Install more keyboards to X01HT

I'm having problems in installing more keyboards to my X01HT (like Resco Keyboard Pro). Although the keyboards can be installed successfully, it is impossible to switch to that keyboard. Please show me how to make the new keyboards work!

Not a stupid question at all. But I am afraid that I can only confirm that this appears to be a wider problem.
And I wish i had a solution for you but there appears to be a problem with additional keyboards not working. I am unable to install the T9 HTC keyboard because it works sporadically for a few minutes and then gives up completely.
Selecting the keyboards just caused the default keyboard to appear again.

change to keyboard with diferente button positions

Hello, i'm waiting from ebay an keyboard for qtek 9000(in this case, T-mobile MDA) and it was a qwertz layout.
the question is, if I change the original keyboard to a new keyboard with diferente button positions such as Ok button,video call button and others, will pda recognize the diference and atribute right function to each button?

No it will not. the picture shows just a QWERT keypad with no electronics so it will not re-map anything (read: it will function exactly as the old keyboard)

but how can i do that, which software will i use?

I suppose you must find the correct language code for the keyboard,nothing else.
Someone cofirm?

Hell, the keyboard is compatible all most in every button, but wen I install it, after disassemble universal...the original space button was 1 contact, and this new one was 2 contacts.so, the new space button of new keyboard is not campatible....You can see in link, on the back side os keyboard!
At least, housing for universal of the same seller is very,very good!!!

I780 keyboard mapping problem

Hi all,
I have upgraded my mobile to PDXHL2 and everything works fine (my i780 has Eng and arabic Keyboard).
My problem in the keyboard!!!
I have the mail symbol on the keyboard if I press it; it will show as GPS shortcut (in other country)...anyway next to this botton is "." and "!" botton
if I press it when writing it will open the mail box/sms and I can't find the dot "." botton!!!
in the left of the "0" botton I have "AB" which it should be used to switch between the langauge (It needs for my case Arabic installation)
Sorry for my long message but just want to change the keyboard back like before

how to activate T9 in hardware keyboard?

hi guys.how can i activate word suggestion for built in hardware keyboard.word suggestion is working on screen keyboard but it does not work with hardware keyboard.could you please help.thanks ın advance

Why do you need T9 if you have a full keyboard?
I have another question regarding the hardware keyboard. How can I turn off that the word after a punctuation mark (. ! ?) is written capitalized? I already found this option for the software keyboards but this doesn´t have an effect on the hardware keyboard.

sorry i meant word suggestion.when i type with my hardware (slide out keyboard) keyboard word suggestion is not working.that is my problem.thanks for reply...

ABC modus no more

I have just found out that.
When I open my keyboard , it opens in T9 - mode
And when I try to switch to ABC - mode it doesnt work
any one got any suggests what I can do ?
I've not done anything to adjust the keyboard ..
hope you guys can help me out

I found that I could still switch to full qwerty board.
But still when I press the abc-->t9 slider it doesnt do anything.
Any one got a clue?
