I was running originally DamageControl Sense 2.1 ROM w/Espresso. FANTASTIC ROM!!! Like a **** i went against the cardinal rule "if it aint broke dont fix it". I decided to go to DamageControl v2.0r2. Big mistake. The speed difference was noticeable (slower sadly enough with my experience) and then I encountered the wifi issues, the sync issues, the overheating, my battery going to **** as a result. This upset me more than anything else because after the fact in searching through the thread after it was up for awhile more and more of these issues were coming up but the thread's title and most of the info on it still read 100% WORKING OMG WTFBBQ ECT!. This should have been changed. Neither here nor there. SOOOOO.... I decide to go back to DamageControl Sense 2.1 ROM w/Espresso which is what i was using before i switched to DamageControl v2.0r2. AND NOW THE BOOT LOGO HANGS. So I decided lets try Darch's v4.2.2, AND AGAIN STUCK AT BOOT LOGO. So I decided to go to Fresh again, I was using fresh 2.0 and loved it at one point so I flash the rom and O WAIT ITS STUCK AT THE BOOT LOGO. I see DamagedTrev rom and I would love for this to work. Its what Damagev2.0r2 should be. (IMHO of Course) AND IT GETS STUCK ON THE BOOT LOGO.
Here is the list of actions I have taken:
Between each flash I wipe both data/cache
Not using Apps2SD
Latest Version of RA
and as a last resort
I UNROOTED AND STARTED FROM SCRATCH!! AND STILL NOTHING.
Sorry if its a rant. I am not calling out devs. I am not ungrateful. I am not a noob. (I am just covering the possible flames) I just want an answer. Its not a single release. Its a variety of them. Nobody really came out and said it but in searching (yes again covering the flames) i can only guess it might be the PRI issue, If so please confirm.
I know you say you unrooted, but try flashing a 1.5 ROM, such as Pancake. Also, try downloading the ROM again, as I think the very first time I tried flashing the new DC, I got the same problems as you. I downloaded again, and it flashed successfully.

ty you for your response. i went to fresh 1.5 after i re-rooted. i downloaded the rom multiple times different computers different mirrors, still no luck. I called sprint and got my msl. i did the pri fix and still got nothing but a boot logo. i know you have to give it some time and all but overnight should be more than enough lol. am i stuck? this is miserable.

I am very curious as to how you applied the PRI fix if you can't get anything to boot, please enlighten me?

i miss my iphone. soon you might see a post for *HTC HERO FOR SALE: DIRT CHEAP!* i have never been so frustrated with a mobile device before.

as i said i was able to unroot and go back to stock. it would let me do that. from there i did the pri fix.

So I thought you unrooted and nothing would work still!
Can you root using the kitchen?
What is your PRI?

There doesn't seem to be any guide on rooting the mytouch 1.2 and putting CM 5.0.7 on it, but many people seem to be following the guide at Theunlockr
I just read a few people posting that the sappimg file is corrupted or there was issues, so I'm kind of nervous about using it.

I recently rooted my 1.2 using the unlocker's guide, for some reason after I rooted it was stuck at the magic boot screen, but then I just booted into recovery and was able to flash a rom that way... Whats the newest radio right now anyway?
p.s. Yea it's pretty safe if you follow it exactly, just know if you mess up the radio and flashing part your screwed...

is there any recommendation or do you know why you have this issue? I read reading some people do a factory reset, but not sure at what step I should do this or if the mean before I even start anything?

Thanks so much for the link and the help. So if i follow the instructions, when it gets to step 10, use update-cm-5.0.7-DS-signed.zip instead of FenderWRoot.zip?
Since the instructions don't cover the google apps, how do I actually install it? I'm trying to read as much as possible before touching anything

right flash cyanogen 507 and then flash the google add on apps right afterwards then reboot...
no need for FenderRoot ROM... its just the old stock ROM

Not sure what you mean, are you implying I don't need to use the google add on and that it's already part of cyanogen? Thought for legal reasons it had to be seperated
hey guy HTC Snap s510 will not turn on. it gets frozen at the smart mobility page. I have tried hard resetting but it doesnt work. i have tried a bunch of different SPL installers but the get through the step, then when it comes time to install the firmware it wont get past 0%. Right now i just want a way to get my device back up and running with or without WM 6.5. thanks and i am really looking forward to getting this fixed. and if you tell me to searth through threads for answers i just spent over 8 hours searching the web for answers and i am about to give up.

