PLEASE HELP! Question to any guru outthere!!! - HD2 General

After emailing back and forth with the HTC support team about the Leo's "too loud ear piece" and after asking me a million questions they finally sent me the Debug tool 3.4 to run it in my Leo and send them the logfile.
Well the stupid application it's been running for 20 hours and never seems to stop. It did create some 20 DM files on my SD card which can't be seen in explorer anymore. I put it into a card reader to see what;s happening.
I hard reseted my Leo to stop the debugging tool but no use, I reflashed but nu use the darn thing still runs and kills my battery!
What should I do?

Vista SHIFT Hybernation problems

I don't know if it's my system or if this situation is generalized. When I recover from hybernate my SHIFT doesn't:
1 - recognize my SD (with ReadyBoost enabled), already tried the patch from ms but no luckit doesn't behave properly;
2 - Have difficulties recconeting to internet with modem (BT and WiFi disabled);
3 - No sound I have to enable it after and increase volume;
This were the faults that I noticed right away... Does anybody noticed anything strange also???
Please feedback needed otherwise I'll reformat the device and reinstall it again...
Hi,
I don't use SD. So I haven't got an answer, but have a look around in the forum. There is at least one thread if not more that deal with SD problems.

Hi,
I already saw all posts refering to SD problems and made the changes. Anyway if you see everything I wrote, I've problems in other areas also, after hybernation.
I have the SD card problem, but not wifi or bluetooth> Wifi is connecting automaticaly to any network I throw him.
For the sound, it's usually working, except if I try to change sound settings after resuming. In that case, the control might hang. Going to the computer - manage and confirming the security question helps somewhat restoring it.

I'm restoring the system. Hope this helps... At the end I'll post my experience...
Coming out of hibernation on my shift, I sometimes lose the SD card, but not always. This is with readyboost enabled. I also have problems with the 3g connection, but again, not always. A reboot always sorts it, but that wastes 10 minutes of my life and 10% of my battery power. Gotta love HTC...
You have same difficulties I have. I've experienced that SD card, after coming out of hibernation, you can see it in explorer but if you try to access it explorer hangs and I've to make a hard boot (shut the system with power botton). 3G tends to be difficult to access through vista aftr hiber too, sound problems, etc, etc, etc... let's see if a clean install makes it better, otherwise if I allways have to do a restart there's no point in hiber...
SD missing after sleep/hibernate/re-insert
The "disappearing SD" problem is not just after sleep or hibernate: it can disappear after properly removing and re-inserting the card. Microsoft admits to the problem in XP: the drivers fail to unload when they should, so they fail to re-load on re-start. They distribute a kluge to fix it in XP, but if you tell them the problem also exists in VISTA they play dumb.
SD problems solved
After a long period of discovery I finnally manage to solve the the problem of disappeared or not accessible SD card after hibernation.
What I had to do was stop ReadyBoost service just before entering hibernation state, and start readyboost just after recover for hibernation. For that I have made two shortcuts:
1 - Stop ReadyBoost to run before Hibernation
and the other
2 - Start ReadyBoost to run after hibernation.
Now I can hibernate without any problems... FINALLY.
I'm trying to make a file where this all happens with just one click, as soon as I have it I'll try to upload it here.
The file is here it's a batch file that stop and hibernate and then start ReadyBoost
Please give me feedback about this to know if someone else had benefits with these solution.

HTC TD2 freeze problem since WM6.5 upgrade

Since upgrading my TD2 to the official WM6.5 ROM issued by HTC I have had problems with the handset freezing; the only remedy has been to remove the battery and switch back on. At first I thought it was a hardware fault but a friend's phone has also started doing the same since he upgraded. This never happened previously and only happens every ten days or so.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
I'm having the same problems mate. My TD2 on 6.5 freezes spoaradically - I'd say at least twice a week, and the only solution is to remove the battery.
I've been trying to link the freeze with a particular program or app but the phone has frozen at varying times and in many cases whilst no apps are running!
I'm waiting for upgrade on my contract as I've had it with this TD2 and especially WinMo. I mean, how can WinMo store all saved words in SMS on RAM only for it to be wiped after every restart/soft reset?! Why? Argh!
I'm going for the Hero next, and see how nice Android plays!
Good luck with your query...

