Thr weirdest thing just happened to me. I unlocked my HD2, and on the home screen there were 2 calender entries showing. One was a meeting I have this afternoon, but the other is not in my calender. It said something like 'Staff meeting Seattle office room 1800'. After I looked in the calender to find it, it was gone when I returned to the home screen.
Anyone else ever experienced anything similar?

Ok, let's say, I have an appointment today at 7 pm and I had one this morning from 9 to 10 am. Now, it is quarter past three (where I live) and the Touch HD still shows me the morning appointment instead of not displaying it as it is already over.
When I now start the calendar and edit an appointment, as for example the evening appointment from today and save all changes, then TF3D updates and only shows the appointment at 7 pm.
Why doesn't it update the appointments by itself? It cannot be the intention to either restart the device or to edit something in the calender, can it?

Appointment from 9-10 o´clock and at 10:30 o´clock the appointment still at the home tab. The bigger problem is, when you are have the sound-option "vibrate on appiontments" active, the vibration is at 10:30 still activated without an appointment around 10:30

Damn...well, I do not have remind functions activated...but nonetheless, it is not acceptable the way it is.
But according to http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/forumdisplay.php?f=211 many german user do not have this problem. I'm suprised that it works in many cases correctly. So what could it be? I hard resetted the device three times already but no change.
same problem here. I checked the date settings (didn't change anything) and went back to the home tab though, everything was ok....!!!
It is annoying, but is corrected when I update and save another meeting, then the old meeting disappears finally from TF3D. Seems to be a problem updating between the Winmobile calendar app and TF3D. So either MS or HTC have to come up with a fix.

Appointments do not update
I have the same problem. I had an all-day event marked in my calendar for yesterday. This morning it was still showing on the TFL3D today screen.
I went into the calendar and came back out to see if the appointments would update, but they didn't.
Had to soft-reset for the appointments to update. Surely HTC don't expect people to soft-reset every morning so that the appointments update? Has anyone worked out a fix for this? Mr HTC, please can you fix this!

My HD with DUTCH language has the same problems After a few calls to HTC Europe in UK its now finally registered as a known issue and I'm assured that they work on a hotfix to solve this worldwide problem.
A temporary work-around is to programm a daily 'empty' appointment from 0.00 till 0.00 without any alarms or whatever. It will show up on your hometab like all the other appointments, but it will trigger it to refresh the data each morning the 0.00 passes.

same problem here, i just added a 0.00 to 0.00 apportionment, will let everyone know if it work by tomorrow. Thx michedenhaag for the fix
One week visibility
Do you know if it is possible two have one week visibility for the upcoming events on the home of the TF3D instead of one day ?
I've the same problem and also with my mail. I let my device retreive mail every 10 min from an Imap account. But when I turn on the device then it sounds and vibrates that there is new mail. But with TF3d off it will ring as soon as my mail enters the box. So I think that TF3D has a bug with updating from the registry.
Another user with the same issue. And just like sstolk, I also noticed that emails and sms messages only update after I unlock (as in resume from standby) the device.

i have the same problem, i hope for a fix.
A possible (temporary I hope) solution is to rely on ActiveSync.
Create a fake exchange profile in ActiveSync and set it to update every 5 minutes (might create a connection, unsure). From what I saw so far, every "sync" forces TF3D to update. Might not be foolproof, but for now it has worked for me.
Ok, the last suggestion turned out to be false hope.
But I have a new theory. My TF3D calendar worked just fine for 3 days now (without any resets). What changed? I have not connected the phone to my PC during these three days. So the new theory is that when syncing stuff over activesync TF3D somehow fails to reconnect to the database - turning it off and on after a sync might perhaps solve the issue.
Still haven't found a permanent fix for this...
Anyone else experiencing it? Any idea how to fix it?

I got the Touch HD a couple of days ago. Since then I've installed a few applications, the last ones were TomTom and a couple of games.
Whenever I start the Windows Mobile email application, a black screen appears and it says "Click here to start TouchFLO 3D". A few seconds pass and it changes to "Starting TouchFLO 3D". Then, the Today screen appears. I cannot start the eMail application whatsoever. TouchFLO is running and works in all other applications, however.
Has anybody ever experienced something like this? Is there a way to reinstall the eMail application or fix this problem somehow? Your answer would be very much appreciated.

