On my HTC D2 in the contact details, cant find the tab for updates and events that i can write down facebook profile and links, any idea how i cant get or update the TF3D ?

With HTC Sense aka TouchFlo3D enabled:
Goto Contacts (with slider).
Click on More (bottom left option).
Click on any Contact that you wan't to upload to Facebook.
Click on Edit Contact (or whatever it's called in English) see Screenshot 1:

The problem is my HTC is a middle east version and not WM 6.5 isnt released till now, maybe a quick more question : if i downloaded one of the official WM 6.5 ROM and upgrade
will i be able to install my mobile middle east release when its released ?

What ROM are you running?
I have tested this on stock VZW 6.1 (TF3D 2.1) and stock VZW 6.5 (Sense 2.1) and do not see this problem.

It doesn't need screen shoots because there is no changes at all my Sense UI has its original look with no changes in the icons
Did you restart after installing them?
Are you sure you downloaded the correct version (Compressed vs Uncompressed)?
restart is a part of installation process.
i used both compressed and uncompressed versions and the result is the same.

its almost same like with WWE version regarding battery, performance etc.
I just tested ROM a few hours.
First of all its very very quick.
But somehow I cannot change the wallpaper... each time I open the jpg file
the window closes and quit!
=> SOLUTION : copy the wanted wallpaper on main storage : \My Documents \ My wallpaper
For now the solution is ok, I guess a more comfortable solution would be nice
Furthermore ROMeOS4_CO0KIE_HOMETAB+EDITOR_1_6_1 does not work.
Cannot see Today-Screen or any other quicklinks...
Just some more facts:
I updated facebook app, because in the ROM is only old version!
First of all, no deinstalling of the old version, I have booth versions
on my HD2 now. No matter which icon I push, only the old version starts.
I tried ROMeOS4_DINIK'S_ANASTASIA_ICONSET_v1_0.ZIP and some icons do
not change : Camera, Nachrichten, Kontake, WLAN-Router just to name some.
Manila TV Tab would be nice + Cookie's Hometab + Editor !

Hey, I've just update my ROM form the HTC website. Now I've got Manila 2.5 and just searching thru the new menu and finding some things. I've noticed that you can't change your sms notification sound in Manila. But with some searching I found it a Windows menu
The thing that bother me the most is that I miss the arrow in the right top screen that gives a view of all running programs. Is there a kind of way to get it back?

You don't read anything about the WM version here, it's called: ROM Upgrade for HTC Touch Diamond2 Releasedate: 2010-03-18
For the first WM 6.5 upgrade it's called: Windows Mobile® 6.5 Professional Upgrade - HTC Touch Diamond2 Releasedate: 2009-11-03
Or is it only a manila update? (if that is possible).
EDIT: Just update to ROM version 2.53.404.3 and about to find out what's different.

Btw did you guys got trouble with synchronising hotmail? I use @msn.com and I can't get it intergraded into HTC Sense.
sorry can't help you there sometimes i use Windows Live via StartMenu but i hate that all the email-adresses come in to my adressbook when you connect

I check that OS Version is 25018. Is it newer than 23XXX ?
Sofar I didnt find any issues, except that Music and Foto & Video Tabs in Sense do not rotate to landscape mode Is it because the OS version? or is it just a bug?

thanks for pointing that out for me. I will try and fix that for my next release. It should be out shortly!!
I have designed a new rom from scratch. I have gone back to stock look and tried to make the rom with a combination of speed and battery length.
So far in about 3 hours of testing in standby with HSPDA on the battery dropped about 1 to 2%
I have skinned the home screen slightly just to make the rom look that bit better.

I have now been able to fix the volume tab which I had issues in my previous roms. I am still working on the rotation issues with music and pictures tabs. If you can tell me how to fix this let me know and I will include in my next release.
