Maple! - Dash 3G, Snap General

Hi,
Can someone advice me where to buy GSM Maple in a good price in USA¿
Tested ebay but not too much success...
Thanks in advance,

For use in USA with AT&T, I would get the Telstra HTC SNAP S523. It supports the 850MHz band. You can find them on eBay. For Tmobile, the TMO Dash 3G using the 1700MHz 3G band. For UK, SNAP S521.

Thanks for the info

HTC HD T8285 works in 3G / WCDMA 1900mhz

Hello everyone, im about to purchase a brand new HTC HD T8285 from Telstra, Australian carrier.
Im just worried about the 3G compability in my country (1900mhz), because they say it works with AT&T, but they operate under 850mhz and 2100mhz i thing... so i need to make myself sure if this model allows WCDMA under 1900mhz witch is the 3G band of my carrier in Chile.
Thanks in advance for any usefull information,
By the way i found this link that says at specs it does run under 1900mhz... but im not sure...

at&t uses the 850 mhz and 1900mhz bands for 3G access. the Telstra version only supports 850mhz and 2100mhz bands. as far as i know, the Telstra HD and UK HD do not support the 1900mhz 3G band. by the way, the specs on that link are WRONG! it only works on at&t's 850 3G band.

not sure what this email is confirming. the Telstra HD does include the 1900mhz EDGE band, which is slower than 3G. as you say in your post..if you bought the Telstra HD, you will have to live without 3G. life will not be too bad because you will at least have EDGE access. you should be happy tho... the HD is a good WM phone...

Where to buy a 3g 850/1900 version?

Hey, kind of an odd question for these forums, but I am running out of options! I have been searching high and low for a North American version of this phone that operates with the 850/1900 UMTS/HSDPA. Everywhere I find it, it is for Europe/Asia: 900/2100.
Anyone know where I can get the 850 version reasonably priced? The ONLY place I have found it is expansys, and they are very overpriced. Thanks for any help!

Will TMobile US HD2 get 3G in Asia?

Simple question, but hard to answer: will this US phone work in Asia with UTMS 2100, at 3G (HSPDA) speed?
I know an International HD2 going over on TMobile or AT&T roaming will only get EDGE.
I want to know a similar thing: Will the T-Mobile US HD2 work on Western European 2100MHz 3G band?
(I won't be using it in the US, so the fact that the international version doesn't work on US 3G is of no interest to me.)
A simple answer: it will because it supports band 1 and 4 3G.
Simple Answer: Yes
Thanks everyone who replied. I'm making a trip to LA in about 3 weeks time to grab one at a T-Mob shop. Hopefully the stocks will not be an issue by then...

UK Legend 3G bands & T-Mobile US

I'll be moving back stateside this August and I'd love to use my sim free Legend on a gsm provider back home.
T-mobile US 3G bands are (900/AWS/2100 MHz)
The Legend is specified for use at: HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz
Can anyone clarify if I'll be able to get 3G on a T-mobile US sim?
Or even knowing the bands are similar does the fact that T-mobile uses AWS and not HSPA/WCDMA mean I wont get 3g?
Any type of clarification would be helpful

Hey man, you might have figured this out already but, as far as I can tell, you can't use the T-mobile US 3G bands on the legend. I got my legend over the interwebs and put my t-mobile SIM in there, and although there's 2g data, no 3G. I don't really mind though, it's an awesome phone and it gets plenty of second glances since there's nothing like it here in the states. I'm also around wi-fi most of the time i need it, but it would be awesome to get that 3G working.
I've looked around a little but can't find anything. Does anyone know if this is even physically possible? And if so, how? Thanks.

[Q] 3G (1700mhz) mod for T-mobile U.S.?

so i got this fantastic HTC Touch HD (unlocked) to replace my beat up sidekick. anyway i want to know if there's any way to use this phone on t-mobile's 3G network? what a shame it'd be if i cant.
If you have a T8282 (BLAC100) then it's not possible, the hardware isn't there to support US 3G bands. The T8285 (BLAC120) should work fine though.
Not on T-Mobile though, 8285 is for 850/1900 3G bands (AT&T) and you need 1700 for T-Mobile
