mail2web Active Sync push email sent items problem

I have just signed up to mail2wb push service and have so far got my contacts sync and emails are working, Push is great but my emails are not saving on my device, when I check mail2web exchange online they are their.
Is this how mail2web setup works or can the emails be saved to device too?
My emails are stored on the device using mail2web, your must have something wrong in your setup I guess...
Inside mail2web control panel go to "Free Services" --> "Mail2Web Live" --> "ActiveSync Settings" and you can download a CAB file with your default configuration there.
I had the sms send me the link I will try again a report back.
nope still not working downloaded the cab to my pc and copied across and installed, I send a email from device it goes to the outbox and then dispears. But it is there in my sent folder on the web.
I thought you were talking about incoming emails... sorry!
For outgoing emails, you just have to "Menu" --> "Tools" --> "Manage Folders" and Check "Sent Items" because it is not Syncronized by default, that's it
ah thanks I knew it had to be a setting thanks pof.
I feel a bit stupid here but how do I set up my vario to access mail2web exchange?
I've signed up and all seems to be ok, downloaded the CAB config file but nothing seems to have happened when I ran it!
Help?!?!?
Now when you hit the comm manager button, the email icon should not be greyed out anymore (because the cab should setup push email settings for you). Just enable directpush email with the email icon and you should start receiving emails.

Windows Live question

Hi there!
I use normally Windows Live in my Touch HD, but I would like to disable the option "Store Windows Live contacts in your mobile phone's contact list" because is duplicating the contact I already have using Outlook exchange.
I see that option in Windows Live but I can not uncheck it. Is that possible?
Thanks!

I believe what you would need to do is delete your msn/hotmail account and then create a new one using windows live and this time deselect it before process is complete
Thanks Fallen Spartan!!
It worked!
Greetings!
I am facing the problem but can't seem to be able to delete the account as the option to do so under the email accounts is greyed out. Some help please? THank you in advance.

Hi, thanks for responding, i can't seem to delete my hotmail account. That option is greyed out, the delete option for my other gmail accounts are however not greyed out hence i can delete them if i wanted to. It's only the hotmail one that is greyed out and can't be selected.
Try adding the account again.
I believe that you can only have one hotmail account on the device anyway......

Hotmail

How to set hotmail accout?
After I set my email and passoword, htc sense auto-open opera browser and I see hotmail's page...
And I have no idea what to do?
I had no problems with setting up other email accouts...
Set it up via Window Live easy peasy
And how I do that?
When I signed in messenger I dropped the option to sync email...
So when I sign in always asks me just for the status I want...

Don't open Messenger - open the Windows Live application and do Menu, Account Options, and Switch Windows Live ID.
Just start the process again

Remove Hotmail email (using Windows Live app does not work)

Hi,
I have 2 email accounts that I'd like to remove. Hotmail and Windows Live. They stopped syncing all of a sudden and when I select either of them and select Inbox, the next screen shows Set up Email account. When I try to set up my Hotmail and Windows Live email account again, I get a message saying that these accounts already exist.
I installed Windows Live 10.7 after trying out the above, but still no luck.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks!

even your hotmail and Windows Live Mail boxes are highlighted? Mine's greyed out...
if you allow them to be set up automatically then you need to go top the live app and remove your login details, which should remove the linked email account.

The Live app creates another Hotmail and another Windows Live Mail account which I can remove using Live app. The original accounts still remain in the Email Tab.
ahh.
no help then, sorry.

Yet another Exchange question

I have managed to add my account via Accounts & Settings but only options to sync contacts and calendar. BUT when selecting synchronize -nothing happens - says its been synced but no contacts nor items in the calendar appears!
When going to Mail app and adding my mail account same way it says that it cannot connect to the server. WTF - does the exchange not working at all?
Did you try
Settings > Accounts and sync > under Manage Accounts > Sync Calendar / Sync Contacts "Touch to sync now"
you can set your sync settings here, did you enable Push and auto-sync?

You might need to confirm if there is any issue at your Exchange server (but Your Exchange Admin will never admit
ok, let's take 1 step back, and do some fundamental check
1. did you manage to login to your Exchange in the phone? (you should get a pop-up notification if you failed)
2. did you send any email out?
3. did you manage to receive any email?
It is working with HTC Desire so the answer is yes, my Exchange server is fine
any idea which firmware you having?
