Hey, I've just update my ROM form the HTC website. Now I've got Manila 2.5 and just searching thru the new menu and finding some things. I've noticed that you can't change your sms notification sound in Manila. But with some searching I found it a Windows menu
The thing that bother me the most is that I miss the arrow in the right top screen that gives a view of all running programs. Is there a kind of way to get it back?

You don't read anything about the WM version here, it's called: ROM Upgrade for HTC Touch Diamond2 Releasedate: 2010-03-18
For the first WM 6.5 upgrade it's called: Windows Mobile® 6.5 Professional Upgrade - HTC Touch Diamond2 Releasedate: 2009-11-03
Or is it only a manila update? (if that is possible).
EDIT: Just update to ROM version 2.53.404.3 and about to find out what's different.

Btw did you guys got trouble with synchronising hotmail? I use @msn.com and I can't get it intergraded into HTC Sense.
sorry can't help you there sometimes i use Windows Live via StartMenu but i hate that all the email-adresses come in to my adressbook when you connect

Yes, it does work. You have to use version 1.5, as the 2.0 version only works on WM6. I used to use it. I've moved on a another product that I think is much better. Check out http://www.pointui.com/ (PointUI Home). It is much cooler, and it runs really well on the Sable.

Are you sure that it can work? I tried it, but the only one what i´ve got is a big hole in my screen.... Hw6915 works on wm 5.0 -so i have tried version for 5.0.
I mean the problem is in resolution of HW (the plug in is made for classics 240X320 and my device kas 240X240...) So what shall i do?

Some bad fact about this rom:
1. Sometimes the ROM is very slow, especially in work with Windows Media.
2. Very bad suuport of russian language. SMS, Tasks, Contacs, ect. ("Standard" WM Applications) work correct with russian encoding, but Audio Manager, Mobile Word, and in some cases Windows Media Player have wrong encoding.
But, it's very good!!! Very-very good ROM!

What ROM are you running?
I have tested this on stock VZW 6.1 (TF3D 2.1) and stock VZW 6.5 (Sense 2.1) and do not see this problem.

It doesn't need screen shoots because there is no changes at all my Sense UI has its original look with no changes in the icons
Did you restart after installing them?
Are you sure you downloaded the correct version (Compressed vs Uncompressed)?
restart is a part of installation process.
i used both compressed and uncompressed versions and the result is the same.
I have tried many diferent roms the file 093284a8_manila haven't change

i think that this keyboard is not in your rom..this is not swype!!
i am on 23547 Max Mar 17 and it doesnt have this keyboard!!
I did have the cab for it, but it always said that its not compatible with this version

Looks great. I wish it was possible to skin this over Swype so that it would position properly in 6.5.x, or even to skin the default HTC keyboard, as it already properly aligns itself in 6.5.x ROMs.

yeah it would be nice to have it as a skin for swype, coz we could use it in any rom.
Still, Im hoping a chef includes this keyboard in his rom, that would be amazing.
