HI there,
Anyone know how to complain the poor service on buying "Nexus One" thr. online web site?
I place my order on 6th and until 8th to confirm my payment and accept order. (in 2010's using credit card payment still need such leading time) Now today is 11th, but still no information for shipment...
Are they really busy? or lack of ppl to work or out of stock?
It is unbeliveable to google
I just ordered mine this morning. I really hope it doesn't take that long to ship, seeing as how they are shipping out of Indianapolis which is only 2 hours from me.

it just using standard email reply and repeat the same msg, we are working on this and wait 1-3 days after confirmed payment..
I tried many online purchase from US / EU and don't see this problem nowadays. My guess is they don't have enough ppl to handle order so take extra 1 day to process my payments. How come such a big company starting a new project (to sell phone directly) without any senses.

Pretty quick process for me, but I know that sometimes international orders can add a day or so to the process. I've experienced this when ordering phones from overseas in the past.

Im hoping it gets to me today honestly with me being so close. Id like to grab mine from the sorting facility as it probably won't make a truck. =) I cant wait!
The issue isn't the extra day international orders take to be delivered but the fact that some orders haven't been processed yet. I ordered on 7th, then phoned bank on Friday morning to check there weren't any issues (there weren't, payment was authorised) but still my order remains at 'Not yet shipped' and the support from google is pathetic. I wouldn't mind if google actually processed their orders in order!

Do yourself a favor and call your credit card company and let them know to expect a charge for whatever the total cost was. That way, they won't slow you down. That's what happened to me. I just happened to call my cc company, and then all of a sudden the next day it was processed and shipped after a 2 day delay. Google never even sent me a status update to let me know anything was holding me up.

I used my debit card and it's already been charged the full amount, so no issues there I think. Its not odd for me to blow several hundreds of dollars on a single purchase lately.. hahaha. All is well, just constantly refreshing waiting for a tracking number. =)
I had a similar experience as bugsy. I ordered mine Jan 5th at 11:30am MST, receipt 20 minutes later, and less than 12 hours later, an email that said the phone had shipped. They attempted delivery at 9:30am the next morning. That's insanely fast, and I don't live anywhere near their sorting facility

I ordered mine on the 7th in the morning with a debit card. Payment was processed immediately and I got my receipt right away. My order status is still at the "Google Phone Webstore has received your order."
Two emails to them have yielded no replies and my bank acknowledges everything is fine. Kind of frustrating. I hope they ship it out soon... getting a little impatient.
I ordered mind 5:50pm EST on the 6th (Thur), it was shipped 7am on the 7th (Fri), but held hostage by fedex until this morning (it was here, but they didn't think it was priority to unload it from the crate Sat since they didn't have to deliver until Monday).

So pi**ed off, had mine on order since the 7th Oct, only to get an email this morning saying my card had been rejected, despite Barclays saying they hadn't bared it. By the time it was sorted Expansys was out of stock!!! Someone out there has got lucky today. Any ideas how long before they have more stock?
My friend had the same situation - card rejected.
He called them today, cancelled the cc order. I told him to pay via PayPal(so his card was charged anyway) and they have accpeted it. He got it shipped out the same day(today).
But he did not get tracking.
I have contacted support and I have been told that my tracking is my order number and I will see what happens with the package on the order tracking page as soon as Expansys gets data from DHL.
One thing remains strange for me - why the hell they do not want to give us the tracking number?
Normally, AFAIK, from what I have seen in the past the tracking numbers appear in the on-line Expansys record of the transaction which you can access via the My Account link towards the evening of the shipping date.
YMMV...

You have to wait till the tracking number is scanned for the 1st time, then it will appear on the expansys order page.
I'm still waiting for my tracking number aswell.
Well, I rather hope that my package is being loaded on a plane to Poland, not "scanned for the first time".
Received tracking number from expansys. It's marked as shipped since 11/11. But, it's dispatched from DataSelect and picked up by DHL at 1735hrs GMT today.

I got. dhl tracking in order tracking page and also in invoice which one send via email me .
Strange, I did not get an invoice at all...
First got "order confirmation" email, when they did not even have it at stock. Now, I got "shipping confirmation" email, but with no tracking. On the order tracking page, it only says "Sent email - eXpansys - Order shipped XXXX-1B18-XXXX -" (but that's only order number, not tracking).
Anyone know what DHL service do they use? Is it DHL Worldwide Express or something else?
GOT TRACKING. A DHL button showed up at the bottom of order tracking page. Mine is coming from Marseille.

Mine right now says Estimated 3 days.
I'm a little pissed off that they say they have 100+ in stock at the time I order and now I have to wait. I find the Estimated 3 days to be a completely BS status as well. Like they really are going to get that much more HD2's in a couple days later...on a weekend?
If it doesn't ship around that time I'm canceling my order with those liars.

