Hi first thing I will say is this is not for XDA but for SPV E200. I am aware this is an XDA forum but after seeing some of the things you guys have been able to do with the XDA ROM/OS I thought I would ask if anyone in here could help with this problem due to the similarity of the devices and the fact that they are made by the same company, HTC.
I have posted this originally in a Modaco forum for Smarphones but noone is technically capable enough to help.
If you could read the link below and reply if you think you are up to the challenge of hacking the SPV to get rid of this extremely annoying "complete lack of bluetooth range in headset mode" problem.

It is really hard to come up with something because I have no idea about your device
Try to contact your brand reseller and ask him for system updates, or check forums that are dedicated to your device for such updates. System updates can usually resolve such issues in 70% of cases
Try to minimize 3rd party software usage and check your devices again
Try Pocket Bluetooth Tools (both versions; check for url at xda-dev frontpage)
Try to change your coat/case/cover because it might have BT radio frequency reducing effect
The hardware is HTC, just like the XDA.
The reseller is Orange and they are bringing out the C500 to replace it as they have given up on the E200.
Orange have no intention on bringing out any more fixes for the unit.
All I need is for the power to be increased in the bluetooth transmitter when it is in headset mode.

They all have better functionality as in they work with more headsets, but none of them increases the range.
I am on the latest Orange E200 UK release currently. I have scoured the web for a fix and found nothing, hence my last ditch attempt to see if someone can hacl the phone.
What about the rest E200 users

And what about other e200 users? Do they have the same problem?
You don't need any hack. If you use your BT headset in BT discoverable mode, then BT radio works at a maximum transmission rate, if in usual BT on mode, then BT transmission is adjusted to the environment (bonded devices)
So far, love the phone but I have two issues that I'm wondering if someone can help.
1) On some system screens, for example, when pairing a bluetooth and select "add new device", the right edge of the screen is cut off when in portrait mode. It seems like the length of the screen has fooled the x1 into thinking that the right edge should be wider and so the resolution isn't supported. Any tips on this issue?
2) When pairing a bluetooth device, sometimes either I get a "bluetooth hardware problem" message or the pairing code seems to be incorrect, although of course its always 0000 for all my bt devices. Should I take the phone back or is this happen for all devices currently?
i have the HK xperia which is I think the UK Generic ROM and no updates are at SE's site.

My norwegian (or rather swedish) key's are not working correctly. They do not output æøå, but if I press the "alt" key they work fine. (ie return, "," and "?")
Anyone have any idea how I can get them to work?
I saw a unit the other week with the same problem. I ended up not buying and got the i8000 instead despite really liking the b7610 as the store owner claimed he'd talked to Samsung who according to him were working on a solution. I would assume a Swedish b7610 rom should have the keyboard working. Otherwise, why put out a hardware keyboard that doesn't work. However due to the store keepers answer I became uncertain and opted out.
Which ROM are you running?
I'm running the same rom that it came installed with, it reports windows mobile 6.5 and CE OS 5.2.21686.
Not sure what other ROM information i can give.
Hmm. I'm uncertain. Afaik the ROM should contain the Swedish mapped keys. As I said according to the salesman Samsung are having trouble with the 7610. I would suggest the following:
Contact either the point of purchase or Samsung directly and report a faulty unit. It's their obligation to ensure it works properly. If not, demand a refund.
The magazine Mobil in their latest edition tested keyboard phones. The B7610 went up against the HTC TPII, Nokia N900 and many other powerful phones, and it received the highest score. Why don't you contact them and ask what ROM their unit was running - as apparently their keyboard must have been working for it to win the test. You could also report your problem to them. If they publish news like this, Samsung may react and rectify the situation.

Therefore I just enter a shop and bought this nice and cheap LG,
but I made a mistake,
my mistake I know, I did not check what WM7 is.
I couldn't even imagine that all my software could not run on WP7
There is no navigation turn by turn yet on Marketplace, that anyway I should rebuy
no Outlook sync (simple one and not on clouds), incredible.
Therefore, I've just put it on Ebay (item 180582667810)
and go to buy an HTC with WM6.5 soon, I hope.
Or maybe check better and read for Android one.

point 1. this has been known from the start, as they refreshed the whole thing completely.
2. you can use bing for turn by turn navigation...
3. The reason for the lack out no direct outlook sync is because so many complained about activesync not working properly, they went that way. You can easily set this up in the cloud by merely dragging/dropping your stuff into hotmail...
You should give the product a go... not just toss it a side because all your old products don't work on it.
if you explain exactly what your needs are then xda members can help you. so far the only real issues which im not happy with is the lack of file management. i used to be able to bring my phone to work, plug in, and download stuff from xda but not anymore!!!!
I've been reading this very useful and special forum and others only after I bought the LG/WP7, all last w-e, unfortunately.
I know it was my fault, I was too much confident and to quick at buying.
Bing/maps, I tested last w-e, are not really what I need.
I've a TomTom licence and my personal POI for work, I prefer to continue to use.
I need it and my other sw & tools this week,
I'm not so patient to wait all sw house to develop their WP7 version, if they will,
and I am not glad to pay more for the sw licences I already bought.
I'm 48, I'm coming from Compaq 3130 B/W with external BT GPS.
I love the new tecnology, but I still like the .cab way where else the market for me it to much crawded of games and music.
I'll pass to Wm7 maybe later on.

The problem mentioned by the OP is strictly related to WP7.
The LG is definitely a good device, with large storage capacity.
Get an HD2, it's still awesome hardware, or simply switch to Android, e.g. an HTC Desire or Desire HD/Z.

sorry but I've already sold it on Ebay, it's flying to Norway in this moment.
If you buy an Android phone and the Missing Sync, you can sync wirelessly (WiFi or Bluetooth) with Outlook (+ music, pictures, custom folders, SMS, call log and more).
It's nice not having to worry about plugging the phone in and syncing manually, I think.

Unhappy upgrade problem (need help)
i am in great trouble these days regarding my phone, i have lg optimus 7, it is brand new my bro just bought it from uk, it had windows 7 by default then i upgraded it to mango via Zune and now the issue is that after upgrading it to mango the speakers stopped working , phone rings properly when someones calls me, when i receive a sms and when alarms starts, but does not work when i play something myself.

You could buy a New Windows Phone 8 or 7 whatever you like! You can buy a Nokia Lumia 800-900 (300-199 $) or just a Windows phone 8 :
Because have Nokia Maps ( free turn by turn ) and for Outlook, Windows phone has integrated Outlook so you can sync with everything email services. XAP is pretty easy to use, just download it on your phone.
Why no old Windows mobile:
Marketplace is closed.
Windows phone 7-8 is Always fast
Email app is just fantastic and fluid
You're Always connected no emails notifications lost.
Why no android:
You have to optimize ( with Windows Phone is ready to configure)
Only for NERD ( Windows Phone don't need roms, kernel and etc...)
Android is very fragmented (Only Gingerbread and IceCream Sandwich you can fell the differences, Ok Windows Phone 7 and 8 but still good)

I wanna buy an Android box like the Scishion V88 for my car-pc project. For Google Maps and other Apps, I need GSM and GPS and I know no box, which provides both.
So my question: Is it possible to upgrade GSM and GPS USB sticks on Android 5.1? On my research, I found some topics but these topics are very old.
I think it's not plug & play but no problem, because I wanna use an custom rom for the box.
Have anyone information for me?
