(Showcase) Found a great taskMan app to replace WKTask (wm6.5 friendly) - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

It's called e-Natives Showcase, and it's great! It took me about a minute to get used to and now I've got the hang of it. It's freeware, here's the link:
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-e-natives-showcase.html
At first it may be a bit confusing why you quickly see an icon appear when you press OK/X.
Just press and hold the top right corner, you'll see this appear:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
then slide your finger to the icon you want (task manager, X, return)
As you can see the TaskManager is very finger friendly:

lol yep, there it is.. my bad
well then I hope this thread will alert those (like me) who didn't know about this app.

Its all good...mistakes happen...

But I dont think so it has tabbed browsing. Rest can be good but this feature is best in WKtask along with its launcher.

I hope it's not a re-post. I've searched this topic but nothing come up.
It is a combination of myHTC and S2U2.
However, it saves your device a lot of storage space.

The UI works fast and that´s good, but in the other hand is too simple that doesn´t allow any customization.... too bad!
i've seen posts before
but yeah i think it does allow for customization, somewhat.. no one has even put any effort into it tho so pretty sure no one here has any clue of it's potentials.

Yes, just need to get one of the mobile shell skinners attention. My guess is someone is already working on it.
Probably can start asking here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380103
I want this skin 2!
I was working on it but I've faced a BIG problem...
Check Here: FEEL THE XPERIA
So, I guess we have to wait untill a "GREAT PAL" will have some free time to make it...

the best part of this thing is start bar. we can't use start button and shell at the same time.

Yea, that is exactly why i am not using SPB mobile shell, if it could be set to only cover the "today" part of the the today screen i would use it... maybe cover the bottom bar too for those who wished that

New app idea !!

Yes you are right its a video and you have to practice to make people believe.
Grtzzzz
well not like this app is important to copy..BUT
if we did have the video.... we can make it so that
1) when it starts out...the video can resume everytime its tapped on (thus seperating the lines)
2) then when it comes to snorting it....the tube will work as a touch screen swiping away the goods....
so this will be better than the iphone.....
but seriously......it'll be a dumb app!!!

Drop the "flipping" clock

Is there a way to bypass the "flipping" clock on the Home tab. It looked cute to begin with but I'm get annoyed by it now (after less than a week - boy is my tollerence low )
one more!
at least if someone could let us know how to stop the fckng animation... it's driving me crazy!
don't think it can be done, besides... why is it driving you guys crazy? are you staring at it 24/7? i don't even notice the animations anymore, i just need to know the time.
Personally, I miss the classic "Winmo 6/6.1" (I think) digital clock. If there's a way to restore it, that would be awesome.

X-Button On EnergyROM Rhodium?

Hi all,
I've a question..
I really like the EnergyROM_28002_RHODIUM_20.Nov.2009_StandardM2.5
I'ts fast and works great!
Link to rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=553506
(you can see that the x-button is on the screens)
There is one thing I would like to have on my htc tp2, and thats the xbutton (top right)
screen of what I want:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When i looked on the screens of the ROM, there is a x-button, but I installed the rom and the time is showed top right in stead of the x-button
Anyone knows how to fix it? i tried to install the x-button.cab (v2) (other versions are doing nothing) and it diddnt work how it should be..
Thanks!
You have to use the 21869 rom for that. Your using 6.5.# which at this point in time does not allow for that clock to be removed yet (in the screen shot post at the bottom you will see a couple specific to the 28002 or whatever the 6.5.# is now)
As far as "fixing" it... I don't know.. personally I've just been mapping Task Manager to a button for quick access.
Yeah, it's not available in WM6.5.1/3, although it is still there if you go to system settings. Like Decer said though, you can map it to a button, or you can use Showcase from Marketplace.
