I have extracted GSM.nb from latest O2 ROM, and created an Artemis NBH for radio upgrade only, I think this is the latest radio available for Artemis now, if there are any newer please let me know.

The radio update will not install. After selecting the USPL program, it says : rom update corrupted.

Same here, I SIM and CID unlocked my Dutch MDA Compact III a while ago, but I want to update the radio only. I did not use the USPL method, because my device is allready CID unlocked (am I correct here?).
When I try to update the radio-rom it says: rom update corrupted.
What goes wrong?

As the UK MDA doesnt have WiFi will this radio work OK as it usually updates the Wifi part as well.
and what is the advantage of this patch?
Are there any differences?
I would like to know too what the advantage is of a Radio upgrade. Does it provide better calling quality or such?

Same problem. The Progress bar reaches 100% but my PC give the error: 270. I currently have the original MDA Compact III rom installed, is that the problem?

We have just got a 512MB SD rom dump file for 1.12.07chs.
And we can't dump the radio stack.
I'll try to upload it to ftp.xda-developers.com..... of course ... with poor access speed.
Yeah, we need Radio 1.13, because 1.12 seems a little buggy to me. I really think about downgrading to rock stable 1.11.
SignX you don't have to upload whole 512MB just cut out the rom from image file using some hexeditor the end for every rom image is ASCI seqence HTCE in hex 48 54 43 45 or just cut the first 64MB, rom isn't bigger than that.
Also to extract just radio part do the following according to buzz_lightyear http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=24563
enter bootloader mode and in mtty issue command:
d2s 60000000 00300000
this will dump radio rom to SD card.
after that the SD card needs to be read using winhex or psdread.exe

What kind of bug did you encounter ? I'm running 1.12 with Radio 1.12 without any problems, very stable.
So: what's the bug (s) ?

I got the CE rom only.
wsx's rom was upgraded by China Dopod Service Center and he only
dumped the CE rom.
I'm not sure where the radio stored or stay together with CE rom?
and , after radio dumping how can we flush it to our PPC?

Try tu use standard T-Mobile upgrade software - shipped complete, like"UNI_TMUK_12032_120_10600.exe" , maybe it will solve your problem.You can find it: ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Universal/Shipped_Complete_Updates/

In PIC I used MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe to update with O2 Exec Rom

I have a recently bought a HTC Wizard a few weeks ago but i have some questions for CID unlocking this device. I have already read that page for getting my G3 or G4 version which is :http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Wizard_Versions
My first question is:
When i soft-reset the phone it shows:
IPL : 2.16
SPL : 2.16
OS: 2.16.1.4
But when i'm uisng Wizard Service Tool 0.3.0.3 (I have firstly executed EnableRAPI.cab on my phone, and launched ActiveSync as a Guest mode.)
with Device info, it gives:
SPL: 2.16.0000
Registry AKU: .2.0.0
OS: 5.1 (Build 14847)
ROM: 2.16
Extended Rom: 2.16.1.110
Radio: 01.04.10
Protocol : 4.0.13.17
So before starting to downgrade my Wizard, i'm really confused about my version of G3/G4.
My second question is:
If it's correct, which version of ROM should i use for downgrading my Wizard before using Lokiwiz 0.3.

your device is indeed a G3 because the SPL shown by WST doesn't have the 1 at the end.
I didn't think it would be confusing to show all the digits (2.16.0000) because it's well known that G4 have the 1 at the end but the fact is that the 4 digits are there in the flash; the SPL at boot simply doesn't show them
I guess i can make a change to the program and have it explicitly say which generation it is: G3 or G4
Regarding the second issue it is an absolute requirement to have an IPL/SPL 1.xx (and OS too!) in order for the CID unlock to succeed. But you can use WST to CID unlock as well

Firstly i've ran the downgrade from my ROM to Button Rom 1.05, and WSE showed IPL 1.01 and SPL 2.16.
I have ran a second time the downgrade (Button Rom 1.05) and my IPL/SPL was set to 1.0.1.
I'm just attaching my screenshots if my process was OK.

Well, this is a bit puzzling, I have got this ROM (1.48.405.2 + Radio 2.06.51.07) on brand new, sealed HD2 (from Virgin UK). All the details are exactly like on the screen above.
How is this possible? New batch?

I found this puzzling too, I have a recent Virgin HD2 and I have downloaded the updates to it from the HTC website. EXCEPT the ROM upgrade, as when I downloaded that it appeared from the downloaded file name that the Protocol and Radio Versions I have on my recent Virgin HD2 are already newer than thoses shown on the downloaded ROM upgrade.
My HD2 software information is exactly the same as posted above.
Please could someone clarify, am I supposed to install the ROM upgrade from the HTC site please, I couldnt work out whether the instructions were for someone already having 1.48.405.2, which I have or whether the download upgrades from that. Thx.
I assume that the virgin rom contains most of the hotfixes preapplied. Hotfix 0091217 contains this radio upgrade.
Yeah, mystery solved, 'SIM contacts fix' is in fact radio update to 2.06.51.07
Since HTC has became "quietly brilliant" they are completely rubbish when it comes to inform what exactly all these updates does.. There is only marketing blabbing like "everything was brilliant and now is going to be ever more brilliant"..
This ROM is very fast and stable!
Thanks for the replies I totally agree its confusing, I know for a fact that the stock virgin ROM didnt incluse the pink camera update as that was a problem i fixed from HTC's site with noticeanle improvement. So it looks like some have been applied and some not, thanks for the ifo on the radio, does anyone know if the HTC protocol is included in Virgins ROM as thats a different number to the number on the HT website download as mentioned above. Yes I tried with qtek ship update tool. Nothing works Stuck at 0% too