Does it do this without the mem card installed?
Exactly the same is happening here and the same on my friend's TD2. We have never tried WM 6.1, the first step after purchasing the phone was to upgrade to stock WM 6.5 ROM.
I tried to disable the weather animation on home screen but this doesn't help. My friend has disabled HTC sense and his phone has not frozen after one week. We will have to wait another week or two to proof that this could be the solution.
I hope that Touch Flo is not the cause of this malfunction because WM6.5 UI is very ugly.
I don’t know if the mem card could cause this issue but using the phone without mem card is simply not an option for me. The phone memory is too limited.
My friend also raises this issue on HTC support but so far HTC is ignoring the problem. The only bright word from HTC support was that they will investigate this issue (after many words on how to flash, reflash and hard reset ...).
I really hope that the solution for this very inconvenience will be find out soon.
My TD2 also freezes often compared to Win 6.1 where it almost never froze. I also hope that HTC will make some kind of service pack for Win 6.5 as it doesn't work that well at the moment.

I'm not suggesting that anyone uses the device without a mem card! You are missing my point.
Phones that freeze do so for a reason and it's necessary to eliminate possible causes.
Some two years ago I did extensive testing on this subject when the same issues arose around another make and model of phone.
One thing I found is that it is possible to induce instability of handsets when mem cards are used (abused?) in certain ways.
My TD2 used to freeze when I first got it and it has also done so with a number of cooked ROMs. With my current ROM it never freezes and there are no instability issues.
I strongly suspect poor coding of apps and lack of thorough beta testing. Isn't it strange how some apps have been around for years and you can rely on their worth?
Installing to mem card causes issues as well as cards that have installed apps being reused after cooked ROM flashing and previous settings and fat tables being left on the card.
Also when power is low mem cards draw large currents that the battery may not be able to give. They are very power hungry. I took this up with Sandisk Tech Dept and they politely told me that the info on current draw under stress (usage) was not for public access!
So my answer is keep your ROM light (no manila or after market 'front end'), minimise card usage by installing all you can to phone mem, reformat afresh with every ROM flash and keep your battery as highly charged as possible at all times.
Some say 'yes but I do all those things and I never get freezes'. That's fine but no help to those that do.
There really is only one way to find out and that is to take a little time and try it for yourself.
Large address book combined with bad 3rd party program
On my Tilt2 I found that applications like Fring could freeze the phone. After a few tries, I decided not intall that anymore (and Fring might have fixed it by now, but I can't afford to try, because uninstalling required a hard reset).
The phone originally came with HTC TouchFLO, but I switched that off, since it just made everything more difficult to reach. And sometimes the fhone became unresponsive, slow or totally frooze. After I disabled it by using the Windows Today (6.5 or classic) after which I only had about 2 freezes in 1.5 year.
Now I finally upgraded to the latest official ROM for the phone, which has HTC Sense on it. After everybody saying how great Sense was, I gave it a try. It worked reasonably, until I started playing with the Favorites in the Peoples tab. After each new addition (I tried 3) I had to restart the phone, and after restart it still hung up.
I happen to have a quite large address book that I synchronize with ActiveSync. I think I'm starting to see a pattern, where several applications - Fring, Sense, etc - just cannot handle large address books.
By the way, to disable Sense, first switch to the Windows Default (= WinMo 6.5) Today screen, and do a soft reset to get rid of Sense background processes. If you want to use the WinMo classic Today screen, then you can do that after the reset. Directly trying to move from Sense to WinMo classic resulted in another freeze. After disabling Sense, I haven't experienced a freeze, (yet !!!).
^^Try a custom rom,Sense works fine on those as the ROM is highly modified with few errors now.

