Simply copy the file to your SD card, run Windows Mobile Device Center, File management, and click on it to install it.

As stated above, use Co0kie's Home Tab. You can select 3x3, 4x4, 5x4 or 5x5 quicklinks on the home tab (amongst other stuff).
Incidentally, don't go for v1.54 - that's way old. There's v1.61 available now with much more options in it.
You'll probably want to look at the CHTEditor that helps you change the settings for it. You can get the link for that out of my signature. I've read that the author of that application is particularly handsome and smart, and all the ladies love him! lol

[APP] Manage accelerometer on SE Xperia X2 with X2AccelerometerUtility

Hi everyone,
i made this little application to menage the accelerometer on the SonyEricsson Xperia x2.
As you surely know, on the x2 accelerometer works only for a limited number of applications. And in most device, it's simply disabled at all...
With this app you can:
1) Enable / Disable accelerometer
2) Select the applications you want to rotate using the accelerometer
Soon i hope to add some functions to manage the accelerometer at a deeper level.
The interface is very simple, consider that i made the entire app in 48h... but it works.
Hope someone appreciate it. I did .

P.S. I don't know if and how it can work with other devices. Consider that it read and write registry keys that i think are specific for the xperia x2 (HKLM\Services\MultiService\Mods\Rotation\AADRClients\...), so i dubit it can work with other devices.

This is a great application you have made for the x2! Much needed and working flawlessly! I have used it to rotate a number of applications on my x2 including notes, messages, adobe, etc. But i havent been able to figure out how to use the accelerometer to rotate TASKS in the X2. When i select tasks.exe (In the X2 Windows folder), exit the accelerometer utility and do a soft reset, it doesnt rotate the screen when I start TASKS. But it works flawlessly in all other applications.
Can you please tell me what i am doing wrong?

Yeah got it! Add Windows\shell32.exe to the "rotating programs" and the todayscreen will rotate. The Windows menu also rotates
