This happened to me today as well. It fixed itself as soon as I hit where the arrow should be.
That is weird. I dont have that issue...
That has been happening to me as well. But after a reboot of the phone, I haven't seen it happen again today. Not sure what the trigger is though and I kinow it has happened even after previous reboots since I installed 1.1.
Ceger
I've had that happen to me before too.
I have not noticed this one yet and I have been using the heck out of my phone.
Cool man. Glad you got a screenshot. All you have to do is click the empty space where the arrow was and it comes back.

It's called e-Natives Showcase, and it's great! It took me about a minute to get used to and now I've got the hang of it. It's freeware, here's the link:
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-e-natives-showcase.html
At first it may be a bit confusing why you quickly see an icon appear when you press OK/X.
Just press and hold the top right corner, you'll see this appear:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
then slide your finger to the icon you want (task manager, X, return)
As you can see the TaskManager is very finger friendly:

lol yep, there it is.. my bad
well then I hope this thread will alert those (like me) who didn't know about this app.
Its all good...mistakes happen...
But I dont think so it has tabbed browsing. Rest can be good but this feature is best in WKtask along with its launcher.

Says there's an update to 5.0.5.3 when as you can see at the top right, I already have it. Worked fine on 5.1
*Don't ask me why the picture is so bright..doesn't look like that on the snapshot just when I upload it.
Ignore it?

Well it's not really a big deal or anything so i don't think anyone will really look into it, but i guess it doesn't hurt.
this is not a bug go to rom update settings and turn off "Display All Rom Updates" this is if you want it to show all old updates. and this is not a place to report bug they have a google code page you can use issue tracker to report bugs. next time do a little research b4 coming up with dumb bug reports
unnecessary thread is unnecessary
And that's an unnecessary post ^
This thread should be locked now.
So i decided to get myself nc and was wondering if it can read middle asian(georgian) unicode.
Can anyone go to this "forum.ge" with Nook, take screenshot and put it here?
Thanks, for help.
I just tried, both through DDMS and an app, but for some reason it was just a black screen both times.
I'll say this, though - the character I see appear to be the same ones I see using Chrome on my laptop. Although a few are styled slightly differently, everything seems to show up. Of course, I know nothing about Georgian, so I could be entirely wrong about that.

wow, thanks guys, looks like it works perfectly. i wasn't ecxpecting
Well, it started yesterday and it keeps driving me nuts. It's present both in the system as well as 4ext or even the splash screen so it is definitely a hardware issue. Is there any way to get rid of them because my contract ends in november but I was going to stay with my DHD and get myself a PS3 (very nice offer from my carrier)
It looks like that, it's not a screenshot but it looks exactly like that:

what seems to be an officer problem?
the faint horizontal lines on the screen. That is only a picture but live they also flicker.
You could try replacing the screen yourself, but it could happen that the gpu is the problem, in which case you can't do anything on your own...
Sent from my Desire HD using xda app-developers app
I remember having the same issue right after I bought my DHD and I remember rooting and reflashing it helped I recently changed my Radio software, you think it might have anything to do?
It's not hardware. I get it on the current versions of the 3 kernel. Synergy said it was to do with fb (not sure what it is) and he's working on it.

FB....hmmm....frame buffer (only thing that comes to mind except FaceBook) Anyway you're a life saviour man! I was worried that I will have to get a new phone.
Basically I restarted my phone for the first time in probably 2 weeks and all of a sudden I notice that when I use the Clipboard the size is much more smaller than it was before. Anyone know how to fix it?

A little late but put your S8 in Safe Mode. That will fix it and it will persist through a normal boot after that.

Haha yeah it's a bit late, but thanks anyway. I actually managed to fix it not long ago by switching to the stock keyboard then back to the Swift keyboard.

Well that probably works a lot better and doesn't reset any theme settings. I'll have to remember that one next time.
