Since two weeks I have a mobile touch hd with rom by Tim 1.13. Occasionally there is a bug. For example just now I was on the contact screen and pressing the X I was unable to close it. I can do nothing but stay in that screen. The problem is not resolved even using the physical buttons ... I have to turn off or reset.
i have installed tom tom 7 and Opera Mobile 10 beta and FInixNOverBatteryIconsOnly. i have just removed fixinoverbattery but bug still occurs...

I've had a strange problem with my BA (SX66) with both the WM5 and WM6 ROMs.
After about a weeks usage and when browsing the Web using WIFI, the WIFI icon at the top of the screen flashes and then my screen goes black. If I try to reboot, it sticks on the Green Windows Mobile screen.
I have to clear the hive, and reboot losing all my data.
Has anyone else had this problem? I don't know if this is a hardware or software problem.
well here i have the same problem but mine is battery related (i think)

My first thought was that it was battery related. However, I think it happened to me once on a nearly full charge. I did the No, Yes, Yes hard reset and will test it once again.
I wish HTC would make a Blue Angle II with 3G.
I cold booted my BA and didn't add the HTC Home cab. It appears that the HTC Home cab was causing the problem. I ran the phone for several weeks without HTC Home and I haven't had a problem with it locking up.
Now I'm trying Helmi's ROM with Explodes HTC Home.

I had this problem b4 when it stuck in the green windows mobile screen. I thought it was backup software issue, but then realise that a lot of people had this issue with different circumsatances...
the only solution worked for me was to clear the hive and restore backup data. Some people suggested in the forum somewhere (I forgot which one) that you have to go to bootloader screen, and then reset... or keep reseting until it works (i think some dude did it 18 times and finally worked )
It happened to me about 5 times on helmi's rom.
since i moved on to minhanh's rom, never had this issue anymore, but i still keep doing a lot of backups, just in case it happens again.
Now, I am waiting for Xplode's new up and coming rom and hopefully this issue will never occur again
I have a trinity and until Friday loved it. Suddenly it has started to automatically reboot itself every 2 minutes or so.
I have loaded NO new software or changed any settings for months. But reviewing the drop menu I see 2 SPB software icons have now gone blank. SPB Traveller and SPBWallet. I assume it is a software problem even though have worked fine for 8 months.
I have deleted the software but still have problem. I also still have the two blank icons on menu.
Tried a Hard Reset but cannot reset. Tried a soft reset but will not action the reset button.
Absolutely frustrated as it just loops and even the old Hard Reset is not working. Anyone had similar or heard of a way to fix?

Im having a similar problem with my spv m700 most of the time phone works fine then just reboots for no apparent reason (phone does it even when sat in car holder so cant accidently press a button). sometimes just does it the once other times it reboots 5 or 6 times and others it reboots a couple of times then crashes at the orange screen and has to be reset. mainly seems to do it while running tomtom but that could just be because it runs that most of the time anyway hasnt done it while making a call yet.

Do you use bluetoth head set?
Is the software (spb) intaled on main memory or storage card?
no i dont use bluetooth and the software is installed in main memory
left tomtom off today and phone still reboots? so dont think its a tomtom problem also doesnt matter if the phone is pluged in or not still the same
It seems to be kind of a hit-and-miss situation.... with more misses than hits....
I'm using Helmis AKU3.5 "final"?? rom that he did (before the "service pack") and it works amazingly... except for the fact that i'm scared sh!tless to perform a soft reset if anything locks up.
The freeze occurs after the HTC boot screen switches to the Windows Mobile loading screen (that green one)...
I have a feeling that it has something to do with the HTC home screen which has been mentioned on a forum or 2 on the net but im sick of searching.... which i love to use coz of the eye candy and has links to things i don't use... and the audio manager which i use flawlessly (sort of) with my moto-s9 BT stereo headphones with a few regedits...
But more to the point when i soft reset it freezes. And no matter how many soft resets i try.... and i have tried many (10+) soft resets during a meeting... and leaving it to load (which I have left for over 2 hours one time) to no avail... in the end i have to hard reset and restore all my settings/software.
Please let me know of any fixes to this as i would like to use the home plugin.
I have so far soft reset three times in succession during this posting with the HTC home today screen plugin disabled and have had no freezing.
Software version:

Windows Mobile: 3.50.00 (Helmi's one that u dont need kitchening software for)

yeah figured it out, updated to helmi's wm6.1 using the kitchening program u guys rock!!!!

I have soft resetted, hard resetted, cleared all info. from the "saved" folder, and still the same issue...

Hi there, have you found a solution to this? I was using igo8 without problems for almost a year and now when press exit, the phone freezes.

do you use ark switch task manager ? i found out that if you exit ark switch first and then trun on your igo8 you won't have any issue on exiting igo8. i had the same problem with igo primo and exiting ark switch before running igo primo somehow fixed it.
you can give it a try.
I have a custom rom on my tilt2 - Illuminati and as a matter of fact it comes with ark switch cooked in. However, i like MMTaskManager more so I removed its autostart feature. I felt that something has to do with using a custom ROM coz before when i was on stock rom Primo was running like a clock. Btw, I miswrote above. My iGo 8 installation worked and works without any problem. It is iGo Primo that I cannot exit properly.
Actually I sometimes have the same problem with iGO8 and so does my wife. I have a Touch Diamond 2 and she has a Touch Pro 2. Neither of us have ark switch...
I have a strange problem : I can't swipe down the notification bar and sometimes when I unlock the phone the touch screen doesn't respond at all until I lock it and unlock it several times or let it rest for some minutes .I even rebooted it to recovery once and the touch screen didn't respond . the problem persisted with me using two versions of slim kat and liquid smooth 3.0 (stable versions).
Any ideas about the problem? Any potential solutions ??
