From my Blackstone era, I've kept backups of my SMS'es in a messaging folder structure. I've used PPCPimBackup for backup/restore. On the HD2 ROMs (which I have tried so far), this folder structure is not available - it doesn't seem to be supported by the HTC messaging client.
Is there any way to access SMS'es with the standard Windows Mobile messaging client (i.e. along side Outlook mail)?

Is there any way of removing/hiding mailboxes from the default messaging application?
I currently have:
Hotmail
MMS
Outlook E-Mail
Text Messages
Windows Live
But I don't need them all, and they get in the way. So i'm wondering, would it be possible for me to remove:
Hotmail
MMS
Windows Live
from the messaging application, so they don't get in the way, and take up valuable screen space? I don't want to have to remove any programs if I can avoid it, nor do I want to use a different messaging application.
Hi. I was wondering, if there is a possibility to download mail from multiple eMail accounts to one folder in the default messaging application in Windows Mobile 6 ? Right now I'v got 2 different folders for 2 eMail accounts. I want one folder (for example "eMail"), where I can recieve eMails from those two accounts. Possible ? Maybe any plugins to do that. Did some search, but found nothing (anyway still searching ;p ). I was using FlexiMail 2007 for a while, which has this function ("Local folders" folder), but I want to use default messaging program. Thanks for any answers.
i'm pretty sure it would at least require a 3th party program intergrating with outlook to manage that
easy workaround would be forwarding all mails to a gmail or hotmail or something from the other mailbox's and just have that in outlook
is there any way to keep htc messaging but add sms back into the winmo messaging software (tmail.exe)
so that the tab still leads to HTC Messaging, but when opening my mail i can still switch to the SMS folders and few them that way
I'm also looking for this. I keep a long history of texts, and used Pocket Outlook on my HTC touch HD to organize them in folders. On the HD2 this is no longer possible.
Does anyone knows if its possible to view threaded sms in outlook instead of the annoying HTC app?. Used to have this feature on my old Tytn2......
Hi, Traditional Mode is the only other option that I'm aware of on the standard ROM but, like Outlook, it's not threaded (seperate Inbox, Sent items etc.).
Hello all,
I use Opera as my email client on the PC, it has a specific database format.
I would like to be able to import in the PC the mails I have SENT with the phone (Desire HD on Android 2.2.1 so far)
The received mails are easier because i just don't delete them from the server on the phone and so they always appear as "new" on the PC, I don't use IMAP because I could never get it to work properly on the PC and so I'm looking for an app that takes the sent mails from the phone, exports them into the mbs opera format and then reimport them into opera (or at least generates and mbs file which I can reimport manually in opera)
Is there such a thing that exists around ?
Thanks