Mine was showing 5 days for a while. Then in stock.
Next day (Last night at 6pm perth time) it was shipped.
I think all the stock went to backorders.
I have three updates. Email from Expansys, one from DHL and the order page updates with the DHL link.
Currently my phone is in a plane between London and Perth.

I have my DHL tracking number, it left Marseille a few hours ago, went to Leipzig and is now in Brussels where it has to be delivered!
Got a mail with a link to the expansys order process site. on that site was a link to the dhl track including the number. Delivery was superfast, Marseille to Germany 1 straight day.
Had preordered mine so it went out with the first batch. When I did a refresh of the product page during lunch after receiving the shipment notification in the morning, it said 50 on stock. A few hours later it was back to estimated time in stock Nov. 12th.
You will find the link at the bottom of the page, there is no tracking number, however clicking on DHL logo will take you directly to your order(tracked).

I ordered mine when in stock, then estimated shipping time went from 1 day, to 2 days, and now its estimated 5 days whilst HD2 product page says 1 day availability..
This is just a warning to others thinking about using MobilePhonesDirect, They may seem cheap but they are pretty useless.
I pre-ordered my new HD2 from MobilePhonesDriect last over a week ago. They promised that they would have stock ready for dispatch on 12th Nov for delivery via Royal Mail special delivery before 1pm on 13th.
I ordered:
HTC HD2
18 Month @ £25pm
200mins, 200txt, unlim data.
Handset = £132
So I took the day off work today to wait around for it. Did it show? No of course it didn't
Now I look at their website and it says they have the HD2 in stock and if you order before 3pm you can get next day delivery. Also the handset price has gone down from £132 to £107 and they are throwing in a free 2GB micro SD card.
Hopefully I'll be able to cancel my pre-order and just reorder at the cheaper price. What is the point of taking pre-orders if you can't supply the customers. They'd even sent me a mail earlier in the week saying they had easily enough stock to supply all pre-orders.
Of course their customer service team isn't answering the phone and also not responding to emails. I feel very let down by this bunch of clowns. I was hoping to be playing with my new phone all weekend. Now I just have to be content with watching all the other people's videos on YouTube who did get theirs on time.
I actually recieved my hd2 from them today, but have to agree, their customer service is appalling.

You're one of the lucky ones.
I wouldn't particularly mind but they basically lied to me. I figured it would be just my luck not to catch the post today and maybe have to wait til monday. But they specifically said they had enough stock to fill all their pre-orders but after that other would probably have to wait til mid Dec for their phones.
That's why I pre-ordered.
Now they're saying they've got loads in stock and put the price down

Fat lot of good that'll do me as they won't deliver on a Saturday so it'll be Monday when I get it but Tuesday before I can pick it up from the depot. I should have just held on and bought it today for the cheaper price. Grrrrr

Moral of the story. Be wary of promises that sound too good to be true.

Chimp - i'm in the same boat as you, I was also looking forward to playing with the phone but now will be watching others play with theirs...sad LOL.

Well, at least you have got your email. I got all excited when I had the in stock, deliver Friday or monday message. Couldn't get reponse by email or phone, shame I have people with me Sunday for the day and if they saw and tried it i reckon MFD would have seen a couple of orders.
No email saying despatched for me so I can only hope they will still be packing/posting tomorrow and there's still a chance for Monday.

Royal Mail do Special Delivery on Saturdays, don't they?
I think in this thread or a MPD one in the Leo forum it was said that in some areas the Post Office delivers on a Saturday but it's a bit hit and miss as to where - technically it's next "working day" and that normally means Monday to Friday.
They do but for a £2.50 additional charge. I doubt that MFD are going to shell out for that considering they only charged £3 P+P and the cheapest Special delivery charge is £4.95
My understanding is that they deliver Special Delivery on Saturday, its just not guaranteed unless you pay the extra, so more often than not a package will arrive on Saturday. But I'm probably wrong!
Well I won't hold my breath (but I will be crossing my fingers in hope)

10.04pm I received the "Your order has been dispatched message".
Peace now reigns.
Worde case is that it goes into the post tomorrow for monday delivery but I am holding out for their having got it in the post earlier but only updated the computer system late and there might be a slim chance for tomorrow. (The odds are better for that than they are for me to win the lottery).
At least they had their stock on the 12th - I have read some suppliers missed out and it's no chance for a phone before Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

That's another way to see what a mess of a company MPD is, you pre ordered a week ago and got despatched today but what me that ordered 16 of Oct so as every body can see they have a big mess
I can confirm 100%.
Hopefully it will (eventally) arrive ok and I'll never have to deal with them again. I go out of my way to avoid companies that provide such a pathetic level of "service". Had I known what an utter failure their part in this would have been, I would have waitied for someone else to have a T-Mo contract available for it.
Can't wait to see the last of these jokers.