[TUT] Install Android On Your HD2

Background:
The devs have had some major breakthroughs in getting Android ported over to our HD2s lately. Just a bit ago, they finally got Bluetooth working and I decided it was time to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at the stability of the version I ran and have actually been using it as my primary ROM for five days as of this writing.
My biggest problem was in wading through the myriad of techno-speak and complaints piled on top of vague references to a non-existent thread over on the Leo forums. However, once I got things figured out, I was good to go and haven't looked back!
Please see post 2 for some tips and tricks and "Don't do's" that I learned along the way.
You absolutely MUST HAVE data access to install Android. If you have WiFi, that might work, but if you may be able to talk a friend with a data account to lend you their SIM card for a few minutes
For the curious, I did initially install Android on my 16gb C2 microSD card that came with the phone. See post 2 for why I am no longer doing so
Read "Steps" for the fast and easy version, "Details" if you're a bit nervous or want to see how neurotic I can be with explanations.
And so, without further ado, here is the simple method for locating, download, installing and running Android on your HD2!
Steps:
I recommend finding a nice, stable ROM and flashing it fresh after a Task29 before moving forward. Be sure to hard reset (or use Clear Memory under Settings) and then soft reset your phone to ensure the ROM is stabilized.
If you are using a stock radio you may have issues, the radio I am using is: 2.10.50.26.
Once your phone is up and running, go to Settings Tab->Sound & Display: Single Volume On (100%), Pocket Mode On, then click Backlight: Ensure "Automatically adjust backlight" is NOT checked, adjust your screen brightness to optimal levels, then un-check the other four boxes.
Exit Settings and make a call using the Speaker Phone, then turn the Speaker Volume to 100%.
Visit GameSquare by clicking this link and scroll to the bottom of that page, look for the "Download" link at the bottom. Save the file (currently it is named "HD2Froyo_V2.1.7z") to your computer.
At this point, it would be a brilliant idea to backup the contents of your microSD card and reformat it.
Once your microSD card is ready, place the file you downloaded from GameSquare on the root of the card ("root" means don't put it in any folders you might have on the card) and extract the contents.
If you removed the card to reformat or unzip the file, put it back in the phone. It is a good idea to go ahead and soft reset the phone at this point, just in case some of the hardware has developed some issues while you were working.
Open File Explorer and navigate to Storage Card->Android, then click on CLRCAD.exe (it won't respond, but then it's not supposed to, click it anyway), then click haret.exe. Always run CLRCAD.exe before haret.exe to ensure you can actually hear phone calls
You phone should now show the HTC Penguin and a ton of text. The phone may hang a few times, but it's fine, just let it run.
Once Android has booted, follow the customization prompts. It may seem to take forever to boot, but let it go.
Once Android has completely booted and you can see the Home Screen, wait for the icon on the top left (sd card scan) to disappear and then soft reset and reboot Android. If you have run Android or used Google Backup in the past, wait for the sync icon to disappear before soft resetting the phone.
You should now be able to fully load Android and make calls, texts, data connections etc. Enjoy!
Details:
Myself, I chose to ignore the google location, facebook - twitter - youtube logins and weather; this is because I never intend to actually use the Windows Mobile ROM anyway
You may or may not have luck with a different radio, but I know people running stock are complaining and looking for replacements. I will not explain where to find or how to flash radios in this thread, use the search button above to find one that will.
My screen brightness is set to 50%, which is optimal for me. Un-checking the boxes will prevent your phone from darkening the screen while Android is running!
This seemed to help when I had issues with a very quiet speaker and ringtones running Android.
I will not link directly to the build because (1) it's not my site or work and (2) there are important messages on that page that DarkStone1337 wanted everyone to read. For your edification, the original thread: [BUILD] [18.08.2010] [darkstone HD2Froyo V2.1] [kernel: darkstone 2.6.32.9 #36]
I haven't used a stock ROM in forever, but all of the customs I have run had a "Format SD Card" app in the Start->Tools folder. If you use your PC to format it, be sure to use Fat with a 32 cluster (or allocation) size. Formatting your card will help to eliminate issues that some have been having (I had the same issues and reformatted later). I found that formatting the card via Windows allows for a less-buggy system.
This will create a new directory named Android and a small text file. You can read the "readme.txt" file if you want, but don't move anything around. Unlike the original builds, HaRET is located in the Android folder and should stay there.
If I get a call, text or email on my phone before I get Android booted, I go ahead and soft-reset again. It may be a pain in the butt, but it helps to narrow down any issues you might have to just the Android build.
Android may reboot your phone before you see any prompts, and if so just go back and run CLRCAD.exe and then haret.exe as before.
