Best GTalk client - HD2 General

what is the best GTalk client? I tried talkonaut and nimbuzz and fring.
Talkonaut and Nimbuzz are working but I hardly can make a call using gTalk.
and Fring is not working at all.
any reply appreciated.
Thanks

I saw a video of the T-mobile bound ROM and Google Talk was included in the messaging folder. This was on an HD2 so I hope it's correct and we will be able to get the function.

Fring

Hi, I have downloaded this program for my Hermes with Schaps Hermes_WM6Pro WWE_3.30c rom.
It works great for skype and sip from 1 single program.
Take a look at: www.fring.com
To learn how to use fring including how to upload all of your Skype, MSN Messenger and Google Talk contacts.
Works nice technically, but I won't sell my soul to them. All your VoIP accounts are exposed to Fring and all VoIP traffic is tunneled through them. Perhaps they are a NSA subsidiary?
Check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=315654 for a FULL review of Fring.

Best FREE Gtalk Client

Can anyone suggest a good (and free) GTalk client ? I have tried Talkonaut and IM+ but I have had stability problems with both.
Thanks
Fring is pretty good.
OctroTalk and BeejiveIM are also good.
I like Palringo

PIGEON! is a good alternative. It's an ICQ/Jabber client that supports GTalk as well. It has a lot of customization options. In past experiences it has ran quite well for myself and a friend.
use skype
Use Skype itsfree
I think Nimbuzz is the best.
Nimbuzz is in 1 in All concept.
Nimbuzz Mobile lets you call, chat, message, and send files on the go, for free.
It combines all your buddies:
Skype,
MSN,
Yahoo,
ICQ,
AIM,
Google Talk
and more.
One login, one contact list, all accounts.
It's light and there is also a PC version available.

Good call. This would have been my second suggestion for him. Nimbuzz brings to Windows Mobile what Trillian brought to Windows on the PC (when it was first released).

Best Free Messenger for TD2

Interested to know the best messenger for TD2 that user in this group are using
MSN Messenger?
Beejive IM
I was looking for something like "Agile Messenger" or some similar varients.... But unfortunately Agile for PCC is not free .
Use Fring (http://www.fring.com/default.asp) the best I've ever used!
when I am connected by wap I use "ebuddy", because this is the unique software that I known for chatting with MSN contacts.
Anyone knowns other program that connecting with MSN in wap?
Fring is the best.
I will try FRING today. Thanks ALL for reply.
But the Fring site doesnt officially support any WVGA devices yet.
Has anyone tried running Fring on 480*800?
Try Nimbuzz, I use it, it has Skype integrated also.
www.nimbuzz.com
or directly from phone m.nimmbuzz.com and it's free
fring 480x800
I downloaded the fring CAB for the xperia for my diamond 2.
Installation was easy and fast.
Works fine with 480x800. No problems yet.
You can try also slick. It's alpha, crashes sometimes, but works.

This seems to be good. I have just installed the Fring... and will try this in a day or two. Looks like free, similar to Fring.
I think I need to choose between Fring and Nimbuzz
PS: Done some google for reviews of these two, and seen Nimbuzz is good
Thanks for the tips in this topic. Nimbuzz is working great indeed! I had been using Fring, but it doesn't work anymore with the latest Leo ROMs.
Nimbuzz is the BEST
Hi All,
I have been using Nimbuzz and found this to be the BEST with all IMs integrated for Chat and Voice Calls too .
Thanks.
Try Palringo. Integrated with Facebook, msn, yahoo, gmail. PTT (Push to Talk) also.
Since I have a wap plan I use ebuddy because it is the only instant messenger that works with this type of connection. eBuddy also connects to MSN, Skype, etc.

I agree. Palringo is by far the best IM for winmo
I like Palringo, although the interface is not as pretty as Beejive. I have problem with Nimbuzz keeping connect and alive on my phone.

Windows Live Messenger

Does anyone know of Windows Live Messenger being available to download / install from a third party?
3 Mobile have apparently bundled it with their Heros http://www.info-resource.org.uk/htc_hero_with_spotify_contract.html
Frank.
Ebuddy or fring, personally prefer ebuddy, fring has a crap ui
edit: though if anyone can upload the apk for the 3 client here, i would like to take a look if possible.
i think Nimbuzz is the best solution...best UI IMHO.

I wonder if it's the same IM app that T-Mobile has on some of their Android devices, which is actually a google-made program. It uses SMS instead of data, and AFAIK, no one's got it to work on a non-TMobile phone/network. (Although maybe 3 Mobile has!)
I personally like Hi MSN. It isn't the greatest program ever, but it gets the job done. I don't like using eBuddy/Palringo, because you have to create an ebuddy account, the attach your MSN account to it. Yeah yeah, it's useful if you use lots of IM clients, but I don't.

The TMo version can use data over WiFi, but reverts to SMS over cellular conntections for all protocols bar GTalk. It is a specifically code limitation in the application itself, because back in my G1 days there was a hacked version available that circumvented this and allowed IM over 3G/GPRS.
Personally, I use Meebo.

Dave

I agree, Nimbuzz is better than Ebuddy or Fring. And it also does Skype VOIP.
Nimbuzz is the best i've seen. it lets you talk to contacts from several IM protocols, current release includes:
Yahoo!
WML
Skype
Facebook
Google Talk
AIM
MySpace
StudiVZ
SchuelerVZ
Gadu Gadu
Hyves
Giovani
-edit-
It lists all contacts from all the protocols you selected at the same time, which is awesome.
Cheers for your input everyone. I've been using HiMSN, I'm going to give Nimbuzz a go from your recommendations.
nimbuzz seems to run in the background, but when i look for it in task manager, it doesnt show up
can someone please backup the 3 WLM client with AppManager and post it somewhere (rapidshare, mediafire etc)?
Ebuddy works great.

[Request] Skype+MSN+Facebook chat (only)

Hi, I hope I'm posting in the right section.. I was wondering wether there is a pure chat application that unites skype, msn and facebook. Basically like Nimbuzz or Frige, just less battery consuming and only with chat function.
Thank you..
charlie
Ebuddy can do Facebook and MSN. Skype is a little trickier
Fring does skype and Msn
i think nimbuzz can handle all the three