Sometimes.. you will end up with a few delays but patience is the key here - and if it doesnt arrive on Monday then I would complain.. But in the meantime I wouldnt slag them off too harshly - its a pretty awesome phone so they will have had a busy few days.
Although you do have a point about the price dropping within the space of a week that certainly would get my goat.

I spoke to MobilePhonesDirect yesterday and was told that they had had a few problems with their system, owing to high demand.

Where I live most parcels sent via special delivery on a Friday WILL arrive the next day, they just cannot guarantee it....and the assistant said it could well come tomorrow.
I ordered mine on Tuesday on the T-Mobile Combi 30 plan, 18 month.
As it happens I already have an HD2 anyway: It's a beautiful device, but to be honest I'm terribly disappointed with the keyboard, and being as typing is crucial to me as a textaholic I'm hoping that HTC will release an updated keyboard that behaves as well as that on the Hero.....for me this one just won't do, and i've been testing out some alternatives......but that's another story!

My order was shipped 11/16/12 (Friday) and I wont receive it until after business hours today 11/20/12 (I never get UPS deliveries prior to 6PM at my residence). I paid for 2nd day air, and my understanding is that it should arrive by end of second business day, Which would be 11/19/12 (Monday) before 5PM, I wont get it until at best 6PM 11/20/12 which would mean the next business day would be 11/21/12 (since business day runs through 5PM), effectively making it 4 business days from when it was shipped.
This is why I hate UPS, had it been shipped Fedex Home Delivery I would have had it Saturday and would have paid less. I know this isn't really Google's fault, but since I paid them for delivery and they paid UPS I assume I would have to talk to them.
Lastly I think the "2nd Day Air" title is a little misleading, looking at the times it was on a plane from KY to PA, but after that it appears to have been trucked from PA to NH, if I receive something via Air FedEx it comes into NH via Air.

Business days to UPS for residential deliveries means, 'END OF THE DAY'. So your 5pm argument isn't really valid. And two day shipping isn't 'the end of the second business day' that would be overnight shipping.
My order shipped Friday and arrived Monday. Technically, if you take out the weekends, that would be overnight. So 2-Day Air is Friday, Monday, Tuesday arrival time. You should get your package Tuesday and it would be two-day shipping.

yea, UPS stinks.
I ordered mine yesterday morning and the status hasn't changed. I didn't see anything that said there would be a delay also. How long do they normally take to ship?

2 days processing, 2 days shipping. I didn't get my shipping notification until the day it was going to arrive so don't freak out if you don't get it the third day.
I ordered a 16GB on 23rd and still have not got any shipping mail. Today is the 3rd Business day and maybe I should get a shipping email in a day or two.

Ordered mine on the 24th, still not received my shipping notification
purchased a nexus 7 on the 21st, had a shipping notification on the 22nd, was in my hands on the 23rd...

It sounds like I got lucky. I ordered the 16gb version at 1 AM Friday the 23rd, got the tracking number later that morning, and it arrived on Monday.
I ordered mine on the 23rd and have not gotten my confirmation email. I called today to make sure everything was OK and they said my order was still processing.

I ordered mine at 6:30pm on the 23rd and I still have yet to receive a tracking....I'm so jealous of you right now.
I just got off the phone with Google and they said that the problem is that the nexus 4 orders are backing up the he us 10 orders!! I was told my order has been approved and should ship within the next day or so. I originally ordered on the 23rd.

I ordered mine on 11/26 and the order posted to play as the 27th, I assume because it was 5:30pm on the 26th when it was "received" (according to the invoice) in CA and that's after business hours. I still haven't received a shipping notice.
I spoke to a Google Play Rep about it to make sure it processed correctly. I wanted to be sure there wasn't any trouble in the transaction since I recently had Identity theft issues.
He told me that it had charged my card successfully and was in processing and would most likely be Friday before it shipped and I would get it Monday at the earliest but probably later and that if I hadn't received it by Friday of next week to call them back.
So that "Delivered in 3-5 business days" Google play posts in the fine print is a not so reliable way of saying it'll be 3-5 before we mail it, Maybe.
I ordered my nexus 10 16gb on Thursday November 22, 2012 and have been getting the run around every time I call them or email them. Their customer service reps keep telling me it will send the shipping info email the same day I keep calling them. What a lie! Anyways after numerous calls and emails they finally sent me an email with some information of use. Hope this will help anyone wondering what is happening with their orders. This is what it says:

How could they allow this to happen? To have the Nexus 10 device available on the store but only tell me almost a week after I order, for it to be sold out? It sounds like they're just lieing to me because didn't people say that they ordered after my date and have received the device? This is completely ridiculous. Hopefully this gives anyone else insight on the status of google's customer service. I might reconsider buying a google device just because of this horrible service.