If you have any issues, reformat the card and start over. Here is where you need that initial data (internet) access. Android does not require you to always have internet, but if you reset or re-install it, you will always need it at this point.
You can turn off the phone by holding the "End Call" button (that's the red one ) and choosing "Power Off" from the popup menu.
Of course, you don't have to enjoy Android, that's just a suggestion
This tutorial is subject to updates and bug fixes in the future, but no promises
Be sure to read Post 2 for lessons I learned along the way!
Tips and Tricks
Format and Content of this post may change, depending on how I feel and what I learn along the way (respectively).
SD Card Care:
I would recommend you to always reformat your microSD card before installing or re-installing Android on it. This is the same as doing a Task 29 on your phone before installing a new ROM.
I don't know much about Android, but I've been using Linux on my personal computers at home for over 10 years. Android seems to continually read and write data to the SD card while the system is running. If it is in "write" mode and you change something on the card or reset the phone, it can damage your SD card. So far, I have managed to get through this by reformatting my card, but you can easily wipe the card by removing the battery or hitting the reset button instead of using "Power Off" via the Android menu.
Never attach your phone to the PC and activate "Turn on USB storage". When I say, "Never", I really mean, "If you ever, ever do this, your children will despise you." Writing to the card while Android is in "write" mode will cause data that is being written by Android to be misplaced and this is a very bad thing.
Do not use the "transfer to sd card" option that some of the apps may offer. For the same reason as the last tip, it will really screw your card up.
Android was not meant to run on external card like your microSD card. Some geniuses here on xda have managed to trick it into doing so, but it will never be safe. Some day the devs may actually manage to hack into the phone's NAND memory and then we can have real Android ROMs running without an SD card, but until then we have to use this system. You do risk ruining your card, but I feel that it is worth the risk
Stability:
Just after running HaRET, hit the back arrow key. This will cause your buttons to light up momentarily. I'm not sure exactly why, but this seems to help the battery drain issue a lot.
The current crop of Froyo (Android 2.2) builds all seem to cause issues with our phone's hardware. Specifically, the screen is often unresponsive, sometimes never waking up after being turned off and necessitating a hard reset or battery pull.
Bluetooth works, but you may have to cycle the service by hitting "Bluetooth" in a call twice, once to turn it off and then again to turn it back on. I have had to do this several times, particularly after a hard reset.
I find that a task killer is particularly helpful. I found a free one called "Advanced Task Killer Free" in the market and it works just fine for my needs. When I need to turn off the screen, I run the killer and wait a few seconds before hitting the End Call button. Using this method, I have reduced the non-responsive screen issues somewhat.
Another trick I have learned is to turn off the lock screen. Even the simple slider seemed to cause issues, so I found "No Lock", a free app in the market that, when activated, will turn off the lock screen. If you keep your phone in your pocket (bad idea, you're gonna scratch or break it!), this is not a solution you will be able to tolerate after a few butt-dials.
Some people over on the Leo forums report that turning off the Live Wallpaper helped with the non-responsive screen issues. I haven't really tried this because I really, really like the wallpaper interaction. Of course, since my issues haven't totally gone away, I gave that a shot, but it didn't seem to help.
I switched ROMs, trying to find a WinMo ROM that was lighter but still up-to-date and every call I made with the phone thereafter caused the "robot voice" (some call it the "android voice"). I am now flashing a new ROM that I found on the T-Mobile USA HTC HD2 ROM Development forum that said "Android" in the title. The chef claims it is "Android Safe" and so I've flashed it, but left the Android installation alone. The "robot voice" is definitely gone, so that's awesome. Not sure what else may have improved, but at least I can make phone calls
I've noticed a trend over on the Leo forums to shy away from "Best WinMo ROM for Hosting Android". Not sure why this is, but I will carry that trend on until I am better informed. That being said, I have flashed three different ROMs to my phone and only one has actually produced a stabilizing effect on my Android. You can find it in the T-Mobile USD HTC HD2 ROM Development forum, just search for "Android"
Apps:
Having trouble getting your apps to install? Try going into Settings - SD Card and "Unmount" your card and then try the install again. This worked for me when installing Angry Birds and Pocket Legends (two very awesome games).
"No Lock": This app disables the default sliding-lock screen. I had some issues early on with the screen locking up as I tried to turn it on. This has helped tremendously.
"Advanced Task Killer": Although cnet says this is rarely needed, they are not running Android from the SD card as we are You will need some sort of task killer because your phone can't handle the RAM drain every day activity brings.
"SlideIT Keyboard": Replacement for Swype. I've used Swype for so long that I consider this app a poor replacement, though you might disagree. It's better than nothing!
More to come!