I am observing a somewhat relatedmbehavior to the one you describe.
In my Blackstone device, the TouchFlo3d Mail application only shows me the Hotmail mail account. However it is unresponsive the first time I land on it, and need to swipe my finger to another application before it lets me traverse the mails in Hotmail.
Another weird thing is that it does not show my Exchange account email contents. I notice I cannot swipe my finger on the right hand side of the panel to move between the two account icons.
In addition, I have lost all visibility to my exchange folders.
Finally the rest of my exchange account seems to be syncing fine: I see my contacts and calendar, and I can send mail.
Any ideas on why one observes this behavior?

Messaging not working either
Forgot to mention that going to the Messages tab, I am not shown any SMS, and the ones I used to have in the device have disappeared.
So, in sum, I am shown a "no messages" message in both the Messages tab, and in the Mail tab of TouchFlo when looking at my Exchange account.

Hi all, I have added friends birthdays as appointments in my calender. They appear in the day view or week view, but not in the month or year view. You have no idea when there is any apopitnments. Is there a way to have say for example the day in bold or a different colour in month and year view?
Also I can not find any place where i can see all my appointmnts? So if i have to look up somoens birthday.. i cant?? If i have to remember what week they are in then go to that week, whats the point. Surely there is a way to see all your appoinments somewhere?
Also what i noticed, is if you complete the birthday field in the contact, thats no use, a it doesnt appear in your calender.. which is strange.. whats the point of having a birthday field, if it doesnt show in the calender?
I have looked at Thembcalc, and although it shows you have something in the month view, you still dont know what. So if I wanted to find out when "Jim's Birthday" is.. i'd have to scroll week by week until I find it. Its not just for birthdays, but any event.. For example you book a concert in advance.. say 3 months in advance.. then you forgot when it is, so you have to find it.. Is there a list or something that you can view all events/appointmenst etc.. sortable by name/date.etc ?

Strange, I always get a triangle which indicates there is something at that date in month view, it won't say what it is untill you click on it, but atleast it would show whats on for that month anyway. All day events(like birthdays) is represented as a green square.

if you set the contacts birthday field from outlook (PC), it automatically add it to an appointment...if you do it from PDA it doesn't......very strange....and useless of course to have to set birthday always from PC.....
I have tried adding the birhtday in contacts on the pda, and it hasnt gone into the calender, hence why i added tem as appointments. I dont want to sync it to my home or office pc, as i'd prefer the phone to my my primary organiser. My office has all work related stuff (heaps of stuff), and my home pc is used but my other hals etc, so again has more stuff then just what i need. Oh wells.. i can live with this issue..
however how can i get the list of all the appointments in the calender.. and be able to sort/and search for different fields.. ?

Has anyone had the problem where when there is an event scheduled for today, on the homescreen it is shown as for Tomorrow. I have noticed this to be the case when I have nothing in the calendar the next day the events for today will be listed under tomorrow.
Any thoughts as to how to get rid of this bug?

I never found the cause, and I haven't changed anything to my knowledge, but it isn't doing it now!

I also had this problem. But noticed that it got corrected automatically when I active-sync with the computer, then everything corrects itself.
Not sur what causes the problem,but I once got it when I used google map and then got a call. After the call and I closed google map. I saw the same problem as you mentioned. I got it fixed when I used activesync.
I am also having the same problem, i have to do a soft reset to fix it. Is there a fix for this problem or?
Ok - I was keeping an eye on the calendar whole day yesterday and today...
1. The items for today afternoon which are listed as tomorrow changes to the correct way after 1pm
2. After an event in the calendar is over, it doesnt remove it from the screen for a few hours!! Yesterday I had an even that ended at 3 PM and even at 5PM it was still in my screen. It was only after I opened the calendar that it disappeared.
Could it be a bug with outlook calendar or would it be the Touchflo 3D??

Hello, I have the same issue, and I noticed that the TF3D doesn't modify the appointments when the day changes at midnight. So things for tomorrow stand for tomorrow when tomorrow becomes today. It is fixed if you soft reset, or open the event and save it with no change, or if you sync with the PC.
My best way to fix it it to do a soft reset when I wake up... Maybe i will install an app doing an automatic scheduled soft reset in the night. But if I do so, I have to disable the PIN code althought I can not get a call until I enter the PIN number.

Yes, lot's of people had this problem and it has been discussed here already, so use search option for possible solutions.
There are ROMs with latest versions of TF3D - installing them will solve this issue for sure. If you don't want to do it, you'll have to wait for official fix from HTC (if it ever happens).
The last 10 days all of a sudden no appointments show up in the agenda views widget. I use pocket informant 9 and haven't made any changes the last 3 months.
Does anyone know how to get the appointments show up again?

All of a sudden things work normal. I didn't do anything (no reboot or whatever).
I wonder if it stays this way.
