Well, this is a bit puzzling, I have got this ROM (1.48.405.2 + Radio 2.06.51.07) on brand new, sealed HD2 (from Virgin UK). All the details are exactly like on the screen above.
How is this possible? New batch?
I'd assume since we've all tested it here... HTC have given the green light to ship
I found this puzzling too, I have a recent Virgin HD2 and I have downloaded the updates to it from the HTC website. EXCEPT the ROM upgrade, as when I downloaded that it appeared from the downloaded file name that the Protocol and Radio Versions I have on my recent Virgin HD2 are already newer than thoses shown on the downloaded ROM upgrade.
My HD2 software information is exactly the same as posted above.
Please could someone clarify, am I supposed to install the ROM upgrade from the HTC site please, I couldnt work out whether the instructions were for someone already having 1.48.405.2, which I have or whether the download upgrades from that. Thx.
I assume that the virgin rom contains most of the hotfixes preapplied. Hotfix 0091217 contains this radio upgrade.
Yeah, mystery solved, 'SIM contacts fix' is in fact radio update to 2.06.51.07
Since HTC has became "quietly brilliant" they are completely rubbish when it comes to inform what exactly all these updates does.. There is only marketing blabbing like "everything was brilliant and now is going to be ever more brilliant"..
This ROM is very fast and stable!
Thanks for the replies I totally agree its confusing, I know for a fact that the stock virgin ROM didnt incluse the pink camera update as that was a problem i fixed from HTC's site with noticeanle improvement. So it looks like some have been applied and some not, thanks for the ifo on the radio, does anyone know if the HTC protocol is included in Virgins ROM as thats a different number to the number on the HT website download as mentioned above. I have extracted GSM.nb from latest O2 ROM, and created an Artemis NBH for radio upgrade only, I think this is the latest radio available for Artemis now, if there are any newer please let me know.

The radio update will not install. After selecting the USPL program, it says : rom update corrupted.
Why?

Same here, I SIM and CID unlocked my Dutch MDA Compact III a while ago, but I want to update the radio only. I did not use the USPL method, because my device is allready CID unlocked (am I correct here?).
When I try to update the radio-rom it says: rom update corrupted.
What goes wrong?

Try this one:
Artemis Radio 02.93.90 (GSM upgrade Only)
As the UK MDA doesnt have WiFi will this radio work OK as it usually updates the Wifi part as well.
and what is the advantage of this patch?
Are there any differences?
I would like to know too what the advantage is of a Radio upgrade. Does it provide better calling quality or such?

Same problem. The Progress bar reaches 100% but my PC give the error: 270. I currently have the original MDA Compact III rom installed, is that the problem?
hi found this not sure if anyone picked it up or not i found it by luck
its a rom upgrade for the HTC Touch Pro2 but has in lower case HTC Touch HD over the top
you think its a screw up or someone in htc feels sorry for those with a HD and is trying to sneak this in under the radar
any thoughts and is any one running this rom now

hmmmm whats up with that? am afraid of trying it out and then brick my phone if that is even possible to flash it.. i thought ROMS are very specific devices ie for one device only
Afraid someone in the website department messed up.
When attempting to download it will always give the following error:
Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device.
Tried with all serials from the wiki and my own. Could not find a rhodium one but i guess when you enter that it will let you download it.
Also the screenshot shows a rhodium not a blackstone, was afraid this was too good to be true but, nice find anyway

looked at other areas that have that rom and this is the only one that has the HTC hd bit in it , and if the serial doesnt work cos i did the same thing looking a serial that works but no luck , what about trying to find another way to get that rom number from a different site , just say it does state that it works on the hd so they would of done some work on it at htc and fix some of tthe bugs

Think I could 100% guarantee this is not meant for the HD and is infact an error on the HTC site which has been overlooked

so, in this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=722281 , they say that the radio version of this rom is 32.41.00.32U_5.08.00.04 (same as the last desire rom) , and the bootloader version is HBOOT-0.35.0017. can this be useful for the devs ?
edit : it seems that the desire version of this radio has new driver that were the key to implement 720p on it.
I don't know if this is useful, but I flashed it successfully by crafting my very own update.zip
This update.zip doesn't have the HBOOT as I have no idea how it impacts the rest of the phone and the flashing/downgrading capabilities of the phone.
I ONLY TESTED IT WITH MY PHONE! IT MIGHT NOT WORK AT ALL WITH YOURS!
Tested on a T-Mobile version (900/AWS/2100 MHz, European version)

We have 4 HD2 in our family, all flashed to the same ROM, RADIO ... one day, one phone just messed up ... didn't boot, was stuck at the T-MOBILE sign ...
We tried everything (including Task29 ...) to fix it, but still no luck ...
Then, my bro traveled to Vietnam and took his phone to HTC authorized service center.
They fixed, unlocked it and installed this radio 2.07.51.22_2
Now, it works just fine with T-MO, Simple Mobile & AT&T. No problem whatsoever.

please post a screen of your hardware info page and your bootloader screen.
everything we know says
1 you can't run 1.x roms on a tmous
and
2 ..51.. radios brick tmous phones.
so my first thought is they swapped out your tmous mainboard for a regular one, or its a custom rom with fake version info.

SO his board got replaced with a International One... Since it only has 512MB?
SO now it must be flashed with .51 radios.... Or would .50 Mess it up thats another question thats important

he can use either. It won't matter.
I just flashed it with .50 radio and custom ROM.