I actually had a custom ROM installed on my HD2 that caused the "robot voice". This ROM: {ROM}13Sep Omega WM6.5.x24634 Base3.04 manila2018#XT+Dinik+GTX+MaxSense+Black#Android is the only one I've been able to get a decent run of Android on.
We really, really need more than one option when it comes to ROMs that give Android good support, so if anyone else knows of one, this is a good thread to link it to.

I tried two different stocks: The one my phone came with way back in June and the new one at tmobile.com/wm_update. I was able to make calls, but the other person couldn't hear me.
I would recommend the ROM I linked to in the post just before this one; it's working great for me so far!
gonna try it thanks

hmm so that is the only way to do it currently? what is the logic behind not being able to put android directly on the phone's memory?

I'm one of the lucky ones!
So far at least... I have been running Darkstone Froyo/Sense for approximately six hours with zero issues beyond it taking a bit to get used to Android again, which is not a complaint at all.
As I stated, I used Darkstone Froyo with Sense, latest release.
2.11 Radio
I did not have to revert my rom because I was able to use HSPL3 Successfully.
I have read several threads/posts but this was the most helpful, although I could not have completed this task without some other [TUT] threads.
Side note: I stated I have not had any issues, I wanted to mention that I had read some posts stating the 2.11 Radio had caused heat issues. With heavy downloading of apps, chatting, texting, and browsing constantly for the last six hours (as I was a passenger on a long drive right after I completed the install) I never noticed the phone getting hot, and I made a point to watch for this.
Again, thank you.

Apologies to everyone for not responding to this thread while on vacation in Arkansas.
In order to install Android on the HD2 as a regular ROM we would need access to the NAND processor, which we do not have at this time. We may never be able to get Android to flash that way. In the meantime, we can run it via Linux by using HaRET (Hardware Reverse-Engineering Tool). As far as I can tell, this is the API version of Froyo, the one that can be run via an emulator and downloaded from Google. So it's not really the phone version of Android, but from a user's standpoint, there is no difference.

You mentioned that you could not have completed the install without other tutorials. Would you mind linking to them or telling me what I am missing?
To write this, I reformatted my SD card and installed a fresh ROM, then detailed each step I made along the way. I have looked back but can't see anything that I might have missed.
I see that you are running Froyo Sense. I linked to the regular Froyo, since it was the version that ran without any issues for me. Would this TUT be better if I were to link to the other builds as well?
Thanks for this [TUT]! I have this installed with Omega v13 and Radio 2.12.50.02_02. Works beautifully.
I also added Dual Boot option with Jmz Android Dual-Boot.cab as suggested by you in an earlier post. Very sweet.

Stock simply doesn't work for Android. You can boot up, but can't make calls or hear external sound.
In order to get Android running, you will have to (1)Flash HSPL and (2)Flash an Android-friendly ROM.
I am far from being an expert on Android or Windows Mobile, so there may be something that I don't know about. If you are dead set on keeping stock, you might contact one of the Android-friendly chefs and ask them what changes they made to their versions.
Don't forget: Flashing your T-Mobile HD2 is dangerous. Never flash a ROM unless you found it here: T-Mobile USA HD2 ROM Development.
The original (Leo) HD2 is incompatible with the T-Mobile version and it is easy to get confused. Some websites aren't even bothering to mention the incompatibility and lot of folks are bricking their phones as a result.

HELP: android wont start up for some reason?

hey everyone
i tried searching the threads but i cant find anyone with my exact problem (or something similar at least).
anyways ive been running dutty's winmo rom, i have a proper .50 radio running, and i have been able to successfully boot into darkstones superram v1.5 for the past few weeks just fine.
one night i forgot to charge the battery so it drained out, in the morning i had to work and i needed a number which was on the android OS of the phone, so i immediately turned on the phone after starting to charge it and booted into android, the phone didnt have enough power though and shut off while it was checking the SD card for errors.
after this point, i started up the phone again after 2 minutes to give it some time to charge, and it was able to get into android, however on hte way to work i tried listening to music and/or getting pictures from my SD card (using astro to search the SD card) but when i clicked on a file everything force closed, the music player froze up everytime i tried to get music going, and things like the sound options in the android settings menu would force close as well.
i figured somethnig messed up on the SD card so i backed up some stuff and formatted the SD card, and reinstalled a fresh version of darkstones superram (new data.img and everything).
when i tried launching android it went to the green HTC screen for a few seconds, then the screen goes black and the phone restarts into winmo.
this kept happening so i figured maybe something went wrong with the windows mobile rom, so i installed an energy rom just now and hte same thing is still happening.
what im going to do today is try it on a different SD card to see if thats the problem, and try another SD android ROM to make sure.
but if anyone can save me some time and knows whats happening here please let me know!
any help is appriciated! thanks!