I do want to confirm for you though, Ozone(Cedar) HardSPL as well as [ROM][CEDA/OZONE][WWE][* 3VOLUTION SERIES *][WM6.5 STD 21854][Build 3VO.2.00.122209] are working with my Telus S510. Hope you are successful in the recovery of the phone, I will post if I come across anything I think may be helpful.

After allot of time i managed to make mtty to work
and i followed the tutorial.
Now what tho.
I need to flash the original telus rom but i cant find it

I got through that guide as well, but when it comes time to flash the rom, it hangs at 0% and then gives me error 262. I go through recovery but it still doesn't work. I dont have hardSPL either, is there any way to get HardSPL from bootloader? Also, when i try task 28 in mtty again, i get :
Format start
Fill RSVD information for block 351 to 384
TAG NOT FOUND !!! NOT CLEAR STORAGE !!!
Format end
also, the telus rom you can get from a search.

Anyway, if it doesnt work for you, it wont work for me either, cause we are having exactly the same problem.
It would be awesome if we can Install hard spl from bootloader.
But no1 seems to be able to help us.
We are the only users who are bothering to reply as it seems.
Is it an official signed rom you need or the recooked raws? (Not sure how successful I'll be but if it can help I will see if I can recook them.) As for the official signed rom, I haven't been able to find one myself as of yet.
we need the official telus signed rom
Because we didnt hard spl our phones, we're stack.
So either the official signed rom, or we need to find a way to hard spl our phones through the tricolor bootloader

I'm stuck at the same with with my Mobilicity Snap. I went through the HardSPL and it said everything was successful but now my phone is bricked because I failed to notice SPL 1.24 still on the tri color screen. I also would like to know if there is a way to use MTTY, some other tool, or get hardspl onto the phone through the bootloader. HardSPL hangs on 0% from the boot loader for me.
Also tried MTTY task 28, task 29, reboot, reflash to no avail.
We all seem to have the same problem, I'm surprised it hasn't been addressed yet.
I guess there's no luck finding a factory rom for the s510 series...?
You guys are braver than me, I won't attempt a flash unless I have an out waiting.

Hey guys I just flashed the CM glacier full 17 from the site, it was getting quirky so i thought id revert back to my old stock rom. When i reflashed with the new wer version of clockwork 3.005 it's frozen on the title screen.
I mean it dosent boot at all any suggestions? I wiped everything and tried to flash again, notta nothing. Help a guy out thanks!

You're in the themes/apps section, so you won't get a whole lot of exposure for your concern. CWM 3.0.0.5 is for Gingerbread, if you are going to stock you'll need to revert to CWM 2.x.
Are you reverting to a nandroid of the stock ROM or are you downloading a fresh version? Is the Market the ONLY Google app that is not working? What about gmail or gtalk?

You need to Fastboot flash the old recovery. The new recovery only works with 2.3 roms not 2.2 roms

use 3.0.0.6, from the development section, you can flash 2.2 and 2.3 roms.
You can find the google app to by instaling gapps which you will find on cyangenmod listed with the link to cm7, just flash it no wipes just drop it in and then when you reboot itll offer the option to setup market, do to some proprietary information rules or laws or whatever cm7 doesnt include it in the rom

Just flashed the Synergy ROM on my EVO, but it has been at the white "htc EVO 4G " screen for about 10 minutes. is that bad?

Is this required? I am a complete rooting newb, have wanted to for a while, then as i was ready, the update came.
U can simply use the su-2.3.6..3 ef signed .zip
that u flash in recovery to get superuser on the phone that blue clockwork mod flashes all the roms back and forth froyo to ginger and back just fine
or download rom manager and flash the orange cwm that does all of them too for sure!
