I noticed this the first time when I put 2.0 onto my mt3g. Seems to be happening on the motorola droid too.
This bug also occurs on the nexus one which is obviously running 2.1.
It does not happen on devices running 1.6.

Hey, so I've just encountered a pretty strange problem with my browser when running on wifi. When using either Dolphin HD or the stock browser, it just hangs and never really loads anything, but all other apps that require internet (facebook, tweetdeck, etc.) still work just fine. When using 3G both browsers also work just fine. This problem only started occurring today, don't know what I could have done to have cause something like this to happen but I'm pretty stumped on how to fix it. Any ideas?
(Running on Azure 1.0.1)
kill all tasks and try again
Nah I power cycled the phone a few times and no dice. The issue is resolved now actually, although I have no idea how or why it came up, nor do I know how it got fixed. Some strange fluke I guess.
Ok hell, I have no idea what's going on but I'm having more problems with this again, and now it's happening to the browser while using either wifi or 3g. Browser stops working, yet other internet requiring apps still work. I feel like this might have something to do with chrome-to-phone/foxtophone cause it tends to happen after I've used it. Anyone else experiencing this?
Same happens to me, its really random. I'm running Azure 1.0 any help would be much appreciated.
Since the 2.2 OTA update I've noticed a stutter when switching between screens on the home screen. The strange thing is I didn't notice it until after I did a hard reset. Initially it wasn't there until I reinstalled a couple of apps, so I'm assuming it was one of those. I believe it started after installing Dazzle. At any rate, has anyone else noticed the stutter in general?
I installed Launcher Pro Plus and quickly bought it when I realized how much smoother it is...so that solved my problem. I'm just wondering since I haven't seen anything about it.

I didnt install anything afterwards and mine does that... went to local Corporate VWZ store and he said his did this in beginning and now has stopped... but he was holding a milestone when telling me this as well.
Has anyone experienced an similar issue when trying to upload an image from the phone to a web-page that is set up to upload images.
Is there a fix , workaround? I have a client that is having this issue with a Droid X, yet I use an EVO 4g and have no such issue.
I have not looked at his phone to see if he is running 2.1 or 2.2.
I see this was an issue early in 2010, but noting new. Which makes me think it has been fixed, but what is the fix?
Thoughts, ideas?
I have no problem uploading from my phone. I haven't on 2.1 or 2.2 OTA.
Greetings. I have a Motorola Xoom and when I run Netflix, the first time it looks fine. After that, When I run it again, the Netflix menu looks huge and I cannot really navigate around it. The only way to fix the problem is to either clear the Netflix cache and data every time before I use it (requiring me to log back in each time), or installing version 1.3 (which then annoyingly prompts me to upgrade every time I launch it).
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix?
Nobody else has this problem? Really?
I run Netflix on Xoom quite often but I don't have the problems you describe. My issues are usually with the app locking up and needing to force close it and restart. It was definitely running much better in the older versions.
I have the exact same problem, but I can't solve it even if I clear the cache. It's somehow showing the "stretched" phone UI instead the tablet UI. It's just unusable now.
Same problem here.....it went away for awhile, but it is back. Even tried facotry reset, didn't work.
I was able to install an HD version on Xoom running ics ROM

May fix your problem but I doubt it. This should just change the buffering.
I had netflix issues too with honeycomb. It wouldn't even load to even log in.
Flashing the EOS nightly ICS rom fixed it.
What I did is uninstall find version 1.3 install that and visit the market it sees the old version and updates it.
Working fine now.
I have 1.3 if you need it I think but its the one found in xda forums

Hello there.
I'm proud new user of Nexus 6p but I already have a problem. I updated it to 7.1.1 and rooted the device. Now chrome constantly crashes (Aw snap problem) and also facebook sometimes show strange image.
Screenshots attached.
Anybody else have this problem?
i love my 6p and am also a proud owner of this beast.
but i also have troubles with my display, it is abit similar to yours, i have occasional graphical glitches and it always freaks the hell outta me.
i hate those glitches , i had a split screen bug on my Moto Nexus 6 as well and using a specific custom kernel called Lean kernel always solved that problem for me.
but currently nothing fixes this on my nexus 6p , except the 6p of mine thankfully does not have that split screen bug but instead it has some other occasional hiccups with graphic glitches.
and i think it is because of the cold temperatures, but i am not so sure.
Cold temperatures can't be a problem with mine couse i work inside so there is no cold
I tried with elementalX kernel and the problem is still here.
chrome gives me the most graphical glitches , but it does not happen often.
it can still get annoying , and i also have a keyboard issue with chrome (been months now) the keyboard issue is, i cant delete characters i have enetered in the search fields of whatever website i am at.
like when i press backspace to wanting to delete words it just wont do it, annoying bug with chrome i am sure of it, as i have tried other browsers and they dont do that with the keyboard backspace not deleting characters.
maybe we should both switch browsers, but the thing is i always go back to chrome :l
hope your issue gets solved too, maybe try a custom based nougat rom and you wont see that issue with chrome anymore (as for the fb app, it is a battery killer i would advice to just use the chrome app to open up your fb account).
Tried with firefox but the problem is still there.
Will try and get myself different rom for weekend and test it.
So you say that facebook is battery killer. Thanks for the info.
Update:
Installed Pure nexus rom - problem still there
Installed CM 14.1 - problem still there
I have no idea what is cousing this problem. Is it possible that the problem is hardware related and not software?

Navigate to Settings/Developer Options/Webview Implementation then switch to "Chrome." See if you still notice these issues.

Nope I think your display driver is glitching
I'm taking it back to the store today and they will replace it with the new one they said. Hope i'll have more luck this time
