we all know that we can answer a call by pushing the soft answer key or slide the bar on the screen, my doubt is, is there a method to answer the call only by sliding the bar? to avoid accidently pickups

Yes, that would be helpful avoiding accidently pickups. I haven't see any talks around this.

I'm not a programmer and hope someone can assist. I'm looking for a shortcut, 1-line script, piece of code or something which will perorm the function of "answer call". I don't want the code to "make call" but specifically to "answer".
The reason is that I'm finding I keep dialling people by kistake because when the phoen app is open, the left button (what would hav ebeen green on a hard device) places a call as well as answers. I want to use MobileMagic or AEButtons or something to reprogram that button to ANSWER a call in the Phone app but not to disable its ability to DIAL a call. Maybe there's even a registry hack that will do this but I can't find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm bumping this to see if someone can give me some info. If it can't be done then could someone please let me know why? If I'm overlooking something simple then please point me in the right direction and believe that I have tried first...
You guys are the best at writing code for certain functions, so I thought to check here to see if someone had written, or is in the process of writing, something to change this inconvenience.
It would seem to me that HTC placed the power/screen off button that is located on the top, left hand side of the TP2 in the worst possible place. Every time I have the keyboard open and am typing I find myself accidentally pressing the button and turning off the screen.
Would it be possible to have that button deactivated only when the keyboard is open?

hello there, i have a big problem : when i have to accept a cal, by mistake i always ignore it. My naturally action is to move the slider to the right when i have to answer because i hold the phone with my right hand. I am sure that many of you have the same problem. So, my question is: is it possible to swap the position of these 2 icons - i.e. to be able to answer to the call by moving the slider to the right hand side. I will be very grateful if somebody answers to this question ) Thank you in advance ))

Sorry if already asked, but I've searched and not found an answer. Does anyone have a mod that changes the answer screen? I'd really like to eliminate the Reply with Text feature.
Haven't seen it, yet. Or much discussion of it for that matter. It would be cool to be able to customize our incoming call screens.

Tried that - it gives me more info, but doesn't remove the "Reply with Text". Was hoping for more AOSP screen
I'm on cm7 still as I absolutely need every feature working right. My question is, is there a way to edit the emergency numbers that can be called via the lockscreen(I use fingerprint unlock to keep prying eyes out)? I notice I'm able to input numbers in that screen but get the error saying its not an emergency number when I press dial. So just wondering if say I can do like a one touch dial for those contacts I'd want notified in an emergency?
EDIT: I'm on the app right now and you know what a pain searching from there is. I'm about to google the question as well.
