Its a cab file........... transfer it to your phone and open it from there.........
If your having trouble with the volume in the music player (ie Its not there.....)
Its a .dll you need to get hold of, search for htc volume overlay dll and you should get it.............
Volume control extension
You can also try Volumex

Maybe it's just me but the sound when i change the volume of the diamond freaks me out... especially when i'm listening music with earplugs and i just wanna do it a little more louder it disturbs me.
Is there a way to make them go away? Maybe just erase the soundfiles? If yes, can somebody please tell me where i can find them?
pls help me
You can disable the 'sound beeps while changing volume' by using Diamond Tweak.
Thanks a lot for helping me fixing my problem...
I installed diamond tweak already but i did not find a tweak for fixing my prob.
I have Installed the 0.5 version is there a newer one? I couldn't find one in the internet so far...
Tweak # 1.5 in Diamond Tweak.
But it is only for in call beeps as the description says. Still you can try it. Sorry if it doesnt help.
still have this issue on Wm6.5 energyrom phoenix 2
I cannot disable the volume change sound.
Tried looking for wav files, tried using advancedtweak (And other tweak programs).
I can only get them to shut off when in a call. I want them to be disabled forever. Any solution ideas
Same here. I have looked in the registry and I can't find anything about the volume beep not incall.
i was looking for the same thing and the only solution i found was to install another volume control app
S2U2 includes a silent volume control that works perfectly
Hi,
When browsing the HD2 forums (I'm gonna get one in a few days, yay!) I found this:
75. Disable Beeps When Altering Volume
When you press the volume key you getting annoying beeps. This tweak allows to change the volume silently without the beeps.
HKCU\ControlPanel\Volume\Mute Change from 3 to 1.
It worked on my TP so I assume it'll work on you Diamond to.
Cheers,
/Cacti

Just tested on Topaz and it works like a charm
So simple
Cheers for that mate
Take care
actually tested it and it's wrong
what it does is disables events, reminders and sets notifications to silent
maybe it works on Leo but not on Topaz
Does anyone have a solution for The hardware rocker on devices such as the Wizard for Opal Volume Control ? Im so close to banging my head against the wall. Any advice/help would be appreciated
bump
Would also like to be able to assign volume control to a hardware key. Any takers on how this is done?
----------bump----------
Anyone? at all? please? *starts to cry*
Anyway, this would be great! It is the only thing missing from my kaiser using the Opal roms. Especially in audio manager where the only way to change the volume is by tapping the volume icon in the start bar. The scroll wheel does nothing at all!
So I would love to see someone take a try at this!
C'mon some help please 608 views not one reply. Is this something that can not be done? Is there not a way to make a shortcut to the volume control so you can launch it similar to S2U2-VC or Setvolume? Please any type of reply would be helpfull.
bump again
I was hoping for an answer to this too but in my quest to find this answer. I came up with a much simpler solution (for me anyway).
I love A_C's S2U2 application and several versions back, he implemented a volume control screen which looks JUST like HTC's except that both volume bars are on one page. (Myself, I think HTC ripped the idea from A_C but made it with 2 tabs so it looked different enough.) What I ended up doing was using that volume control module instead of HTC's since the S2U2 one CAN be bound to a hardware key since it's a shortcut that sits in your start menu.
all very true, i remember trying it right before the HTC version came out, and i found them quite similiar. The only thing is, I do not use s2u2 anymore and it would be nice to have it built into the stock opal manager as that is what comes up when you change volume in the audio manager and the system icon...
There is a way to create a shortcut that will call an IN MEMORY address, I just have no luck getting the correct address for the Volume Control
I use smartskey and the volume up/down key on my Wizard works in Opal Volume Control

Hi,
Boto has given a smartskey.ini file which enables opal volume control to work with volume slider.
I did not tested because wizard's volume slider is damaged. Can you test it. I have Attached the file below
Thanks
I think I might have seen one of these in the forums but I have searched and cannot find it anywhere.
It was a new tab for volume profile switching, to switch between normal, vibrate and silent.
Anyone able to help?
Easy way 4 me is tab on volume button and vote between normal, vibrate and silent.
But I search a little, little, little tool/app to switch in today screen (orignal Windows) between self-provided phone profils (to harmonise with TF3D & Secondtoday).
I found Apps as phoneWeaver, phoneAlarm and Spb phone suite but all Progs are to big....
Yes, I know I've seen this tab somewhere on these forums but I can't find it.
I was hoping someone would know...
I use V_Vibrate to change between sound and vibrate, mapped to a long press of the volume down button.

No settings here. Convert your mp3 file into wav. Then just copy-paste your new file in windows folder. You will find the new desired audio file in alarm settings.
Hope I was useful.
You can simply go to the "Music" Touch Flo tab and then select the lower left button "library".
Select a song and click the "Menu" button. There you will find an option to use the song as ring tone.

Hey guys..does anyone know what the program buttons do ?i tried to map some programs to it and nothing...
I'm sorry I don't understand your question, which program buttons do you mean? The ones on the home screen or otherwise?
Probably the personalised buttons. Which is not available in HD mini.
yeah i thought so too, reminded that this was working on my old p3600 and i could asign actions for those buttons, btw does the endkey replacement working for u?
The end key long press that brings up the quick list works fine.
not the original one..i mean the endkey replacement v 4.5,or if u can tell me pls if u know a way to replace the long press endkey with a programs tab.