I placed my order from New York on Monday Morning 11/26/12 everything went through i even called to make sure and i have not even gotten a process completion email with a tracking number yet if i dont get anything by friday im calling them and demanding them to send it overnight at no extra charge....its all about the customer my friends! even though I am upset they dont sell the Nexus 10 in stores and have to go trough this whole process...I can say I am really excited to receive my new toy!!

Their customer service reps keep telling me it will send the shipping info email the same day I keep calling them. What a lie! Anyways after numerous calls and emails they finally sent me an email with some information of use. Hope this will help anyone wondering what is happening with their orders. This is what it says:

*******, I do understand the eagerness you have to own the Nexus device. I wish I could have assisted you by giving the shipping details.
It normally takes 3-5 business days for the orders to be delivered. However, due to overwhelming demand, we sold out the Nexus devices extremely quickly. I have reviewed your account, and see that your order is still in processing state and has not yet shipped. Therefore, I am unable to give you an update on the estimated shipping date. Google is working as diligently as possible on this.
Can you believe this? The nexus 10 16gb is still up on the play store with the same "delivered in 3-5 business days". Will the nexus 10 get to my door by the end of the 5 business days? Probably not. How could they allow this to happen? To have the Nexus 10 device available on the store but only tell me almost a week after I order, for it to be sold out? It sounds like they're just lieing to me because didn't people say that they ordered after my date and have received the device? This is completely ridiculous. Hopefully this gives anyone else insight on the status of google's customer service. I might reconsider buying a google device just because of this horrible service.

the wait is very agrivating Im waiting for mine as well, and can you beleive they dont let you cancel your order...i ordered 2 by accident ( the other order got declined since i didnt have enough funds for both) but they cant cancel....i think this will be the last time i buy an item off the Google play store
Alright... so I feel a bit guilty about my initial bitterness towards Google Play.
I received my Shipping notification at 1:05 pm today. When I got the email and checked the tracking number, It was already in the Nashville hub and will be out for delivery tomorrow.
I wish all you guys still waiting the best of luck with your orders.

Wow this is totally unfair if you ordered it on the 26th and I ordered on the 22nd. Completely upset with Google now. I still have no delivery confirmation email. Congratulations on getting your nexus 10 btw.
I pre-ordered my graphite 128GB day 1 and still haven't received my phone. My initial delivery promise was Nov 2nd-3rd. I got the delay email with 25 credit, with new delivery date between Nov 7th through the 14th. It's now the 12th, and my phone is still sitting in the pending phase, which is exactly where it's sat from the day i ordered it. The 14th is a Saturday, and as far as i know, nobody's gotten there phones on a Saturday before, so that means my phone has to ship today to get here by there 2nd promised delivery date.
So my question is, has Google missed anybody's promised second delivery window yet? And if so, did they compensate you more on top of the 25.00 credit?

I have the exact same fact pattern as you. Down to the exact same second promised delivery window. Still pending as well. I'm in Detroit and I hear it's partially related to locale. I called today and spoke to a manager in the shipping department. She said the 64/128gb frosty is being pushed out as fast as they can. They ran into some delays (no s#*t!)
She expects those original orders that are still pending to go out next week. They won't do anything else for us as far as compensation goes. She said she could cancel my order if I didn't want to wait any longer.
When I heard last week about the delay, I ordered a 32gb graphite and received it the next day. So as far as I'm concerned, I don't mind waiting. I'm going to request an RMA on the final day for returning it. Hopefully by then the frosty will be here or on the way.

Funny, ordered my nexus 6p and within 2 days it got to me. I didn't even pay for shipping, which was awesome. Strange that others are having such a hard time getting their hands on their devices.
Do you guys think I can get a refund for my rma being late? Lol

Yup, I'm exactly the same as well. This is beyond ridiculous. Never pre-ordering from Google again.
I ordered my 128G graphite on 9/30 and my friend ordered his 128G frost (it was the only one in stock) on 11/2. We both got our phone on 11/9. Go figure...
They have officially missed my 2nd promised delivery window, and my order is still stuck in the pending phase, where it has sat since i pre ordered day 1. Time to give Google yet another call. Last time i'll be pre ordering from them!

Update us with what you find out. I'm tired of calling.
I finally got my shipping confirmation tonight. When i talked to Google customer service earlier today, he told me i would have tracking info by tonight, and i actually just got it. I was a little skeptical when he told me that, but i'm happy i'll finally have my 6P tomorrow.