Im runing a HD2 WP7,8 , radio 2,15 pdaimatejam rom , and its gr8 ! Cept a few lil problems , I hope I will get help with...
1# BATTERY LIFE : Ive seen posts about charging it in magdlr , complete discharge first, SD card connections 2 battery drain, camera trick
this n that, but its been no help. ( 3G OFF, WIFI OFF, BLUETOOTH OFF , NO background APPS )
With the settings above, with poor use ( 1-2 calls of few mins duration, 2-3 messages, half hour wifi max ) my battery life
is less than 16 hours ( + I always have battery saving mode up , and I restart the phone after charging to sync battery stat
* I DO HEAR THE CAMERA #CLICK# ON PHONE TURN ON / OFF *
* I would be MORE than gratefull for a solution to this, I move a lot during the day, and Id like to use my phone as a mp3 player, as I did with
WP 6,5 , altho that battery was a dissapointment towards a Samsung I had b4 the HD2 ( 7days battery, compared to HD2 WP6,5 battery of
1 and a half day max ) but still better than this , so once again, PLEASE "
2# SD CARD MULTIMEDIA USE : Having no apps installed , I could only put up like 20 or so MP3s over zune , I tried 2 mess with the reserved space but it had no change, while the SD card is basicly empty , is there any way to sync music from the SD card with zune perhaps?
or to make the phone understand the SD card as integrated memory?
3# FAILED INSTALLATIONS : On a few ocassions, the app setup got stuck at a certain % , and would not move , after exiting the process
the app appears as installed ( when I try to re install it ) but cant be read or uninstalled or to be found anywhere
I hope something can be aranged here, I thank You in advance.
Cheers
all is different on different devices.... most problems causes different sdcards (slow work, freezes, reboots or problems with installations)... also one sd card can work complete different on different ROM releases.. no general rules about that... someone have problems, someone not... all is lottery.... same is with battery drain...

Double check you have automatic "everything" turned off or on manual. Double check cellular signal and cellular data...is it looking for a 3G/4G tower. If you live where you have only EDGE, make it stay on EDGE. Sixteen hours sounds about right. I keep chargers in my car and home and it stays on it when I'm not using it...habit! I'm not aware there is a smart phone on the face of the earth which under normal use can go without a charge up to a week; dumb phones, yes; smart phones, no.

About Battry Life: accually almost all of WP roms are the same and in my opinion they have compelitly accepable battery life. (around 2 days with 1-2 calls, 10-15 SMS, and 2-3 hours web brosing and working with apps). It's not only me but my causin and my friend's phone battery life are like mine.
BUT you should do below steps exactly as I explain:
1- Flash 2.12.50 HW radio rom
2- Replace roms' original SW radio (PART00.BIN inside data.zip) with 5.51T SW radio (don't forget to change your radio name with Part00.bin)
3- Flash the rom ase xplained by it's cooker.
4- charge your phone to be fully charged. (the LED become green)
5- unplug the charger and restart the phone.
6- plug the charger to phone again till Led become Green.
7- unplug the charger and do the camera trick. (acually I do the trick twice to be assure it's done correctly)
8- It's finished. use your phone as you wish. But don't forget to do the camera trick every times restarting the phone.
Have a nice time
Peace

App Market recognizes me as if I was in China
Hello,
I found another problem on this ROM - when I activate it (I got an activation key from Microsoft) and try to install the first app from the market, it recognizes me as if i'm in China. I am actually in Germany and it doesn't matter what I do it alway recognizes me automatically as in China. Everything else is set on Germany, language is german and so on. I have a german SIM in it and am geographically in Germany. Its really frustrating, because everytime it happens, it ruins the account, and i have to create a new one (it cannot be changed manually, once there it stays forever). Any Ideas? Or if its not from the ROM, please tell me that too.
Thanks for everything you do here by the way

WP8 or Windows 8? Windows 8 is OS for PC only... maybe Windows 8 RT for tablets but maybe this not be functional complete, same thing is with WP8... HD2 is too old device and all drivers and others must make from scratch...
